Although sale prices…read moreremain decent, and It's a good store for "staples", and I understand why there might be some limitations on packaged goods selections, the produce "Bar" does need added inspection, the onions and potatoes are often sketchy. Deli has more people than ever but service has not improved and they no longer package salads to order. Their stacks of coleslaw, potato, and various salads can have up to a week old package date, the slaw having lost it's sweetness for "tang". They are not rotated properly, if you go through them, you can sometimes also find newer ones and older ones with a difference of several days. They are packing more than needed for the shelf to look fully stocked. We always go for their fried chicken and "store" bagels but alas, you can't live on Redners alone, real bakery, meat (too much yuck "Hatfield" brand) and produce will keep you running between different stores on more than special occasions.

We ended up getting a bunch of different things to try and she got these mango fruit ice creams that she couldn't even wait to open and eat before we got home. I doubt the people at the store realize I didn't get most of my items, and I can't tell them because the six times (so far) that I've called nobody picks up the phone. He grows most of the vegetables and what he doesn't farm himself, he gets from local growers. Both he and his local suppliers use organic growing principles.
