We had a small dog with us at our campsite, and he briefly walked over to the campsite next to us. A staff member approached us and told us that if our dog was not kept on a leash, he would ask us to leave. We understand the rule and had no issue complying with it, but the way he spoke to us was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. I am an IR nurse, and I always treat my patients with compassion and respect. Imagine if this staff member arrived at the IR department in pain or with an injury and was treated with the same level of rudeness. Everyone deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Don't forget to pack snacks for the kids (please clean up after your family), sunscreen and reusable water bottles. Not as crowded before 12 pm.

When we were looking for a dance studio a number of years ago, we were searching for one that is casual, supportive and teaches the kids to love the activity instead of being excessively competitive and time consuming. We are glad we chose Dance Dynamics because they work with the students to teach them not only dance, but help them gain self-confidence and a desire to be kind to others. As a result of this, the studio retains talented dancers and has recently won a number of competitions. The owner, Renee, has consistently bent over backwards to be helpful, accommodating and fair with the students and their families, especially during the COVID closures in 2020.
