I recommend it if you like to try a different pizza place, but if you're expecting as good as Domino's Pizza, it's not the closest comparison to it, it might be because of corona but I can tell that the tomato sauce is on the cheaper side one of those tomato sauces that taste like it's from a lunchAbowl the sweeter kind of tomato sauce and if you can see on the photo it is quite a bit of tomato sauce I recommend putting a little less more than what you have that you see in the photo and also the pepperoni is quite large I don't know if that's a specialty here have it on but if it is, it's a plus read more

My search for good New York style pizza brought us to Acropolis Pizza (the search for good Neopolitan style pizza ended when we found Piatta). It's a bit far for anyone in St. John's (we live near Blackmarsh and Columbus and it took us about 10-15 minutes to drive), but it's almost worth the drive. The toppings are good, most of the crust is tasty, and they put a nice amount of cheese on (not too much or too little). The thing that threw me off a bit is the sauce. It seems a bit sweet to me, I'm not really sure how else to describe it. If it weren't for the sauce, the search would have ended here, but this is the best place we've found so far and I'll definitely go back if I'm not willing to try a new place. read more

This is my all time favourite pizza joint for a quick slice. Huge portions and great prices. I haven't had a full pizza from here, as we've always visited on a quick trip. Looking forward to trying it all the same! read more

Tried grabbing a slice on multiple occasion. Mostly because I hear great things. However, every slice I've tried has made me violently I'll a short time after eating it. Naturally, I"ve been completely turned away entirely by their pizza. Can't say I never tried, giving two stars because I remember the pizza being decent the few times I've had it. read more

Ordered take out from this restaurant today - got the pizza home to discovered it was covered in things I didn't ask for and dislike - called to discuss and clarify my order - confirmed what was supposed to be on my pizza. They then sent a replacement without the toppings I paid for or wanted. I was advised I would get free toppings on my next purchase - these folks are bad at what they do and will take your money for it either way. Zero out of 5 stars for folks who can't take an order properly or make it right when it comes to their attention they didn't give what the customer paid for. Two full pizzas lining my garbage can and they offered me free toppings to compensate for it. read more

Three stars is about right. The premises were clean, if a little plain (it's just a little strip mall shop that does mostly takeout trade), and the people working there were nice, but the pizza was pretty plain. In a bad pizza province, Acropolis Pizza will do if you're in Mount Pearl and need some regular takeout pizza. I wouldn't be in a huge rush to return here, but do keep in mind that what makes for a good pizza is highly subjective and others may really enjoy the pies that come out of this place. read more

Some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. Not nearly as good as Old Town. Crust is good, sauce is amazing, and cheese is pretty perfect.

Horrible customer service. I love going out for a slice and a pop, brings me back to my childhood... they had three young girls working and huddled in a corner gossiping about something or another. Each one of them with a look on them like a boiled boot, sour, sour greeting. We went ahead and ordered the last two slices they had with a couple of donair sauces, when I was telling her what kind of drink I wanted she interrupted me, mid sentence and asked how many donair sauces I wanted... okay, no worries. Then went back to her huddle gossip session, and slowly got the pizza, gave it to us, we had to ask for our drinks and donair sauce. Because she wasn't listening! It was so much disrespect towards a returning customer after being away for 4 years... I'll stick with Peter's Pizza ANYDAY! At least we get a smile, and a warm greeting. The bare minimum I expect when eating at an establishment. Not to mention their debit machine also made me tip... no option to give this team 0%. I won't be back! read more

Possibly the best pizza in the east end, I always go here for pizza and wings but the wings are a hit or miss. 5 stars for the pizza even though a little extra pizza sauce couldn't hurt. read more

The pizza here is good, might be the best in Mount Pearl. That isn't exactly saying much because other than Old Town there isn't much in the Pearl. Crust is excellent, they don't load it down with cheese which I like. The sauce is average as are the toppings. I find their slabs hold up well to sitting around in the glass case. I have had their fries here, absolutely avoid. The foam container they come in melts there is so much grease on them. Souvlaki is average at best, I won't try it again. Their nachos are really good and absolutely loaded with toppings. Issue is the mozzarella cheese. I'm sure they sell enough of them they can get a blend of cheese or even straight up cheddar. This is a high 3 for me. I'm a repeat customer even though this could be so much better if they changed things up a little. read more
