I am elated with the way my Jeep turned out after Action Auto finished with it. My husband had used a cleaner on my back seats and we could not get this chemical smell out my car, we also have 2 large dogs that shed often - so my car was already in need of a detailing. We found a Groupon for Action Auto. I know how expensive details can be and was skeptical about how great a detail for less than $100 could be, but wow was I surprised. My husband did all of the set up, calling/appointment setting for the appointment - we had to reschedule twice and they were more than accommodating with us. When I got there to drop off my car, its this smaller shop in a plaza with lots of other auto related businesses, doesn't look like much but the guy was nice. The next day we picked it up after work and WOW - I don't think my car looked this good when I bought it used a few years ago. Maybe I'm uneducated but I didn't know they also wash your car when they detail it, but that was really cool. The smell is gone, and my car looks/feels amazing. When we were picking it up, he told us it's recommended to get it detailed twice a year, and even at their full price I will definitely be doing that moving forward. read more

I had never been here until I found a Groupon and figured I'd give it a shot -- they did a PHENOMENAL job cleaning up the car so it looks brand new. Even the smoke smell is gone, and the scuff marks from the glovebox are gone. They moved everything and cleaned every piece of that car. He even washed down the outside for me. The gentleman said it would take 3-4 hours and had it done in less than 3. Much appreciated! Brought my Jeep in today to have the carpets cleaned, they did an awesome job!! I can't say enough how happy I am with my entire experience. Ray wasn't in at the time I brought my Wrangler in but was immediately available to his employees, by phone, answering my questions (he did come back shortly after the correspondence with his employees so I did get to meet him and he was extremely professional and friendly). They called it an "express" interior clean...it is very clear to me these men take pride in what they do! Bought the Groupon for the Platinum package. Just rating the work average after seeing several areas that were still dirty or didn't complete buffing out some of the wax residue. I got a Groupon to this place and paid 20% below the Groupon price because of a discount going on. I needed an interior detail for my SUV which was filthy after 4 years of food, snow, dirt and trash being thrown. It's been raining a lot so I delayed my trip there, but the deadline was approaching and I could go only on a Saturday. The owner did not have any slots but he offered to take my groupon right away and give me a slot in 2 weeks which I accepted. When I got there, he grumbled that I was a bit late (20 mins). So I was, but grumbling to a customer is not a good way to do business. He asked me to come back in 4 hours. He called me when he was done and I came to pick up. The job was superb. The carpets and seats and the interiors were clean. I recommend the place highly. I will go there again for an exterior detailing. Get the groupon. read more

Bought their deal on Groupon since it was close to my house. Get there and the place is a hole in the wall. Looks more like a used tire shop instead. I get there to drop my car off for my appt and give the guy my name. That was it. No walk around my car. No questions or documents. Strange right? I figure I must get something when I come pick up my car. I get a call right before closing and they ask if anyone called earlier to tell me my car is done. Umm no? If they had, don't you think I would've picked it up. Get there and there's still bug guts on my grill but I figure oh well I really was only concerned about the inside. No paperwork by the way and still no walk around. I'm pulling into my driveway and now see a huge scratch on my side. I call and leave a vm and they call back tomorrow asking to come back in to see it and they'll show me the before and after pics they took. I get there and the guy says he's too busy to show me pics but I can come back next week. He then looks and my car and calls it a bad paint job. Wow! It's a 2014 so you're blaming the manufacturer now? Whatever I wait and never get pics. Finally get an email saying sorry we don't have pics. Received a Groupon for Christmas, apparently a much needed detailing. The car was left as if I was driving it off the dealership brand new. We had a Groupon for an interior detail so we brought our 2012 Honda Accord here, the tan interior/carper was very stained, I thought there would be little they could do to restore its appearance, but they did an amazing job. They really took their time and made sure all of the surfaces were clean and the carpet looked nearly as good as new. read more

Really unfortunate experience. Had car there all day from 8 to 5:30. Was treated rudely by Rick at front desk from the minute I walked in the door. He said my car was so bad that he had to charge me a $70 up charge because of the amount of time his detailer has to spend on it. He said he tried to call me to let me know but he was clearly calling another customer's number. As he showed me and I showed him where my number was clearly written down with my key drop info as well as when I originally scheduled the appointment. He Conceded to only charge $40 for the extra labor. I am absolutely honestly saying that my car was in no where that bad of condition to charge any kind of up charge. But by far, the worst part was how argumentative, confrontational and just plain rude this man was. We couldn't even check the car out very well because it's in the poorly lit parking lot so i had to assume the work was ok. I went to a brightly lit gas station and was appalled. This after rick said his guy worked on it for hours and hours. We tipped the guy $30 based on rick's statement. I've attached pictures showing the inept job that was done. And this isn't a matter of stains that won't come out. I'm reasonable and I get that. This was dirt that I could wipe off with my finger, dirt and grime in the cup holders, inside door jambs never touched, windows that were done ridiculously bad to the point of leaving leaves and debris under the wipers and in the corners. I paid for the platinum interior and exterior package. The man was just so rude, that was the worst part of the whole experience. Can you imagine trying to be charged a $70 upcharge (which he lowered to $40 then waived it as a courtesy once my husband came in from the parking lot and expressed his dismay). We were both exceptionally professional and courteous. Rick then told my husband he had an attitude. I have seen other bad reviews responded to by the owner in an accusational, defensive and unprofessional way. I don't want any part of that. This has been bad enough without getting into verbal warfare. I'm certainly not going back to that place to have them do it right and be exposed to that kind of unprofessional behavior and lose another day. The pictures tell it all. These pictures were taken right after the Groupon redemption and Action Auto's provided service. Bought exterior/interior platinum detail from groupon for $150($300 value). Interior was vacuumed and wiped down, nothing special. Exterior was given shiny tires. Thanks for that! Rest of exterior was horrible. Service was horrible. Started with the line that it would be done in 3 to 6 hours. After 7.5 hours called every 5 minutes for an hour before someone would pick up the phone(voicemail was full so you just felt like someone hijacked your car, no way to contact shop until they feel like calling you). Trying to figure out how to add pictures but honestly, my rodeo looked worse than when it went in. Had to take it to carwash twice to get all the white residue off vehicle that was everywhere. And other than the tires no exterior rubber or black plastic got so much as Armor All put on let alone a quality conditioner/blackener. Paid for premium detail and when handed in keys saw my name on clipboard time with no mention of what package they were to do to vehicle. I can only assume they just did what they felt like that day. I bought the deal for a platinum cleaning (interior and exterior) through Groupon. BIGGEST MISTAKE. First of all, I dropped off my car at 8am and didn't get it back till 3pm. So I thought if it took this long it was going to look spotless inside and out. WRONG!! It literally looked like they just ran my car through a normal car wash and vacuumed/shampooed whatever they could see inside the car. They didn't clean the trunk or the leaves/dirt in the opening cracks till I pointed that out to them. And the guy said "oh they must have not opened the trunk, I'll get that cleaned for you." Which should have been done without me telling them. He offered some sort of deal for a future cleaning who wants to go back after what I experienced??? I would never go back there again! Once I got home I was just checking in between the seats of the driver and passenger sides and i could see they didn't even bother to vacuum in between that. Just an FYI my car was pretty clean before handing it to them so it was very disappointing to see no detailing done right. They even stole my snow cleaner brush/scraper! Moral of my review, please don't bother getting a detail cleaning done here and save your money. read more

If you plan on buying a groupon for this place save your money find somewhere else. I bought a groupon for Action auto and i decided to look at reviews on here and as I was looking at all of the reviews for this place on yelp I was skeptical about them. I didnt know wheater to look at the good or the bad. I decided that i might as well go here as i had already bought the groupon. So i started the process by calling to make an appointment and of course like everyone else says they never answer the phone unless they are in front for some reason. I finally got ahold of them after trying 5 times in the afternoon and 5 times the next day. They found an appointment for me to take in my 97 Chevy Blazer. She was pretty dirty and had some stickers from the previous owner on it that i wanted to get removed. I dropped it off at 8am on a friday (a bit late since the traffic was bad) and they took my groupon and i left the keys and went home. I got a call at about 3:50 saying my truck was ready. As you would think i was excited to see how it turned out. I got there and looked at my truck and was dissatisfied. There was still dirt on it as well as the stickers i had asked to get removed. I walked in and no one was there i walked around to the side and saw there were people there and asked what happened and the guy said ok we can get the stickers of but for the condition your car is in it would take an extra $100 to clean. I told him no we were not going to pay that so they took it back and took of the stickers and "cleaned" the dirt i found. When i got it back there was still dirt and the heat thing they use to get stickers off melted my car. I left furious. About a block away i noticed that my floor mats were missing. I turned around and asked about them. The guy walked back and told me he would check in the back but they were probably in my car. He showed my not one, not two, but 3 different sets of mats. Then he went out and was going to open my trunk. Not only that but they didnt know or ask how to open my trunk. There is a button on the back that isnt for the trunk. Its just there it doesnt do anything. They were using that to try to open the top of the trunk. The button to open it is on the inside of the car near the steering wheel. The guy was pounding on the button and now it did something to the back of my truck that i cant even open the back with the button on the inside of my truck. It now will just pop open while im driving. So after he slammed on it for a while i was done with him doing that, getting frustrated i opened the back door and looked into the trunk and didnt see them. He then went back into the shop after i explained what mats i had he came out with 2 back mats and 2 other ones i had but in all i had 5 mats in my car and only was returned 4, after i told him multiple times that i had 5. I just took the 4 mats and left i was fed up. I got home and saw dirt on the car still that i wiped off with a wet paper towel. I will not be returning ever again save your money and find something better. read more

I bought a groupon for $79 interior detailing. The groupon said they required an appointment and 24 hours notice. I called and got voicemail, so left a message on Saturday. Having not received a call back I called them again on the following Wednesday to try and schedule as I am selling my car this Sunday. I again got the voice mail and left another (somewhat perturbed) message that I needed to get my car in ASAP and they were not returning my call. A few minutes later I received a phone call, but the day I wanted to schedule for (this coming Saturday) was now booked. My only option was to bring my car in the next day at 9am - which made my life very difficult trying to work around my work schedule. So, strike number one. I arrived at 8am (having to go in late to work) and the sign on the door said they were open 8-6, but nobody was there. I had to leave the keys in the gas tank and the groupon info above the steering wheel. I called again to leave a message that my car was there and waiting (nobody answers the phone at this business, ever.) Strike two. My main concerns were some staining on the seats (which I had partially removed myself but were still visible) and hair in the back from my miniature husky. I had just cleaned my dash and cup holder areas a week and a half ago, so my car wasn't filthy or anything. There were a few personal items they had to move out of the way, which they left in a bag in my trunk. Positives: They did a fantastic job with the vacuum, the floors are immaculate. They also did a great job getting in the crevices of the middle console and the cup holders - those parts of my car look brand new. They aired up my tires, which I don't think was included but was very much appreciated. Negatives: there were areas around the seats where dust had collected that went untouched. There were still visible stains on the seats (which seemed like they'd come out easily, to me). And the hair above the back seats where my dog likes to lay had also not been touched. I went back there and pulled out clumps of white hair. All in all, I don't feel I had a great experience with this company. They were hard to reach or talk to, hard to schedule with, and only did 75% of the job. If I'd paid full price I probably would have gone back and asked them to finish. read more

Took my car to get detailed and when I went to pick up car I paid the bill and the owner could not find the key..He said" let me check around and he also would review his video tape. I left as I had my 2nd key. now after repeated attempts to contact him by phone or in person he will not return my call or see me.. Replacement key can only be rekeyed and purchased at the car dealership New key is $256.73 to replace/recode and $65 to recode 2nd key. I have a $500 insurance deductible so I am out $321.73. read more

Work was totally disappointing, I bought the full package, interior work was good, exterior work was horrible, all the tar marks were still there, they haven't even opened the fuel door. I was not impressed. The detailing was supposed to include floor mat shampooing. The floor mats were vacuumed only and left in the back. I ended up washing them myself. There were two spots on the rear hatch that were lightly scratched from a bike rack and their "polishing" didn't remove them - 5 minutes with my orbital polisher and they were gone. They didn't even pop the hood because under the hood was covered in dirt after their detailing. They didn't even clean the edges of the rear hatch. It was a very expensive car wash and interior vacuuming in my opinion. The only good thing out of it all was that the wheels and the tires were clean. I would not go back there again. read more

The main reason I went to Action was because I spilled gasoline in the back of my SUV. They power-washed the carpet, removing almost all of the odor.
