Instead of correcting the error, they blamed me and argued that customers must pay an extra $2.95 for a PDF preview to ensure accuracy. I wish I had read reviews first. Don't buy the special black "gift set" embosser. Amazon would do better. The die stamp plate is very shallow, small width. Company has their excuses down pat, especially wrong paper; use a single sheet; not pressing hard enough ... Their stamp sample is taken manipulating light and shadows, so it looks sharp. The gift embosser is CHEAP! Hardly an impression. No value. Don't throw away $150 on this company. I have had a couple of embossers that cost $75 that were better quality. Crooks. NO STARS. Terrible customer service. The photos I show are thin paper, hardly an impression. This company is terrible. A waste. read more

I've used this company for multiple years ordering my notary supplies. I liked their selection and prices. For four days now, I have been unable to order online due to the "gateway server" error whatever that means that was appearing. Contacted their customer service (online email only) and they instructed me to use another browser as others had also gotten that message using Google Chrome. So, I signed up for Microsoft Edge to order my supplies (over $100 order) and still the error message exists. I again contacted their customer service explaining the problem and asked them to call me to place my order. I would also pay the additional charge for the proof reading. I was told we don't take phone orders! Well, okay....then you lost a loyal customer. So crazy there is no personal service these days. read more

the only reason i give them two star and any of my money is because i can't find the ink i need elsewhere. this happened a bit ago right once covid started letting up but it still taps on my shoulder when i order ink i waited months before i was told by THEIR ONLINE CHAT that they were reopen to the public so i could take some stamps to have remade. my boss was not tech savvy so he wanted me to go take them the examples as they were the ones who made them previously after driving an hour out they refused to let me in or even talk to me and take the examples in to our sales person. i called to speak with someone higher than the girl at the door and explained again that their website chat told me they were open to the public. the higher lady tried to tell me that wasn't likely (like i can't read) and when i said i'd just have my boss call _____ our sales person the lady wanted to flex that it was her husband and i don't need to take anything past her. OKAY do you want a gold star? idc who your husband is. he is who we normally delt with so i was going to let my boss call him and square away what was needed. so now i got my stamps made elsewhere and would never consider them for that service again. read more

Over the years I've ordered probably almost two dozen stamps from this company. And the quality of their work is fantastic shipping timing everything wonderful. My problem is their customer service three hours after I approve a design they send me a 30% discount which I proceed to then call up and try to see if I can take benefit of that. And they flatly tell me no nothing can be done I asked the young lady that I was speaking to if she could check with anybody else and again I'm told no which in turn I said basically you're telling me I am just out of luck just by a few hours. I placed an order that didn't arrive to me despite the tracking number saying that it did. I called to find out what the next step is and ended up speaking to the UNHINGED owner who hung up on me. Totally unprofessional and borderline hysterical. If you can't handle an unhappy customer, a sales job is the wrong line of work. As a small business owner myself, I hate giving poor reviews. However this entire interaction completely blew my mind! I purchased a super heavy duty embossing stamper second hand...after doing a ton of research, I found Acorn was the manufacturer. The original imprint plates were from 2017, so not new but definitely not AGES ago. I reached out through their chat on the website, noting the page where they currently sell this exact model. They informed me the body and parts changed regularly over the years and they would not produce replacement plates due to the concern of it not fitting. I sent photos to show this was the EXACT model and style as they are currently selling (for $300, btw and it's listed as LIFETIME WARRANTEED, so they clearly service the item). She then passed me off to the Customer Service team w/ a ticket. I got an email late last night from the apparent VP and she changed her story 3 times about all the reasons they don't provide any post-purchase service. First it was they cannot produce the plates, then it was only for stamps they manufactured (which they clearly made this one)...FINALLY, she responded that they don't service the stamper because it takes too long to repair/replace the plates! I never requested a repair ticket. I requested pricing on replacement plates that I will install after removing the old/outdated plate. Basically, it's a HUGE runaround so they can sell you a new $300 embossing stamp instead of offering any customer service on a what's already been bought & paid for. Super disappointing. They offer less expensive options but there's ZERO way I'd ever buy anything from this company, EVER. As others have noted, if there was a zero star option, I'd choose that. read more
