I started acupuncture 2 weeks ago with Augustin. On my first visit, he went over a comprehensive health questionnaire with me. He spent a lot of time explaining his style and outlined what I could expect. The environment is relaxing and welcoming. There is low pleasant music playing to encourage relaxation. For the past three months I have suffered extreme sciatic leg pain diagnosed as Piriformas Syndrome. I have visited a Physical Therapist for three weeks with little pain relief. AcQPoint has helped me in so many ways! After a car accident, I was experiencing pain from a whiplash. After several acupuncture sessions with Dr. Dianne Sheppard, that issue as well as years of neck and upper back problems have been resolved. I have gone to AcQpoint on 2 occasions with a 3rd appointment scheduled for next week. Teri Tudor was highly recommended to me for Cranial Sacral Therapy. If you are wondering what that is, it is a gentle, noninvasive form of bodywork that addresses the bones of the head, spinal column and sacrum. The goal is to release compression in those areas which alleviates stress and pain. I have been suffering for 2 years with chonic pain that is beyond debilitating. My left side head feels like a vice is clamping down due to something inside that is compressing nerves on my Trigeminal Nerve. I have seen so many specialists and tried many types of homeopathic therapy and nothing has worked. I have been given so many medications and even gone to a healer, all to no avail. I have gone twice in the past week and what Teri does is pretty amazing. She is like the face whisperer. She literally has a conversation with my face with her hands and with the lightest of delicate touches, she works on pressure points that are causing pain. my first visit to AcQPoint and the experience exceeded my expectations. on Sept 18th i fell off a the top stairs onto lower cement stairs (see picture attached) landing on my knee and left side. i didn't brake bones or hit my head so i kept on, but on the 3rd i started feeling extreme pain and became quiet stiff with slow mobility, trouble breathing deep. you can say i crawled into Dr. Sheppards office and after 2 hours of treatment, i was breathing deep where i could count to 7 seconds holding my breath, the sharp pain was gone and i was walking faster and moving easily from left to right. i was able to physically clean the guesthouse i stayed in that day..effortlessly. also the scrape and bruising on my knee was purple as it was a deep scrape of at least two layers of skin (see before and after picture above) Dr. sheppard gave me herbal pills and herbal patches that worked immediately their way into my system. Internally healing me! the herbs and medicine are magical! just look at the pictures it is now sept 27 , I was treated at AcQPoint on the 21st the blood clots are gone and i have new skin over the layers i scraped off. Augustin helped me through a terrible pain I had stemming from my lower back that traveled down my leg. The pain was excruciating and no pain relievers or muscle relaxers could even take the edge off the pain. After my first session, the pain was reduced by about 25-30%. That was a very great relief. After my second session, I was about at 40% recovered, again a great stride for me. My third session, I am now at 85% recovered. These sessions occurred just over two weeks and I would recommend Augustin for any acupuncture needs. He is wonderful and if I ever experience any type of similar pain, I am going back to him. I purchased the Deal of the Day for five "ThermaJade Massage" sessions. After presenting my coupon, I was led to a heated flat table with rollers, where I had the 50 minute "massage." I was handed a pair of headphones with relaxing music, but one earphone wasn't working and the battery ran out of charge after about ten minutes. Did I mention that this non-functioning side of the earphones was peeling? I paid $45 for the privilege of laying on a flat table, where I could've gotten a better massage on my massage chair, not to mention the fact that I traveled quite a distance for this. This was a total waste of time and money. I'm forfeiting my other "massages" since it's not worth the gas either. read more

Dr. Shepard knows exactly what to do to keep me in peak condition as well as addressing the little ongoing aches and minor injuries that crop up when I over-do, at the gym, in yoga or dancing. I was experiencing migraines for years with increasing pain, duration, and frequency.
