He was in training and was promised a work vehicle the following week. When he arrived as instructed, the boss did not answer calls or respond to texts for several hours until the end of the day. After making him wait and repeatedly trying to contact him, the boss claimed my brother's efforts were "not enough," which makes no sense considering he waited for hours and tried to communicate. He was then wrongfully terminated over this situation. Fortunately, my brother already had another job lined up with a company that appreciates his work. However, this situation could have been very difficult for someone who truly depended on this job for financial reasons. I would not recommend working here or doing business with them. In my opinion, they take advantage of people. Save your money and your time by going elsewhere. We do have documentation of what happened, but we believe that what goes around comes around.

In retrospect I realized that I have a history with this vendor as my company uses them for a multitude of things across multiple locations. Not every vendor makes it onto my radar, and the ones who do aren't for the most flattering reasons, but all my memories of utilizing Rolland at four different locations have been positive. The one that makes the most impact is probably when my old office was moving physical locations about five years ago. They installed my safe at the new location and I have mad respect for their patience with me. I had been working 7 days a week for 3 weeks in a row and was surrounded by other vendors so my ADD was on the fritz that day as we were down to the wire. They were one of two vendors that had it together and made sure to communicate seamlessly with me. There were also two occasions at two different offices where I needed to re-key the building due to missing keys. In both instances they responded timely and got the work done so fast it didn't distract from my busy day. This latest situation was a bit different as we needed to rekey the restrooms. My current office is an absolute disaster that wasn't maintained, which is mind boggling since the building is only about ten years old or so. I've been there a few months and I find something weird every week. I spoke to a lovely woman on the phone and realized I don't know a damn thing about restroom locks and what to call them. Not only did she follow my ridiculous description, she admitted she didn't have the knowledge of the name and referred to two other people there that were experts. She transferred me to Blake who was patient, an excellent communicator and took my situation seriously with the appropriate amount of urgency and follow up. In dealing with him I found out the specific lock I was looking for was called an entry lever. David then arrived, a day earlier than I initially expected and saw how busy I was. He took only a minute of my time having a very pleasant conversation and showing me the equipment he would be using. Seeing that I was swamped he showed himself to the restrooms and did the work very quickly. Then he waited for me to have some availability and showed me the different modes of the locks and actually taught me a few things about the types of businesses that need to utilize different locks. I was thrilled enough with that, but David also took it upon himself to fix a minor issue with both restroom doors. I had noticed that neither door closed all the way on its own, you had to actually pull it. This was the only office I had ever had this happen in but as I stated, the office is such a marvel of stupid little problems that wasn't even on my list of top 20 things to eventually fix. David explained it was a slight adjustment to the latch that was easy for him since he was already working on that part of the door (but was not part of the initial work order so he definitely went above and beyond) and such a little thing really made my day! My company uses them for a reason and I totally support that! I not only recommend Rolland for your commercial needs as a reliable vendor, but I would not hesitate to call them first if I had a personal need involving locks or a safe. Completely satisfied customer here! ** I do want to add that I saw the 3 negative reviews about being local locksmiths hired by the company. I cannot discount this as being true or false, I have dealt with many vendors over the years who end up sending a smaller business so I know that's not an uncommon practice. However, since my company signs visitors into a security log, I know from first hand experience that all the visits I mentioned were directly from Rolland employees in a Rolland embroidered shirt. My review is off my own experience with direct employees of this business in four different cities, though none were rural and that may or may not be the situation in the other reviews.
