This was initially a Google Review . Action Auto Responded and this is my reply to their response. I can't do a review if i don't rate you at least one star! 0 would have been my actually rating! This might have been what you were you referring to in regards to your normal two step process that eventually became, the master mechanic was looking at the process the entire time. Normally, The two step process is as follows: Hand tightened lug nuts in a crisscross start shaped pattern. That seats the wheel evenly! that never happened. Then the torque at specs. You know as well as I do the mechanic never set the wheel properly. This idea of the experience mechanic watching does not make any sense. If he was watching, and he was not, that has no impact of physically putting the wheel back on! You write well an must have been a very good story teller in school. I give you an A for that story! You know as well as I do, that I did not travel over 5 thousand miles in one month. That would have been one long trip. So whoever logged those miles might be the same person who set the pressure on the torque! Not so good with math!!! Sir, I don't appreciate being called a liar!! The tow truck driver, who was supposed to tow the vehicle never did. I told you that was were the vehicle was going not was there. Where you made up me telling you was locked in a yard-- not!! The tow truck driver never showed up because he claims the truck he sent had to flat tires in the back. Action Auto was the main place I took my truck in 7 years, and you never told me to change the old bolts, so if you had a concern you should have told me. Specifically during the last time you did the job on my tire in May 2026. You make absolutely no sense! Additionally, you told me anytime you change or replace wheels it is a two step process. You told me you torque and then wrench it. Then you told me after I question the process on the video that the 2nd step was the Eric was standing right there the entire time. He did even look the direction of the mechanic the entire time. I don't want to go back and forth with you, but I will say your really lacked professionalism. If I was an owner of a shop and there was any possibility that my shop was the last shop to remove an replace a tire, and that wheel came off. I would have offered more than warrantied parts. However, you don't need to worry about me i am out- I really don't think you cared at all about me! The manner in which the vehicle wheel was put back on is in question! Plus your two step process you claimed was not done. Unless the Veteran mechanic looking away from the work an' a virtually set the wheel. He's good and I like him but he is not that good. read more

Just moved to the area and the car started leaking fluid searched the reviews and this place had good reviews. So we choose action automotive, SO GLAD WE DID, they are awesome, very quick to find the problem and fix it. Great price and didn't try to do unnecessary work. On Monday 12/8/25, I contacted Action Automotive & spoke with Jeff (Service Manager) to discuss having work performed on my truck. We went over the issues & pricing for the work to be performed. Tuesday 12/9/25, I called Jeff to discuss availability & when I could bring my truck in. I was told Monday morning. Monday 12/15/25, I delivered my truck first thing in the morning & went over the symptoms again. I was told I would be called the following day with an update. Tuesday 12/16/25, After not receiving an update, I called & spoke with Justin (General Manager). I was informed that they were not able to duplicate the problem during a cold start, to which I replied that the issue happens during a warm or hot start. This was already thoroughly discussed several times. I was told that the Service Manager had failed to provide that information. Justin then pulled up my work order on the computer & found that yes, the information had been documented in detail. Again, I was told that I would be contacted the following day with an update. Wednesday 12/17/25, After not receiving an update, I called to learn the status of my truck. Justin informed me that Eric test drove my truck to Paulden & back to bring the engine up to temperature. He also allowed the truck to idle in the parking lot for an extended period & that there was no starting problem. I was told I would be called the following day with an update. Thursday 12/18/25, After not receiving an update, I once again called to find out the status of my truck & spoke with Justin. I was informed that they had yet to find the problem. During several of these calls, I was asked if this vehicle was my daily driver, to which I replied that it was & the repairs should be as prompt as possible. Friday morning, 12/19/25. I arrived at Action Automotive prior to the business opening. I found my truck in the front parking lot near the street where it had been stored overnight. Both doors were left unlocked. Furthermore, upon opening the rear hatch, I found my tools scattered across the bed of the truck. I have driven that truck in excess of 100K miles with those tools in the back & have never found them out of place. Someone had to drive my truck fairly hard to accomplish that. According to the odometer reading, the Paulden test drive story was pure fabrication. I went into the office to inform Justin that I would be taking my truck home after what I had found, as I no longer had any faith in this shop. This generated a profane tantrum from Justin, attempted intimidation & the refusal to return my vehicle key. The key was eventually "located" & returned. The original starting problem reoccurred the following day. EDIT: REPLY My truck's doors were left unlocked overnight(s) in an unsecured parking area near the main street. The tools in my truck were scattered across the bed by an aggressive driver. The odometer reading proves that the Paulden test drive story is false. You were not there & the story your son is telling you, is also false. There is a recurring theme in the negative reviews you've received. Very revealing how the common reply is to deny, deflect & initiate a personal attack upon the customer. read more

Eric, I tried to discuss the shock quote with you, you would not take the time to hear me out. You quoted me $135 to do 2 shocks, where I paid $100 to have you install all 4. That would be $270 for 4, an increase of 170%! After thinking more about it, I am sorry for the argument, we have always had a good relationship, there were issues, yes, but you did your best to make them right. That reflects in the freebies you mentioned. Again, sorry for the bad review & argument, really doesn't accomplish anything but grief. Trust me, having been in business for 50+ years myself, I understand the difficulties & stress involved. read more

I genuinely cannot recommend these guys more highly. When my husband left and I had to navigate a myriad of car continuous car issues, these gentlemen and women took amazing care of me. As a single mom I was reliant on my car. Eric, Justin and the whole crew were always so helpful, thorough and honest. They never made me feel stupid for asking questions and made sure my car and my children were safe on the road. After a complete $8,000 overhaul of our Cummins diesel in Feb 2024 we got a whopping 1,920 miles out of it before it once again failed for the same reason it failed last time. Burned a piston due to several things including poor machine shop work, which Action should have caught, and sloppy, incompetent reassembly with dozens of loose fittings and omitted steps. immediate and severe oil leaks due to excessive blow-by, and no willingness to take responsibility for the work by anyone. PLEASE DO NOT USE ACTION AUTOMOTIVE. They no longer have a qualified diesel mechanic. The owner whom I have known for over ten years, who is a qualified mechanic, wants to retire and I don't blame him. But his son is no business manager, knows nothing at all about cars and trucks, and at last count they had exactly one highly qualified mechanic who will not work on diesels. The youngster they do have working on diesels should not be allowed to do oil changes much less a complete teardown and rebuild of a diesel engine. The owner is not present enough during the week to monitor shop performance and must not care about the result. Now I face another $8,000 or more to repair what was just done this year less than 2,000 miles ago. Action can deny this all they want, they can dodge responsibility, and make me out to be the bad guy here. But shouldn't $8,000 get you more than 1,920 miles of use from a diesel truck? My best advice go anyone interested is find someone else to work on your vehicle. My best advice to you, Eric, is sell the place and retire before liability law catches up with you. read more

Eric and his crew are professional, prompt and courteous. I've dealt with him for over 20 years and there isn't service or repair I wouldn't trust him with. In a few words; I received a full refund on a repair that wasn't nesscessary. I got a check engine light and a DEF tank code and Action Auto verified and made the repair. Driving home to California, the same codes popped up again. Turns out the wireing harness to the DEF tank was pinched and putting out a false code.
