From the original quote by Heidi to the delivery that was handled by Justin, Bradley, and Matt,…read morethis was the best move we've had! And we've moved across the country and back! This was an out-of-state delivery (to Connecticut). We were impressed by the professionalism at every step of the way. We didn't want to be surprised by "unexpected" additional costs when our furniture was delivered. Heidi's quote was higher than competitors but seemed much more reasonable compared with past moves. In the end, the final cost was a little lower than the estimate. More than fair cost for the value of the work done. Well done, Heidi! Justin, Matt, and Brad showed up promptly on the scheduled day to pack us. Polite, responsible -- and efficient! They packed boxes and protected the furniture well. They finished early enough to start loading the truck that day and came back the following day to finish loading. They arrived earlier than expected in Connecticut the following morning and unloaded very quickly. Furniture was positioned and reassembled as we wanted and boxes were placed in the correct locations. Amazing work! Nothing was lost. Nothing was broken. Despite the careful protection, there were minor scuff marks on a couple of pieces, but nothing worth trying to repair. On time, under budget, and in good order. It doesn't get better than that. Thanks, yet again, Heidi, Justin, Bradley, and Matt. Wonderful job. And we hope Heidi got some of Angelo's Italian cookies that we sent back with you. We don't plan to move again, but if we did, we would call Morways/ProMoving for the job.

Avoid Two Men and a Truck in Burlington, VT: use literally any other mover. They do not meet the…read morestandards of other Two Men and a Truck locations, and they cost me over $7,000 in damaged furniture, lost equipment, and doubled shipping costs because they packed the truck so poorly. It cost them over $2,000 to load a 2-bedroom house. The team that unloaded it in Minnesota - just $400. I've used Two Men and a Truck in Philadelphia with great results, nothing broken, kind and efficient, so when I needed to move to MN, I called the Burlington location. After being quoted around $20,000 for a full-service move, the manager suggested I save money by having them load a U-Pack truck instead. With U-Pack, you pay by the foot, so efficient vertical packing is critical. I estimated 13 feet, expecting to go slightly over. U-Pack assured me that with professional movers, I should come in close to the estimate. Instead, the Burlington crew packed everything flat, with no stacking--using 26 feet, double my estimate. Compare my photos to the ones in their own advertising. It's not even close. When the U-Pack driver arrived, he told me it was the worst packing job he had ever seen and asked if I had done it myself. He warned me that with nothing secured, my furniture would likely be destroyed in transit. The Two Men and a Truck team I hired to unload in Minnesota said the exact same thing--and told me repeatedly how sorry and ashamed they were that another Two Men and a Truck franchise had done this. To make it worse, the Burlington crew refused to load my elliptical (over $3,000), claiming the ramp wasn't safe after trying to lift it with straps. I had told them upfront it was heavy. They left it on my back patio with no way for me to move it back inside, hire another mover on no notice, or get it to storage. I sold it on Facebook for $180 just to unload it. Two older guys picked it up days later and loaded it onto a trailer in minutes, no trouble at all. The U-Pack driver's warning was right. When the truck was unloaded: * Dining chairs thrown in uncovered, completely scratched * Credenza with broken legs * Bookshelf with broken legs * Dresser mirror badly scratched from poor wrapping * Multiple boxes crushed by unsecured furniture, contents broken I called Mike at the Burlington location. He refunded part of the cost because the crew had also overcharged me--but when I told him what the U-Pack driver said, he brushed it off as the driver "covering himself" and insisted that since nothing was broken when it went in the truck, any damage was the driver's fault. That logic is absurd. If I set a coffee on the dashboard and it flies into my lap on the first turn, that's not the driver's fault--that's mine for putting it there unsecured. All in: roughly $7,000 lost between extra shipping, the abandoned elliptical, and damaged furniture. I've had excellent experiences with Two Men and a Truck in Rochester, MN, and Philadelphia. This is a Burlington-specific problem with zero accountability for their errors. Shop around. Do not use this location. You'll overcharge, lose furniture, and pay double for your U-Pack truck. Photos of the truck, the damage, and the abandoned elliptical are attached.

I frantically called Best In Class Moving (only three days before I had to have ALL of my stuff out of the apartment) and they were able to squeeze me in their schedule! They also gave me a quote the same day I called. Not only did they move everything out of my apartment (walking up and down a large staircase), they also helped me organized and pack my belongings into my small storage room beautifully. They wrapped up all of my fragile belongings, and handled everything with care. Not to mention, they did all of this within 2 hours. They went above and beyond any expectations. Because of how smoothly everything went with BICM, I decided to use these guys again for my move from the storage room they loaded to the new apartment. I put down the deposit the same day (three months early) for an upcoming move I had. After 2 months of putting down the deposit for the upcoming move, I wanted to call to ensure that we were still on schedule. I was nervous that they may somehow had forgotten (I am a big over- thinker), but my worries were put to rest when I called and the first thing they said on the phone was "hey Mia, we're excited to see you on the 1st". This moving company is honestly the best way to go. They are reliable, efficient, and affordable. The guys who work for this company are so friendly as well! So make sure to strike up a conversation with them. I will definitely be using them again, and will be giving their contact information to all my friends and family members.

They were extremely careful and the most polite movers my daughter, and I have ever experienced, and she's moved a lot! The truck was loaded and they finished packing on time even calling in additional help which I command James for greatly. We did the 6 Hour drive to New Jersey on Sunday and sure enough the truck showed up on time after they are 6 Hour drive. The move into her new apartment was a little difficult because the truck was about 100 yards from the elevator that was available, but they never complained once and even helped dispose of cardboard that wasn't their responsibility. My daughter and I unpacked her contents and no items were broken in a total of about 20 to 25 boxes with kitchen glassware and ceramic diplomas, etc. The best part of all was that the balance was $800 less than what was quoted because the workers finished hours earlier than expected. That was a nice thing for my daughter, considering expenses to move into a new place. I would recommend James and the Burlington moving company to anyone for a short or long distance move. Thank you again. !

We even got to have a nice chuckle when our cat thought hiding in the box spring was a good idea. I believe the mover said "I think your box spring just meowed" ;-) They stored our items overnight and everything was ready to go the next day. The 2nd day of moving it rained and was cold but you couldn't even tell. Movers had smiles on their faces and were happy to be helping us. Wonderful Experience, we will happily use them again :)

I called them because every other storage company in the area was full and had no units available. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant and after I gave her a debit card for payment, she told me that I had unit #720. She let me know that I would have to come by and sign paperwork at some point, buy a lock, and that I was all set to start putting stuff in the unit whenever I wanted to. 2 weeks or so later, my fiancé and I borrowed a truck, loaded heavy furniture into it, drove the 20 or so minutes to the storage unit, and when we get there, the unit is already in use with a lock on it. I've tried to call SEVERAL TIMES and the phone rings, then goes silent. I lost out on $75 that could have been put to use for final expenses, as my mom ended up passing away shortly after this. I'm severely disappointed. I would love to get my money back but I doubt that will happen.
