Literally the only restaurant near the ferry port on the way to Bell Island is this no-frills restaurant. Out front is a tiny parking lot. Inside, a server will lead you to a table on one of two floors. If you go to the second floor, there are two little balconies with single tables.
The menu is small, but there's something for everyone. My friend Taylor got the tuna sammie and I the tomato soup and grilled cheese. The soup was the winner! It's thick and made with onions and red pepper making it stand out. Dipping the grilled cheese in the soup is key.
To drink, we ordered their spicy chai. It was not great. It was not sweet and literally tasted like English breakfast tea from a bag with one or two spices.
