They've always been accommodating with I've had whether it be routine or an emergency dental problem. I'm so glad he is there so thankful to them. This 'so-called' medical office has only shown their unprofessionalism, their disrespect to patients, and their uncaring attitude - plus they bill under a doctor's name even though we never saw 'any' doctors there. They also did an X-ray and found that I had pneumonia. The doctor was very helpful and did his very best to treat me. He gave me antibiotics, and I am forever grateful. One of my visits was for a moderately embarrassing issue and the doctor and MA helped me feel comfortable and I didn't feel any sort of judgement from either of them. My concerns were addressed both times I visited this urgent care and my issues were resolved. This isn't the closest UC to my house at all (I don't even live in this city!), but if time allows, I would absolutely choose this office again. Which is violation of insurance provider contract. Today I get an explanation of benefits for treatment I did not rendered and PUC charged my insurance $500.00 and received a payment from my insurance for $200.65. Despite the provider stating their weak explanation for their actions this only proves my point they put business before patient care. This was no accident, despite being denied treatment, they turn around and bill my health insurance company for services NEVER rendered . That is bad billing practice. I am taking my complaints to the Better Business Bureau and my insurance company. I would seriously think about taking your business to Premium Urgent Care. And Sonya L business manager here is my personal message to you. Return your payment of $200.65 back to my insurance company. Dr. Nanra over saw my care while I was there and said if anything comes up come and see us. I decided to take him up on his offer today when I woke up to some questionable symptoms. They had me in and out within an hour (unheard of for urgent care as busy as them, especially with them also being a primary care clinic.) the clinic is clean, the staff is friendly and they are very on top of it. The doctor listened to my history and what led up to today and took all of that into consideration with his treatment options. I will definitely be returning here for my urgent care needs. I'm happy that I have the option to go here if anything urgent arises and know that they care about their patients. Thank you golden state!!!

TLDR: Dr Kerr and the staff at this urgent care are 10/10 fantastic, they are amazing!!!!…read more Firstly, I was shocked to find an urgent care that had such a high rating. Most medical facilities struggle to keep good reviews because lack of staffing cause long wait times and quick interactions. Secondly, I was shocked that the urgent care wasn't extremely busy and that I was brought into the back within 15 minutes of my arrival. Thirdly, I was so so IMPRESSED with how kind, and just happy my doctor was. I don't meet too many doctors who really strike a cord with me, but DR.KERR was genuinely just such a nice doctor. I was seen for a kidney infection, I knew the symptoms, had experienced them a year before, after a quick urine test he agreed. He said he'd prescribe a tablet to take once a day for 10 days, if I experienced fever to go to the ER. I asked if he knew how fast the CVS right next door would possibly fill that prescription (dumb question-that isn't something most doctors are really going to know, but I have word vomit sometimes) and he said it could take anywhere from an hour to longer. He asked if I ever used them before and I said no. He then said he wanted to give me an antibiotic shot that would at least cover me for 24 hours in case they didn't get the prescription filled that night, which was AMAZING. He didn't have to do that at all. I am so thankful that he did, though. CVS didn't get the prescription filled until late. I went to bed in a lot of pain due to the kidney infection, but that shot did it's job and by this morning I am as good as new!!!!! I'm still going to grab my prescription after work today, because following the treatment plan all the way through is how it gets fixed and doesn't just flare back up in a couple days, but I cannot express how fantastic Dr. Kerr and really ALL of the staff was.

I wait over an hour plus and still no one has called me, people who are arriving after me are getting their name called and being seen. So I go up and talk with a different receptionist and she asked if I've talked to anyone once I arrived. I answered "yes" and she proceeds to hand me papers to "check me in". I asked her if this was paper work that I've should have filled out upon arrival and she answers "yes". The quality of care and attention to detail is poor at this office, I should not nor anyone else for that matter be overlooked for care because a receptionist failed to follow procedure. There was no hesitation -- they recognized the seriousness of the situation immediately and took fast, decisive action. In one of the scariest moments of my life, the staff stayed calm, focused, and compassionate. Their quick response and expertise made all the difference. The receptionist was nice and helpful. The place is quiet, clean and lots of seating. There were a few people ahead of us, took approximately 30 minutes to get in and total maybe 2 hours. They gave a diagnosis and prescription to pick up. They also offered a shot (forgot which pain med it was) for the pain which was helpful. The toe wasn't broken and they bandaged it up and gave her a protective open toe shoe to wear. I felt they took good care of us.
