I came from a doctor who was so bad, but I didn't realize how bad he really was. My old provider didn't listen to my needs, and I was suffering from terrible insomnia. Justin helped me get off some meds that were really bad and frankly not working. He has given me several suggestions for meds, and up until a few weeks ago, they were working. I've been dealing with some social issues, and I was worried that I would be in trouble, but he has given me some short-term meds to keep me on track with my sleep. He is really careful with what he prescribes, which is ethical, and has listened to my needs and helped me stay on track no matter what I am going through. Getting good mental healthcare is so hard to get; it's honestly so sad, and I know I don't even have it as bad as most people, but he has helped me every step of the way. He is one of the most empathetic doctors I have ever met, inside and outside of psychiatry, and I work with doctors every day, so I know them well. That being said, I was seeing the same mental healthcare doctor for so long that I didn't realize that I was being mistreated. I can't say enough good things about him. He isn't a pill pusher but also doesn't just sit by and let you suffer, which is so easy for doctors to do to you. If you are on the fence about giving them a shot, do yourself a favor and at least get a consult from him, and you will see what I am talking about. He never downplays what you are going through, is always on top of the best meds and treatment plans, is reliable, and is a down-to-earth partner in healthcare. So many doctors seem to lack passion or care, but I can see that he went into medicine to help people. What he has helped my wife through, as well, has been short of a miracle. Both of us feel blessed to have him as our doctor, and I can't imagine how bad off I would be if he weren't. She is doing great with Drew. She has been up walking with assistance and Drew has all the patience and does his job with a smiling face. You can tell he enjoys helping people. What a great asset to this company. I even had him work on me with my back. I'm telling you when mom goes into hospital and than rehab facility the staff all know about "Drew" I also had a lady named Kennedy working on my back and she is good as well. The first Speech and Language Pathology Assistant ("SLPA") was terrible and we were told by the…read moreSpeech and Language Pathologist ("SLP") that it caused our child to regress in his speech... how do they allow that to happen(possibly due to lack of oversight as mentioned again below)?! We were still given a full non-adjusted bill despite the detrimental service. I should have removed my child from here at this point, but unfortunately believed them that things would be corrected. Our second SLPA was good. She was kind, patient, and tried her best, which was nice for our child. The issue is the actual SLP was never around and not involved in the care of our child. In about a year and a half of coming to this location, we saw the actual SLP once. The SLP is responsible for creating the therapy plan and making adjustments as needed, they also are responsible for having 10% direct and 10% indirect supervision on the SLPA (which should be documented). None of that happened. Our child had the same care plan the entire time. We had an assessment done at the end of our time which was wildly inaccurate (as determined by 2 other SLPs) where we were told our child was performing at a lower percentile than when we first brought him. Overall, the people are nice. The SLPA did her best with the limited resources available, but I cannot recommend this place. Side note, their billing was very lagged. We would gets bills for appointments 3-4 months behind. I did not hold against them as this is not uncommon in healthcare, just annoying.
