At these critical periods of trying to find themselves and develop into who they envision themselves to be, it is pertinent to their growth and well-being that any unresolved issues be addressed now! This will allow them the opportunity to grow and blossom to become the best version of themselves that they can be in the present and in the future. I help my clients take a deeper look into the core of what is impacting them, collaborate with them to explore what they would like to change or maintain in their lives, and work with them to gain the tools that they need to work through past and/or current issues that are negatively impacting them. I meet my clients where they're at emotionally and provide them with support and empathy, while also adequately challenging them to see any areas in which they may be able to modify to improve their relationships and their lives.

Hi, my name is Rich S. And I spent 72 days at Temple City Healthcare…read more I was recovering from ankle replacement surgery and I chose this location because of the recommendation from Keck-USC hospital L.A. ( where I had my surgery). Temple City Health Care is an approved location from Keck-USC location where they have doctors follow up with your recovery. This was a key for my decision. The Administrator (Joanne) walks the halls and checks all the patients. I felt like I was part of the family of Temple City Healthcare. The Staff like I mentioned above made me feel like I was part of their family. I would like to recognize the following personal: Karla charge nurse Judy Rn Stephanie Juan charge nurse Rosario Rose Guadalupe Guadalupe Brenda Pam Chris Robert Cara Stephanie charge nurse Carol Leigha Sandy Tiffany charge nurse Dianna Alice Trasinna Marci you did a fantastic job Dave I probably left some personal out and I am truly sorry but you made a difference for me in my recovery. I personally wish to recognize the personal in the Rehabilitation Department: Shea Brandon Ralph Jacob They performed a miracle in my rehabilitation from a person who was unable to walk to my current status of walking with a walker. Thank you for putting up with me‼ Rich S

I can speak from experience due to the fact that I have had many major surgeries and had to go thru rehabilitation a number of times. I arrived here from Keck Hospital & had no idea what to expect. The staff whether, an RN, LVN, CNA, etc.... showed a sincere desire to help and I was very relieved because I had no Idea what to expect. Even in the most challenging conditions, the staff always conducted themselves with professionalism and a sincere desire to help their residents. I enjoyed 3 meals a day and I can name many places where the food wasn't half as good, hats off to the cooks & kitchen staff--Bravo!! My stay there was pleasant & helpful in terms of healing, the rehab team did their best to see that I progressed from day to day and I'm very grateful for their help. If you are searching for a place like this, i would strongly consider Temple City Convalescent. I would like to thank some of the staff that I believe did an outstanding job during my stay there. Special ThanksTo: Gellyn Sarnicula, Julian Fuentes(CNA), Rubing Wang AKA "JoJo," Judy Xu(RN), Juan Arciga(LVN), Thea Adlao(LVN), Jaime Blas(RNA/CNA), Madel Locsin, Kara Fernandez(front desk), Sandy(TX), Juneting Chia, Elva Perez, Klarissa Morales and Maria Diaz. All of you earned my respect and admiration for a job Well Done! May God Bless All of You and Your Families.

Asked me my insurance information, just one minute she hung up and said she has important call. After few minutes she called again, but the phone got disconnected without any reasons. Same thing happened again and again. Then she claimed they cannot see me because I have no Medical, although I have Medicare and Blue Shield. Then she said she will refer me to another place that accepted Medicare, and the phone got disconnected and she never called me back. They got government fund, that is tax payers money, I paid tax about fifty years, and that is what I got from them.

Against better judgment chose2 trust Shirui &go in person 2 scheduled appointment 2 try again 2 terminate all services for treatment from APFC.Upon entering APFC@ my scheduled appointment w Shirui on 10/30 front desk staff Hao very timid whch very unusual behavior 4him. In all experiences w interacting w Hao both in person&verbally over phone for past2 or 3+ years of treatment at APFC he has consistently been rude both verbally (regarding tone of voice choices of words etc)&physically (regarding facial expressions eye rolling body postures of indications of sarcasm and disrespect/impatience etc) in other words unprofessional&unacceptable choices of behavior 4 legally employed front desk staff member @ any mental health treatment establishment.Consistent except after I finally filed and handed a written complaint to the female staff who stated was in charge of receiving/filing complaints who works in back office room behind front desk glass week of 10/13.After entering Shirui's assigned office, another staff member listened in on my therapy session outside her closed door (repeated behavior frm employed staff @APFC please refer 2my Google review4 past experience w Rachel)& Shirui's white noise machine 4 privacy was not working (she verbally stated). Shirui stated one of her intentions 4 tht scheduled therapy session was 2update my safety plan 4suicide prevention.documented my warning signs, coping skills, safety factors,&reasons worth living for. After direct privacy violations frm employed staff @APFC refused 2 give names of people I trust 2 assist me w help & how they do so. As legally employed therapist in CA Shirui is expected 2document my verbal statement of termination& no further obligation4 treatment frm her,& any staff member employed at APFC(patient autonomy)& had she truly documented responsibly, specific stated words directly communicated to her in person during tht session wouldve included, "closing my case here" "seeking therapy& psychiatric services elsewhere" which is right as client's unilateral decision 2end all treatment received frm this establishment & anyone employed here. Unilateral termination frm Shirui as therapist, specifically &directly let her know w sufficient notice my intentions of personally seeking both therapeutic & psychiatric treatment elsewhere& she directly verbally stated to me tht she did not feel comfortable making legal referrals 4me 2 get help with legal matters. 10/31 @ 8:28am received direct text 2 phone # 4appointment reminder scheduled11/4 @1pm at APFC frm provider Emily Ng. I very clearly stated both verbally over phone 2Rachel, &verbally in person w Shirui tht i explicitly wish to end and discontinue ANY further future appointments, treatment, and involvement with Asian Pacific Family Centers, in Rosemead and California in general &anyone employed by APFC.Legally violates all professional boundaries w adult mental health treatment services in CA especially w continuing scheduling appointments directly against my free will& communication (patient autonomy)Legally not obligated 2 attend further scheduled appointments by anyone employed at APFC or pay 4them. If needed (at this point it probably is)will formally notify APFCboth thru email& certified mail the case was legally supposed to be closed on date of last session w Shirui, I explicitly stated would NOT b scheduling further appointments&that any subsequent charges r supposed 2b invalid. After doing so, intend on filing complaint w CA Board of Behavioral Sciences once APFC & its staff keep persisting w unwanted contact&billing already directly communicated both 2 Rachel&Shirui I want NO FURTHER contact frm this clinic /ANYONE employed here)
