It would not lock and there was a breeze flowing through. When the locks were SHOVED into place on one side, the window still popped up, and it wasn't air tight. He gaslights his customers and NEVER admits HE made a mistake. He had to go out to his car to get a tool to fix it, twice, but then went on to tell ME, I close the window too hard, and the glass will break, as why he installed the window CROOKED? He blamed us for HIM NOT caulking, claiming "your house is old?" WHAT IS THAT? They made him come back after he said: "I get paid $65.00/per window, I don't get paid to caulk." Zack made him come back and caulk, so he used, unpaintable caulk to prove my assessment of him. (a jerk) I even sanded it and the paint doesn't take. The windows themselves are fine. Disagreeable installer is the downfall of this business. He cannot admit fault, which makes him a narcissist. They claim, "that just his personality." Keep his mannerless behind off my property. He should NEVER BLAME THE CUSTOMER for his short comings. I'll never call them again and we were going to put in (2) more basement windows, that will now go to another business. read more

Terrible Say they come and waited all day then they call they will come next day . They postponed the following day also . They give you a time they will come and never show up . Not reliable would not use them ! Surprised they are in business .. Would not use them if you value people who keep there word . Note there is the same complaint in Better business review .. Action EXCEEDS expectations of contractors. We actually had to wait nearly 6 months after the estimate to place the order and when we finally were able to call them back, Zack had all the paperwork and still remembered everything we wanted. Update to July 10th. They got in touch with me after I posted my review, and promptly made an appointment to measure the panes of glass which needed replacement. Zack came out and measured, after which he told us it would be about 3 weeks to have the glass made to order. He came back out this morning at the time he said he would, and did a good job installing the replacement panes. They were very pleasant and professional. Update, 08/01/16....Just wanted to provide an update for anyone researching new windows. Everything has been great. After nearly one year, through heat, cold, storms these windows and the slider have been Great! Windows operate perfectly and have performed excellently. So easy to clean and use,... workmanship has been as great as expected through heat, cold and storms. No problems. Still highly recommend Action Windows to all consumers..... From last year..... We have a smaller scale, two-story condo. We had been researching for several months; had demonstrations and estimates. We just added nine double hung windows, one larger 3-casement and one smaller 2-casement window and a patio sliding door a month ago. Windows by OKNA, installed by ACTION WINDOWS. We could not be more satisfied. Haven't had to replace windows for years, so we were in strange waters. Finally decided on the windows and ordered them. Then you think, 'okay, the windows are only as good as the installation.' I was never disappointed with Action Windows at all, from start to finish. The installers were neat, thorough, performed quality work in re-framing the windows, the interior and exterior trim, and even the caulking was done with care, precision and detail. Never a doubt or worry now after watching this crew work. The windows have been GREAT! I was so tired and frustrated with our old windows. I don't think being this happy over new windows is necessarily a "Guy Thing" but I am truly very happy and have total piece of mind. We could have gone cheaper,...but so glad I didn't. It isn't worth the nightmare having poor quality material or workmanship. The price was reasonable, well worth it and we have a good warranty.
