Going back to what was once a great gym has been very disappointing!…read more * Jacuzzi is consistently cold and unpleasant. * Shower water is always cold * Floors are frequently flooded with standing water * Bathrooms have leaks, strong odors, and unsanitary conditions * Broken doors and damaged toilet seats * Towels are old, discolored, and unhygienic I gave three stars only because the equipment is good and the classes are well-managed and run smoothly. I hope these issues are addressed soon. If not, I will be forced to cancel my membership.

That then makes one of the stretching areas unusable. They also have swim team after work and school hours so you are sharing a pool with toms of young kids. It's dirty in bathrooms, the sinks are always dirty, all bathroom floors are wet, and showers are covered in hair. Disgusting! their cleaning people pass over issues rather than handling. Not to mention the fact weights are always missing and we have basketball courts making it so loud your noise cancelling headphones still won't block it out. You also can't get through to equipment unless you cross behind the courts so hopefully you can catch a ball. Also pretty sure the AC doesn't work at all. The one good part is the GM there is always kind but their upper management seriously needs to fix these issues or just close the gym at this point. It's embarrassing

The coaches are super encouraging and do a great job guiding you through the slow, controlled movements that make Solidcore so effective. The Mosaic location is also a huge plus. There's ample parking in the garage, and it's free for a few hours, which makes getting in and out stress-free. After class, you're right in the heart of Mosaic District with tons of great spots to grab a smoothie, coffee, or a full meal--perfect for a post-workout reward. Highly recommend this location for both the workout and the convenient, lively atmosphere around it!

I love the coaches in the Mosaic location (I haven't been to other locations). I am a total beginner to pilates-like classes and the reformer machine. I took ~3 foundation classes to get started and I felt like the instructors were all so great at helping me improve my form to get the best workout possible. I feel pushed but not shamed into challenging myself. They sell towels and water if you happen to forget to bring either. I feel like a sweat a mild-moderate amount and I don't think a towel is absolutely necessary. Water is probably a good idea - but the class is pretty fast-paced so not a ton of time for water breaks anyway. Now that I'm hooked, I typically do ~2 classes/week. I like the early AM classes (but they fill up fast!). I feel like this gym is clean and compact. I get exactly what I need out of it. There aren't showers so plan accordingly if you have plans afterwards (it's a good sweat!) I like their Public Goods toiletries and have even bought some myself after using them at this gym. Awesome location, awesome coaches, and awesome workout :)!

If you are looking to go to an OTF in northern Virginia, I would go elsewhere…read more I signed up with a founders rate at another local OTF studio whose opening has been delayed - I'm supposed to get a free HR monitor when it opens. I had been a member back in Chicago pre-pandemic 2.5 years ago, but gave it up due to COVID concerns. They checked and since it was over 6 months, I was eligible for the founders rate. Given the delays, they were able to secure a temporary membership for 1-2 months with their sister studio at the regular price, but said I could go anywhere, so I've been going to Dunn Loring, as it's the closest one to my work. My home studio said I could borrow a HR monitor until i received mine when they open- I called Dunn Loring and confirmed this was true, I went about 10x without issue, borrowing and returning the HR monitor after the class. Then on Thanksgiving Day, I walked in for the 7am 90 min class and the sales associate told me they couldn't let me borrow a HR monitor anymore. She said they had "found out" that I was a member in Chicago (2+ years ago, where I lived previously) and now the sister studio temporary membership, and that they never should have let me borrow a HR monitor and that I "had cost them about $200 in revenue at this point". They went on to say that they had called my new home studio -- but oddly didn't bother to email me or call me at that point, instead throwing accusations at me on THANKSGIVING MORNING and trying to make it seem like I did something dishonest and sketchy when I literally did nothing wrong. I find working out to be pretty intimidating and enjoyed the friendly OTF community. I really liked the coaches and how close it was to my job, but that encounter soured the entire experience for me. OTF was great stress relief for me, but I can't imagine walking past that hostile front desk ever again. I emailed afterwards and cc'd both my new home studio and the Dunn Loring studio - even though my new studio was wonderful and reassuring the experience there will be different, there has been radio silence from Dunn Loring. Anyway there are a ton of studios in the area and it's probably better to visit another one instead.
