There is availability and the pharmacists are helpful to answer any questions or concerns. The CVS is a bit on the older side of how long the place has been there. My 79 year old father was recently diagnosed with COVID and accidentally had his Paxlovid prescription sent to Leonia Pharmacy (instead of CVS in Leonia). After we learned about the mix-up, I phoned Leonia and spoke to the pharmacist, Sera Kim. Despite the fact the pharmacy closed 30 minutes prior, she said she would be happy to fill the prescription (along with my dad's cough syrup). She also provided sound advice for throat pain & spent time informing me about the side effects of the medication. I am incredibly grateful for such caring, dedicated pharmacists like Sera Kim. Additionally, I'd note that the pharmacy has a good selection of face masks.

Anthony is the nicest pharmacist and shop owner. So good to everyone in the hood. I stopped in today for the first time in many years. When I walked in, I said hello to the person at the register. He ignored me. I repeated myself. He ignored me again. I stood and waited. He finally turned off whatever he was watching and asked me what I needed. I asked him to direct me to the aisle with cough meds. He told me where and as I walked away, he shouted, "They can help you in the back." My my my. What an inconvenience I am as a customer! I miss Anthony. I left and went to a competing local pharmacy just down the street (there are several on Broad Ave). Until Anthony hires better front of the shop personnel, I don't think I'll be returning.
