This was an out-of-state delivery (to Connecticut). We were impressed by the professionalism at every step of the way. We didn't want to be surprised by "unexpected" additional costs when our furniture was delivered. Heidi's quote was higher than competitors but seemed much more reasonable compared with past moves. In the end, the final cost was a little lower than the estimate. More than fair cost for the value of the work done. Well done, Heidi! Justin, Matt, and Brad showed up promptly on the scheduled day to pack us. Polite, responsible -- and efficient! They packed boxes and protected the furniture well. They finished early enough to start loading the truck that day and came back the following day to finish loading. They arrived earlier than expected in Connecticut the following morning and unloaded very quickly. Furniture was positioned and reassembled as we wanted and boxes were placed in the correct locations. Amazing work! Nothing was lost. Nothing was broken. Despite the careful protection, there were minor scuff marks on a couple of pieces, but nothing worth trying to repair. On time, under budget, and in good order. It doesn't get better than that. Thanks, yet again, Heidi, Justin, Bradley, and Matt. Wonderful job. And we hope Heidi got some of Angelo's Italian cookies that we sent back with you. When he and his crew arrived to load, they placed things in the truck without padding and without securing them with straps. We had to go in and place padding around furniture and secure, delicate items with straps. It was a nightmare. When the truck arrived at the destination, the Two Men And A Truck company who were unloading, opened the back and said what? Did the Packers hate them? They had placed very heavy items in the wrong order and had not put nearly enough protective blankets on things in spite of our best efforts to mitigate this. We lost pieces of furniture and it was all because this head loader didn't get a paid vacation to visit his parents.

They had contract confirmation info wrong and never corrected or clarified any details of the move accurately. Impossible to find another mover so last minute, we crossed our fingers, but still no one showed up at the appointed time. I frantically call CMS, then email - finally to be told the truck broke down and the guys had to find a rent-a-truck locally.... improperly trained and ill-informed, they were very surprised when I told them their destination was 2 1/2 hours away. Ultimately the move concluded more than 3 hours later than planned and was incredibly stressful on every level. I paid for the move in full on a credit card, but had to put stop pay on $100 deposit check during the time CMS never returned my calls or emails. Now he's threatening us about the deposit check saying he'll report us to credit bureau and take us to small claims court. All in all a horrid experience.

I called Benjamin based on the positive reviews he has, but at this point I'm wondering if they're even real reviews. He came out to our home and looked around, sent me a quote that evening, we agreed on a move date, and he said that he would email me a contract to sign. A week went by, no contract so I asked him about it...he said he'd get to it. Two weeks, no contract...by the third week I reached out again because we were a week out from our move - no response. My husband left a voicemail for him asking for confirmation...still no response. He just bailed on us with no communication a week out from our home closing, needing to be out of our home in peak summer moving season. If we wouldn't have reached out, and just trusted that he would be there...he just wouldn't have shown up!! I will caution everyone I know not to use Brave Moving. We've moved many times in our life...and have never had an experience as unprofessional as this!!!
