The title pretty much gives you a clear idea what the tour was about. It took us around San Juan. We saw different sights like the Antiguo Prision de la Princessa, the Paseo de la Princesa, Fuente Raices, Paseo de Los Presidentes, Castillo San Felipe Del Morro and many other sights. The driver did Mariza did a great job getting to the places we visited safely and timely. She did a great job navigating those streets and getting us as close to the places as possible so that we would not have to walk much. Our tour guide Aponte was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He made the tour even more interesting than it already was. Great tour! I would recommend it for anyone who has never been to Puerto Rico as it gives you a good jumping off point to understand the history and admire the beauty of this beautiful island!

We met the boat crew around 545pm as the ride starts at 6 and goes 90min. We paid $257 for 2 adults and 1 teenager. We left on time and the crew was great. They provide you a snack plate of grapes. Turkey sandwich wrap, baby bell cheese and pretzels. You also get water, soda or beer free as part of the tour. You get to see old San Juan, irs bldg, morrow castle, governors home, along with other sites. The crew of 3 has a captain, first mate and tour guide. The play music in between sites and bring the tour group into conversations on history, where they are from snd if they are celebrating anything. We had a 60 year old birthday and ppl vacationing from all over the world. The tour was great and went about 1hr 45min.

The tour starts early but trust me when you leave you will understand why. Heidi has so much knowledge to share as you go through all areas of the rainforest, while Jose is right beside making sure you feel safe. I am not in the best shape, never hiked off a path or flat land, and with the help of Jose I was able to do this hike. We hiked through muddy areas, climbed some rocks, got to do a natural water slide, rope swing, and jumped into the river. Heidi and Jose are locals who take pride in Puerto Rico, they put your safety first from the moment they pick you up, you truly feel like they are your family. They are also in communication with you before your trip and even offered suggestions and helpful hints for other things outside of their tour. I took this tour on a girl's trip and enjoyed it so much I went back with my 19-year-old son who enjoyed this more than our beach days.

They answered any questions I had and helped me choose the best excursion for my trip. Our tour guide was Ricky, he was very knowledgeable of the island and was super nice. He kept us entertained on the ride to the rainforest by giving us information on things we passed on the way. Although the hike itself was pretty short due to covid and paths still being closed after Hurricane Maria, we still enjoyed a nice walk in the rainforest to the river. The river was absolutely stunning, the water was so clear and the swim was refreshing. Everyone felt comfortable enough to take a leap off of the platform into the river as well as a swing on the rope. Overall, we had an excellent time and would definitely book again!

5/5 Overall Experience…read more Time frame is 7:00am-1:30pm. Our tour guide, GIAN, was super nice and cool. He definitely loves and enjoys his job leading us and educating us about the forest in Puerto Rico. He speaks really great English as well and he was super easy to talk to if you had any questions or concerns. The overall experience is amazing. Beautiful scenery on the way there and in the tour. Make sure you pack lightly. All you need is a camera and good outdoor shoes that you can get wet. It wasn't a difficult hike but you have to be aware of slippery rocks. Don't step on the green rocks or the biggest rocks because they're very slippery and you can really hurt yourself and can ruin your trip. You don't need to bring bug spray as well. Once you get picked up by the bus at the North Plaza Loiza, 15 minutes away from Old San Juan, it takes about an hour to reach to the rainforest. I would say bring light snacks just in case because that food isn't included. They do take you to this restaurant nearby later and the meals cost about $17 per person. They serve rice, chicken, pork and macaroni. The food was like 3/5 for me. The pork was too salty and the yellow rice was alright. Well anyways... the trip was worth it. If you get GIAN as your tour guide, you're in great hands

Once on site, we had a few minutes in the Margarita Bar to take a bathroom break, grab water or snack, etc. Then we went to another area to get our gear put on and then headed to the first line. Before getting started one of the guides gave instructions on what not to do with the gear, how to hold on and how to pull yourself in if you don't make it all of the way to the next platform. Next the adventure began. I don't recall the description saying that there were open-slated wooden bridges to cross or slightly steep and possibly slippery hills to climb. I can say that my nerves, glutes and hamstrings got an intense workout. lol. The last line ends back at the Margarita Bar, perfect for if you need a shot after. The guides help you get all of the gear off. The views were great, and I really did enjoy myself. I made it across successfully on all 5 lines. It was more work than I bargained for but I'm glad that I went and would consider doing it again. All of the tour guides assisting us were great and everyone in our tour survived the experience.

Our experience turned out to be more about kayaking in the dark than the bioluminescent as we only spent 10 minutes in the bay and were rushed back. I complained to the kayak company and was told that it is what it is but from what I understand other tours received a much more thorough experience and actually got a chance to put their hands in the water and explore the natural environment. They also said that our tour was cut short because we were late. The reason we were late is because we were picked up 35 minutes past our meeting time by Yatumba. Since our group was split into two due to our large number, 13 of us had to wait for over 2 hours for the other group to finish to go back to the hotel. Our tour guide could have taken us back earlier but refused even though the other guide from the later tour said that it will be no problem and he can take the other people in his van. Overall, I felt a little fooled and wish I had done my research on pricing and experience prior to embarking with this company.

It was very easy to book and they were always accessible for any questions or concerns. Jorge picked us up the morning of our tour, there was another couple in our small group of four. Jorge was great from the beginning, told us about growing up in Puerto Rico and asked us questions about where we were from as well. I was really looking forward to this tour, since it was described as exploring through areas that even some locals don't know about. It was truly off the beaten path. We started with a short hike to a beautiful waterfall, jumped off a cliff into the water below, and also had a nature lesson from Jorge as he explained the different plants/trees in Puerto Rico. We had lunch in the El Yunque rainforest at a little shop that had incredible views. Then continued along to hike through the rainforest to see five different waterfalls. There are no words to describe the experience -- you just have to do it yourself! It is really a magical adventure!
