I was pretty confident that a locksmith would surely be able to copy a key. In fact, I walked in, the guy asked how many , it took less than 5 minutes and I was out w two copies. Then I get to the cabinet and notice that the new keys don't quite match...I'm no locksmith, but it seemed that a key should match exactly...and it should! The new keys wouldn't even go Into the lock. On my second trip the guy (different from the first) looks at the keys and immediately recognizes that the wrong blank was used...attempt number two. I should've known better, but again, I'm no expert! The guy starts searching for the blank when I see the first guy start talking to him..he actually says, yea, I know it wasn't a match but I thought that was close. Really?? So now I get two new keys...but the guy says, well these are just a little different, but they should work ( yea should!) Of course...they didn't ! My issue is not that the keys don't work...my issue is that these guys are supposed to be experts and they are sending me off w a product that they "think" will work and "close" matches! If you were at a car repair shop and some guy says, yea those brakes "should stop ya" how would you feel??? I would've respected the guys much more had they simply said, hey we can't match that key. Even if they told me up front that they could only try and chances are not good..then leave it to me to decide to waste my time or not. Instead they wasted my time, effort, and money(yea it's not free to just drive to your shop a few times guys!).

It created an extremely uncomfortable environment, and I could not wait for the appointment to be over. I regret not addressing it directly in the moment, but we needed the repair completed and did not feel comfortable risking the technician leaving before the job was finished. Professionalism matters just as much as the repair itself, and unfortunately this experience fell far short.

I was a little surprised by the price which is why I dropped a star. It was quoted a tiny bit high but still around the competition (most quotes came out to $180-280), but was completed higher than competitors in the end. That being said, I don't know if the actual price from competitors would have been higher than their quotes. For transparency here, I paid a $65 service fee plus $55 per house lock. The mailbox was a higher charge at $125. I was quoted $200-300 (probably assuming 3 locks rather than the 4 I ended up needing); it came out to about $410 plus tax. The result is the same. I have a fully rekeyed home and mailbox. Service was excellent. The vehicle was well marked and the Johnny was very professional and easy to work with.

My garage door cable had come off the drum and one wheel had come out of the track. I was presented with two choices: a $275 "temporary fix" or a $475 "permanent fix." I asked exactly what the temporary fix included and was told it simply meant putting the wheel back in the track and rewinding the existing cable onto the drum. No replacement parts were installed. Although I understand that companies charge for experience and expertise, $275 felt excessive for what I was told was simply reassembling the existing parts. What concerns me even more is the invoice I received afterward. It states that I declined new rollers, end bearing plates, center bearing, vertical tracks, and even a new garage door opener. That was not how the conversation was presented to me. I was offered only two choices--a temporary repair for $275 or a permanent repair for $475. I was never given individual estimates for each of those items or asked to make separate decisions about replacing them. When I contacted the company afterward to express my concerns, they responded by explaining their pricing policy but did not address my concerns about the invoice or whether the work performed justified the charge. The technician was professional and prompt, and I appreciate that. My dissatisfaction is with the pricing, the way the repair options were presented, and the documentation that appeared on my receipt afterward. If you're considering this company, I recommend asking for a detailed written estimate before authorizing any work and making sure you understand exactly what is being repaired, what is being replaced, and what will appear on your final invoice.

Excellent service and they knew what they were doing. I went to a different locksmith first to get an extra key for a used car I bought. The other people couldn't figure out how to make it work and gave up after an hour and a half. These guys had me out the door in 15 minutes. Highly recommended. read more

Contacted the business and explained the problem. I went to the store to show the key. Their explanation was I was "abusing" the use of my keys. Abusing as in punching the either lock or unlock my car. ABUSE?!?!?! How about rectifying the situation by either fixing the problem or replacing the defective service?! At first they offered to replace the key by offering me a $50 discount. Or waiting until whenever they need to order whatever it takes for them to "fix" a defective item from them. I work nights and rely on my door to be unlocked by the time I get in the car. To accuse me, a customer, of "abusing" a remote key is totally passing off the problem on the customer! I just want to have this problem resolved and the owner rectify and take pride in their business to the community by resolving this defective key because I "abuse" the use of it. Very disappointed by my experience and hope that this helps others.

I called to get a quote on car key replacements but the call quality was poor so I had to ask the representative to repeat what he said once or twice. The receptionist was very impatient and questioned my ability to speak English as a language. For example, when I asked for clarification on a quote, he said "if you listened to me and could understand English, I wouldn't need to repeat what I just said." As a native English speaker, this was quite jarring... I was shocked by how rude the service was and will definitely not be giving them my business.
