Really crappy management. Heard multiple confrontations with staff while there while sitting in the room waiting to be seen because of the staff's mismanagement and poor customer service. Christian was fine at first but then started mismanaging my meds, canceling appointments and then became blatantly rude. They only care about money and not the well being of clients. I have been going to this clinic once a week for the past year, so this review isn't from someone who just happened to have one bad experience. I'll start at the front of the house. The front desk staff, one in particular, clearly hate their job as their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Don't bother asking any questions about your account, whatever the issue is it's your problem not theirs. One of the nurses is awesome, she has a great attitude and is happy to answer questions. The other ones have the personality of a brick wall and lack the knowledge to do so much as review lab results. Lab results I might add that are incomplete as they never once went over my Free Test, DHEA or Cortisol. They base their dosage on Testosterone alone, which i now know is not a comprehensive way to treat this issue. I know this because I've been going to a new clinic where I review my labs with an actual Doctor who explains his plan in detail. I might add that treatment at this new clinic is half the cost. So save yourself time, money and headache and find another clinic that actually cares about helping people improve their health. read more

I recently was prescribed suboxone at a clinic in Mesa and switched here in order to be closer to my house. I have spent years on this medication in the past and it has successfully kept me clean. The provider was very clear that I was not to use any illegal substance while under her care. I am taking my sobriety very seriously so it was comforting to hear that she also took it seriously. Unfortunately right before my second appointment my girlfriend tested positive for COVID and I also started showing symptoms. I called and asked how I could find a way to take a drug test in time. I was hoping I could find a lab and pay out of pocket. I was not able to even speak to the provider I was told by the woman at the front desk that I could not come in until I have a negative COVID test. Walgreens didn't have any test available for 4 days and the results would take another few days after that. But that didn't matter because I actually did have COVID. Addicts are known for lying so their suspiciousness was completely understandable but I was never given a chance from the start. The provider is extremely patronizing and it was clear the moment our conversation first started that we were not speaking as equals. Nobody else is responsible for my sobriety except for me. But she definitely did not help. I overdrafted my bank account by 150 dollars to pay for my first visit. I had high hopes for this place. I want to give a shout out to Nurse Ariel and the entire staff at Mens Vitality. I came in with the worst cold ever. Totally zapped of energy and feeling like crud. Nurse Ariel gave me an IV of B5, B6, B12, B complex, vitamin C, dexamethasone. Afterward I started feeling better pretty quick. The real amazing part was how I felt later in the day. I was no longer lethargic or drained. I felt so much better. If you have been hit with the latest round of crud or just have any health related issue, need to boost your testosterone level. A few months after I wrote this review, I received a letter from MVC. It was an update to the fact they had lost their BCBS network status. Of course I was surprised since I was never actually told by MVC that they had lost it in the first place. They never mentioned that to me when I called asking about the statements I got. I don't go there anymore, but I think they got their in-network status back. Because MVC never replied to BCBS's request for more information on they claims they submitted for my treatments, I was never actually billed for anything beyond the copay I had already paid. I will give them an extra half star for not back-billing me. I was never convinced (at least by MVC) that I had low T. I still feel they will encourage Testosterone therapy when it's not needed. But I am not a doctor. I don't even play one on TV. So I still suggest seeing a real endocrinologist. read more

I've been going to MVC for over 2 years now. I wish I hadn't waited so long to have my T levels checked! Most men have no idea how prevalent low T is (even if you're in your 30's or younger) and how easy, painless, and convenient TRT treatment is. The biggest obvious change for me is much better overall energy - no more mid-afternoon naps, better ability to focus and concentrate, and needless to say, better libido. I have been going to Men's Vitality Center Tempe for a year. I discovered MVC after having to leave another Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) provider. Men's Vitality Center is a full service men's health care provider. Not only do they treat low testosterone but also they practice internal medicine. I am being treated for my andropause, high blood pressure, hypothyroidism and ED. They can draw blood there for lab-work and can even perform phlebotomies for polycythemia. Their Testosterone Replacement Therapy is also very complete. They offer a very inexpensive and effective estrogen blocker to prevent an elevated estrogen level common in TRT. My previous provider let my estrogen level get too high. MVC saw my labs from my them and was surprised how high my estrogen was allowed to get. In addition to preventing elevated estrogen, MVC also provides intermittent Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) to address testicular atrophy and shutdown. Testosterone injections are offered on a walk-in basis, no need keep an exact appointment time. They are open until 5:30 pm on the weekdays and they even have Saturday morning hours. read more

They don't have a clue what they're doing, or they don't care about you. They prescribed me HCG because my hormones were lower than normal. HCG shuts down LH production, which in turn causes your testosterone to fall once HCG is removed from the equation. My HPTA axis was desensitized, and my body was having side effects due to the aromatic nature of HCG. I was never given an estrogen inhibitor for the extra converted estrogen and I started to develop gynecomastia.... So I really hope my HPTA and LH completely recover because my hormone levels are lower than before now. Don't use this witch doctor. read more

Imagine my surprise when I called on a recommendation from my insurance company and hear "Men's Vitality" when the phone is answered. While being a place that specializes in Men's health, they also offer General Practioner services to the ladies. The front office staff is super, super nice. Those ladies are so helpful and sweet, you forget you're in a doctors office! The doctor I had could learn a thing or 2 from them. He wasn't terrible, just cold. And he didn't listen. I came in w/ a preexisting condition, something I've lived w/ and have actual knowledge about (ie: I didn't diagnose myself on WebMD), and just needed my levels checked. When he got my results back he started to tell me about this uncommon condition I had. I told him I knew about it and if he looked at my file he'd see that I only came in to get my levels checked and get my recommendation for a specialist, as I knew the condition had elevated. He just stared at me and got very stern telling me how things needed to go. I had to actually interrupt him and point at my initial sheet for him to listen to me. It was rude of me, I know, but he listened. He changed his entire demenior and started to discuss my options now at this stage. He gave me a recommendation based on my insurance as well as his personal cell phone number if I had any questions about new symptoms. I had a mixed experience, but if I still lived in AZ they would've been given a scond chance from me! read more

Its been 2 years and my replacement Therapy is going great. Mens Vitality Center is the place you want to go if you want excellence. As I said before Andre Khoury has been more accurate than any physician I have ever met. My personal opinion is if you want the best treatment, and help making educated decisions from Men's Vitality Center, be sure to ask for Andre Khoury otherwise educate yourself on your diagnosis before any treatment. I noticed a review from a Mike M on 8/27/2012 who obviously has his own opinion. But don't listen to this idiot. I went to my primary doctor who advised me of this diagnosis. He has helped me to get on top of them and stay on top. With multiple medical conditions related to genetics as well as ageing, He makes a great difference in helping me keep it all in order. He brings the small items that can make all the difference, to my attention immediately as they occur. He cares what happens to his patients and it shows in the care he gives. Unprofessional, expensive, and time consuming. There are plenty of doctors in the Valley that provide this service. I will not return and would absolutely not recommend. Every, single, time, I've visited MVC, it's taken far longer than a DR's office for a simplistic treatment.
