Her behavior made me feel like I was being watched and singled out, which was both upsetting and unsettling. It felt like I was being racially profiled, as she appeared to alert other staff to keep an eye on me and my girlfriend. We were simply shopping in casual clothing (sweats and slippers), and there was no reason to suspect us of anything inappropriate. Because of how uncomfortable the situation became, we decided to cut our shopping short and only purchased a banana. At checkout, I explained what had happened to the cashier and even asked whether theft of a $3.99 tote bag was really such a concern. It was frustrating to feel judged over something so minor, especially when we had no intention of doing anything wrong. Overall, the experience left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I hope management addresses this, as no customer should feel profiled or uncomfortable while simply trying to shop.

This store does not provide aisle numbers or proper item locations online, which already makes shopping extremely difficult for delivery drivers and shoppers. The store layout is often disorganized, many items are out of stock, and it becomes very time-consuming to complete orders. What made the experience worse was the attitude from the customer service desk and management staff. When I politely asked for help locating items, I was told they were "not obligated" to assist. The attitude was cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. Delivery shoppers are also customers helping bring business to the store. A little basic assistance and respect would make a huge difference. Unfortunately, this location made me feel unwelcome and unsupported compared to many other supermarkets in New Jersey. I hope upper management reviews the customer service standards at this location and improves the shopping experience for both customers and delivery workers.
