No screen time, which was a relief compared to so many camps that show movies during lunch or allowed kids to use personal devices during camp hours. My 8 and 10 year olds had great time. Breakfast and lunch are provided, although my kids complained about their low quality and brought their food after the first day. This is really a great resource for working parents as so many camps are only from 9 to 3.

For most weeks he is signed up for Waterfront Camp and we were not sure if it would be the best option for him. We have no regrets, he excitedly shares all the things he does each day and really wants us to purchase kayaks. He is in 2nd grade and will be 8 in a few weeks. He also attends their afterschool program, Kid Day Out when schools are closed, takes swimming lessons, horseback riding and participates in Run Club all at YMCA Camp Cristina. It is his Happy Place! They are very responsive and quick to respond when we have questions or concerns. I generally send an email and within a few hours I have receive a reply or phone call.

Located in…read morethe newer part of the mall, this little kid play area is perfect pit stop for the whinny kids who hate shopping (what, I didn't call my kids whiny, but they don't like to shop at malls...yet). The way the play area is laid out, you can can pretty much see your kids at all angles and that is helpful for me on this particular day, as I was trying to get some work done on my computer. Kids are not to wear shoes and socks are required. I love Sesame Street so this was a fun and colorful place for this kids to play. I love that too that they will shut this area down periodically throughout the day to do a thorough clean of the equipment. How awesome is that?! We just let the kids bowl so they got through close to two games. There were three children total. They say you can eat the food and drinks in that area, which is nice. However, the way their food and drinks work is you go and order at a kiosk and then they bring it out so you pick up. They do text you, but we totally missed the text that said the food was ready so it wasn't hot by the time we got it. On a Sunday there weren't that many people eating in the food area. I actually really appreciate that you put in your order and then you get a text, it is much more convenient than having to sit and be waited on. They have California pizza kitchen pizzas and they're actually really good. It was very thin crust and the 14 inch probably could've fed my entire family. The kids also love the curly fries. I thought it was funny because you can choose either fries or curly fries, I chose fries and they came out curly so I guess you really can't choose. My younger son wanted the rainbow Road pancakes. Future Christina do not get the pancakes. He didn't eat any of it. However, the kids demolished all the fries and each ate a piece of pizza so that was a win. As always, the kids played a ton of arcade games. This time we spent $20 per card and let them run around with our friend playing. I was surprised how not busy this place is on a Sunday around noon.
