I help my clients take a deeper look into the core of what is impacting them, collaborate with them to explore what they would like to change or maintain in their lives, and work with them to gain the tools that they need to work through past and/or current issues that are negatively impacting them. I can speak from experience due to the fact that I have had many major surgeries and had to go thru rehabilitation a number of times. I arrived here from Keck Hospital & had no idea what to expect. The staff whether, an RN, LVN, CNA, etc.... showed a sincere desire to help and I was very relieved because I had no Idea what to expect. Even in the most challenging conditions, the staff always conducted themselves with professionalism and a sincere desire to help their residents. I enjoyed 3 meals a day and I can name many places where the food wasn't half as good, hats off to the cooks & kitchen staff--Bravo!! My stay there was pleasant & helpful in terms of healing, the rehab team did their best to see that I progressed from day to day and I'm very grateful for their help. If you are searching for a place like this, i would strongly consider Temple City Convalescent. I would like to thank some of the staff that I believe did an outstanding job during my stay there. Special ThanksTo: Gellyn Sarnicula, Julian Fuentes(CNA), Rubing Wang AKA "JoJo," Judy Xu(RN), Juan Arciga(LVN), Thea Adlao(LVN), Jaime Blas(RNA/CNA), Madel Locsin, Kara Fernandez(front desk), Sandy(TX), Juneting Chia, Elva Perez, Klarissa Morales and Maria Diaz. All of you earned my respect and admiration for a job Well Done! May God Bless All of You and Your Families.

The Administrator (Joanne) walks the halls and checks all the patients. I felt like I was part of the family of Temple City Healthcare. I left a voice message, and he called me very soon after. I remember feeling a sense of comfort and calmness after speaking to him bc he seemed genuinely interested in helping me and also accommodated an appointment to see me as soon as was possible. In person, about 2-3 days later. Because it was social anxiety, I knew I wanted to see someone in person. So we met in person. His office is plain and he had the word "believe". It was simple without distractions. I needed this, bc the days that followed were walking into this place of collapsing my thoughts and feelings. Tim's approach is simple and it's realistic. But it is only simple for the very reason: that Tim is extremely passionate about the subject and therefore knows it very well. Therefore going through the sessions you begin to learn concepts and in the process you begin to learn about yourself, your reactions, and how correction is possible. It's realistic / common sensical and when you realize this, you feel hope that change is possible. Hope is important, bc it's the right step to begin rerouting your thoughts, highs / lows and find a balance in life. Tim is passionate about this. Tim as a person is not only knowledgeable and professional, but he is kind and generous. Generous in sharing information- to teach you as much as he knows and he is also generous with his time. Never rushing you or holding you to a minute maximum. In him you will find a wise and emphatic man, bc of this, trust emerges and you will find it easy to open up. Thankful for Tim!

It's been...like 2 years since I've dropped out of A.P.F.C…read more When I first came here was for a recommendation from my High School back in Freshman year. My Principal told me I needed help since my depression was going haywire and not under controlled since it was effecting my school life and grades. My mom thought I was sick so she wanted me to try it out. So I did. I had two therapist there. One was for a few months or a year? She didn't help much, then again I can't really express how I feel and it's really difficult to talk about my situation and problems when they've don't understand where I'm coming from. So I requested another therapist, her name was Christine. I've been with her for 2 years?? Also didn't help. No matter how many times nothing worked. So then I dropped out of this place and yrs later I dropped out of High school from all the moving. I'd give this place a 5 star if they had Art therapy. I've usually express stuff with Art. Other then these negative experiences I've had with this place, The workers are nice, the place are clean and fresh, I'm sure the workers and staff helped many people or are trying too. They do games and sometimes even save up to take the kids and their clients to a field trip. If you think that therapy won't help you then don't bother. But If you think that it will or might then come to this place. Good luck.

Asked me my insurance information, just one minute she hung up and said she has important call. After few minutes she called again, but the phone got disconnected without any reasons. Same thing happened again and again. Then she claimed they cannot see me because I have no Medical, although I have Medicare and Blue Shield. Then she said she will refer me to another place that accepted Medicare, and the phone got disconnected and she never called me back. They got government fund, that is tax payers money, I paid tax about fifty years, and that is what I got from them.
