Instead of treating me like the potential buyer I was, and trying to show a reasonable level of customer service, he immediately indicated that he wasn't going to spend "3 hours" with me if I wasn't ready to buy. That they "need to keep the miles low" on the car I was interested in (i.e.-you're not getting a test drive). He referenced the $50k+ price multiple times, suggesting I hadn't even looked at the MSRP or considered what I can afford. He walked away "for a few minutes" while I looked around the car. I stood there waiting for him to return. He was super busy chatting with his colleague, walking through the showroom to step outside and check the weather, then staring at his computer in his office. After 10-15 minutes, I left. No card, no attempt to get contact information. I guess I should have lied when I set expectations early that I wasn't buying that day. I was also courteous enough to show up in the middle of a weekday afternoon (the place was empty), but Jim didn't want to put forth any effort that might not pan out, at the risk (now, a certainty) that he doesn't get a sale. I would have returned and sought another salesperson, but reviews indicates he's not the only problem there. There are plenty of other Acura dealers. Research them and I think you'll end up going elsewhere.

Guess what, the car hadn't even been touched! When expressing my issue with the service Brian told me we are just going "round and round", and "I'm welcome to take my vehicle elsewhere". I get that "short staffed" is the excuse nowadays, but simply communicate that up front. And when called on the poor service, work to fix it, not tell someone to take a hike. Bought the vehicle here and had collision repair done here also, but this experience is one for the books. They were extremely professional and easy to work with. I was quite embarrassed by the situation that had transpired & they were a pleasure. They gave me a next-day appointment, went through the car thoroughly, including putting it up on a lift, pointed out various things of interest, and gave me an honest assessment of the vehicle. You can tell he has a clean, organized repair shop, is knowledgeable, and is someone you can be confident in for any repair you may need. Cannot recommend Rich's Citgo enough!
