**Warning** I would not go to this chiropractor if you had neck or spine surgery. I told him twice to not adjust my neck (with 6 fused vertebra) I had protected my neck from whiplash and jarring for the last 18 years. The First thing he did was take his pounding gun to the back of my neck. I stopped him. At another visit he then uses a dropdown table ON MY NECK!! Because of that whiplash that he gave me. My head no longer sits even on my neck. I have more pronounce left side curve so I cannot move or bend my head and neck. Yes. YES. Let me start off by saying I do NOT get cracked...at all, by anyone, ever. I HATE the idea of a chiropractor, and massage therapy always is painful and sucks. Holy COW, I couldn't speak the opposite of this place. Let's be real...it's kind of a sketchy looking building, I first went in because I called off google for a "walk in" available place because I thought I was having a heart attack I was in so much pain. My friends and family insisted it was not in my chest but in my back and I needed to get "cracked". After MUCH hesitance, I went in and seen Dr Mundt (Doc), and was literally crying after my adjustment because of how gentle he was during the process, how empathetic he was to my wineyness and how much better I felt, literally INSTANTLY after sitting up off the table. He even called me, personally the next day, just to check in. As for the massage, I have been to massage therapy a handful of times in my life due to injuries, car accidents etc. and they SUCK. It's painful, the therapist are usually very NON empathetic and rough because "this isn't SUPPOSE to be a fun massage"....well...duh, but still. After a pinched nerve injury on day of pain number 13 I decided to see Adam, here at Active. WOW. He absolutely has the hands of a professional therapist but the bedside manner of an asian massage house lady. lol He was thoughtful, kind, considerate, complimentary and even making jokes during the massage to try to help ease the painful process. With gentle but firm hands and intentions I felt, just as he said, like I had been run over the next day, but about 85% better the following day. Dr. Mundt and Adam are always welcoming, personable, funny and obviously actually care about who they are taking care of. I refuse to be cracked or rubbed by anyone other than these men.....(you know what I mean...). I highly recommend and would give more than 5 stars if I could! read more

My first visit was a living day-mare {because it happened during the day} The cross and bible visible is a hoax, because the doctor seemed anything but Christian. He came in to the room for the consult and slammed his clip board on the desk and abruptly and loudly proclaimed "Hi I'm Dr. Herstad how are we doing today?!" Jarred, all I thought was yikes, this man is going to kill me. Of course my husband and I went back, and he is much too strong. I am petite and cannot handle someone pushing my leg off the table at full force to stretch my illiopsoas muscle an attempt to reduce my hip pain, but it only made it worse. Horrible place, this doctor obviously ran his course and is ready for a change in professions. read more
