Going back to what was once a great gym has been very disappointing! * Jacuzzi is consistently cold and unpleasant. * Shower water is always cold * Floors are frequently flooded with standing water * Bathrooms have leaks, strong odors, and unsanitary conditions * Broken doors and damaged toilet seats * Towels are old, discolored, and unhygienic I gave three stars only because the equipment is good and the classes are well-managed and run smoothly. It's super dirty on all machines and I hope you like soccer practice because they share a facility after work hours with soccer teams. That then makes one of the stretching areas unusable. They also have swim team after work and school hours so you are sharing a pool with toms of young kids. It's dirty in bathrooms, the sinks are always dirty, all bathroom floors are wet, and showers are covered in hair. Disgusting! their cleaning people pass over issues rather than handling. Not to mention the fact weights are always missing and we have basketball courts making it so loud your noise cancelling headphones still won't block it out. You also can't get through to equipment unless you cross behind the courts so hopefully you can catch a ball. Also pretty sure the AC doesn't work at all. The one good part is the GM there is always kind but their upper management seriously needs to fix these issues or just close the gym at this point. It's embarrassing read more

Was a member for over a year. I canceled in November 2025, its march and i just got charged 280$. They have predatory practices. Ive gone to the BBB and will be pushing it further. Buyer beware. They are fine as long as you keep paying them. And i emailed you at that address over a week ago and you never replied. Soooooooo yeah. It's all of corporate including the owner. Its fine. Otherwise: - Filthy CARPETED locker room (P.U.!) - Sparse, rusty old gym equipment (cardio room is good), inadequate selection of weights and machines - Wacky field-house layout where you are dodging flying basketballs to get from one end of gym to the other That somebody has the nerve to charge $60 or whatever per month to use this place is shameful. I've been a member here for 18 months and I can honestly say I LOVE it. The facility is consistently spotless, which is a huge deal for me. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can tell the equipment is well-maintained and high-quality--they have everything you need for any type of training. The lap pool, outdoor lounge pool, sauna and steam room make it feel like you're at a spa. A huge shoutout to the Assistant Manager, Terry, who is absolute best! I went to this gym location today and had a really disappointing experience. I'm a young Black member, and I've visited this location multiple times before with no issues at all. But today, the staff stopped me at the door and said my membership didn't include access here -- even though it has never been a problem in the past. It felt unfair and inconsistent, and honestly, the way it was handled made me really uncomfortable. If there's a policy change, members should be informed clearly, not turned away at the door. I had a truly horrible experience at the Tysons OneLife back in 2023-2024 before the change of ownership. I haven't been back as some of the toxic staff from *before* are apparently still working there. I had been going to this facility, under different company names, on and off for decades. It was a very upscale club back in the day but wow, did it ever go downhill! Issues I had were with the management and some very rude staff members. They did a lousy job of enforcing their rules and if a member complained about things like rampant phone use in the locker rooms, where privacy was nonexistent, they then blame/ target the member that dared to make the complaint. Mobile phone use is prohibited in locker rooms for a good reason as they have cameras built into them. Those who like taking photos of themselves in locker rooms could inadvertently capture other members in a state of undress and post said pictures on social media. There was also a problem with opposite sex children over a certain age coming in the women's locker room. Situations like these caused friction between members as there was rarely a female staff member to intervene. It should be noted that one male staff member at the front desk prided himself on *fake dialing* the police to *report members* if they wanted them to leave the premises. This was straight up abuse and should never have been tolerated. All this drama wasn't helped by the manager having the water pressure in the showerheads reduced to the point that rinsing soap or hair products off was extremely difficult. The locker rooms were a mess if the cleaning lady was off duty. And finally, most of the lap lanes at the pool get rented out to swim teams during prime hours, or they are reserved for swim lessons at varying times of the day so if you joined the club to swim, it is very frustrating. read more

I have been a member at the Tysons Onelife for years. Overall it has been a nice experience. HOWEVER! Recently, the management changed the cleaning crew, cut back hours on longtime, loyal cleaning members. The RESULT? I walked in last Saturday morning at 7:00 and the locker rooms/showers were filthy. Trash overflowing, dirty towels everywhere, carpet and shower floors had dirt and hair everywhere. It was disgusting. It is upsetting to be in that environment when it had been spotless before the employee change. Management will not listen to patrons. Go find a clean facility. read more

In particular, I recommend Ben Liam, Brooke Terry Jennifer, and all the EP trainers. Just wear some sandals in the locker rooms to be safe. better than McLean one life that's for sure since all their attitudes are absolute garbage and they ain't got any social skills. Buyer beware! This gym located near the Tysons Boro has a decent parking lot and occupies a large office building. Although it has curb appeal based on a fitness center, pool, and basketball courts, there is something unsavory and sleazy about the business practice of this gym. When Crunch Fitness closed in July 2021 due to the pandemic, the gym transferred my frozen monthly membership to Tysons Sport & Health. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, legacy Crunch Fitness memberships were not charged any fees in 2021. When OneLife Fitness took over the business operations of Tysons Sport and Health, they began to activate my old credit card (but did not tell me I was being charged). This went on for several months until I noticed these small charges on my billing statement. It was difficult to disenroll from the gym. I had to go in person to the front desk, they provided the email address of an outside organization (corporate, I guess), and then I had to complete another form. They make it easy to sign up for a membership, but dis-enrolling requires a lot of effort. Also, with their "free" guest passes, beware! They may require you to pay a mandatory $20 daily guest fee at any time to "convert" you into a full-fledged member. It's quite arbitrary what this gym does. Perhaps the corporate office has a strict minimum enrollment target every month. Regardless, there is a hint of unsavory business practices under the surface here. Buyer beware! This Onelife Tysons is in an uncomfortable position, leaving its members to suffer through a difficult time, if indeed this gym's difficulty is just temporary. This gym is due to move within 2 yrs (new location unknown) because the building that houses it will be torn down. Major repairs are currently needed (e.g., the showers.... it is a challenge to find one that can stream warm/hot water reliably, or at all), and 26North, the private equity firm that owns Onelife, is not addressing the issue that has gone on for perhaps 4 mos already. The formerly wonderful pool is still well-maintained but has gotten uncomfortably crowded. This Onelife was built to house "Sporting Club" (NOT "Sport & Health or Onelife). At some point Sport & Health took ownership and then sold it to 26North for a Onelife. The original club was very upscale, which explains some of its existing features. I expect Onelife Tysons, should 26North allow it to have a future, will be like any other low end club once it moves -- just one with some superficial attractions. Some great staff, but they are not stupid -- I suspect they are beginning to see the writing on the wall, just as some of the members are. read more

Been here several times. As a member of the club, they have numbers ones in the DC area. This one is my least favorite. Is it due to the staff? Not a chance as they're very friendly. Here it starts with the parking garage. Maybe if I drove a small car or motorcycle I'd like it. There's very little room down here. Also I'm not enamored with the "corporate" feel. This club was obviously in a office building, and I like working out in a gym environment. Sure they have the machines, pools, and a basketball court. Yet everything is spaced out. This also detracts from my ability to separate fitness and work time. If in the area it works, yet I've found their other ones to be better. read more

Yes!! Yes!! Lori Mann, and swim/spin/Pilates instructor, has been super .. SUPER helpful! I have been dealing with serious nerve pain - utilizing the Jackson Clinic for PT - working with them we were able to set up a swimming/spin/Pilates program that has helped me not only keep moving but improve on my range of motion and improve on my strength and mobility. In a recent analysis by the Jackson Clinic it was noted that working with Lori I was from 18% or my range to 65%. I am SO grateful for the OneLife and Jackson Clinic co-sharing a space .. but the best of the BEST was to have someone like Lori, with her dedication/commitment to her craft/talent/knowledge be available to work with me through the entire process. A person would be hard pressed to find someone as qualified and committed. Take anyone of of her classes or a one-on-one and you'll see what she had a dedicated following. read more

Save yourself the headache and do NOT join this gym. I stuck it out for a year before finally cancelling. 1. It's filthy- I mean there are spaces in that gym that have probably never been cleaned. Towels are dirty, locker rooms smell like mildew. 2. Parking is a nightmare. It is in a small, tight garage that is not attached to the gym and requires a ticket validation. If you park in the spots conveniently located in front of the gym you WILL be towed. 3. During peak hours in the evening, expect to see 30-40 pre-teen girls training in the already small gym space and their backpacks will be thrown around everywhere. When you bring up a concern about this you will be told that the gym is making a lot of money off of that training so nothing will change. 4. Most importantly leadership is NONEXISTENT. Staff (aside from one-Terry) and trainers are rude, unfriendly and look miserable. There is absolutely no customer service. The lack of leadership is evident in every aspect of how this gym functions, especially how members are treated. Pay a little extra to join a neighboring gym, on Route 7, and see how a gym with Leadership is run. It is night and day. read more

I have been a member of Onelife Fitness Tysons for several years now. I like the gym for its proximity to my home, pool, variety of equipment (full disclosure - some of the equipment I use is dated, creaky, and rusty), and diverse membership. Over the past few months, I have noticed a decline in the cleanliness of the facilities and equipment. This morning, while I was there working out, one piece of equipment had debris around it that looked like it came off someone's sneaker/shoes. There were caked clumps of mud, and what looked like fecal matter because of smearing on the floor right next to the machine. Someone had definitely tracked something in. Okay, these kinds of things happen now and then- and can be easily fixed. I let the front desk staff person know. He said he would alert the cleaning crew. Twenty minutes later, I went back to the machine hoping it would be clean for use. I found it in the same condition. When I returned to the front desk for follow up, the staff was visibly annoyed by my question. He suggested that the cleaning crew may be busy doing other things, and was generally dismissive and defensive during our exchange; it was uncomfortable and awkward. This wasn't my first bad experience. I have found that some staff at OneLife who are in member facing roles, who are there to make us feel welcome, seem to have the opposite effect. I have tried to address this concern in a past OneLife survey. I get that it may be hard to find reliable staff with people skills. From a member experience standpoint, this type of front desk and customer experience makes returning to this gym, less positive and more awkward. Management can offer basic training to front desk staff on etiquette and professionalism (e.g., greet member when they arrive with a hi, hello, good morning etc. To this day, one staff member I regularly see at check in has never proactively greeted me; I have always needed to initiate the greeting. Or when there's a question or observation from a member, hold off from being dismissive and issue a quick apology that something in the environment seems to be off the normal, and let the member know respectfully, that it will be addressed as soon as possible. These simple gestures could go a long way). Given the increasing state of disrepair, lack of care about providing a clean, hygienic environment, and overall unfriendly customer service orientation of staff I see on a regular basis, I will look for other gyms in the area. read more

Big mistake starting a membership here. The facilities are fine, parking is difficult, but to them it is all about the $$$ and not about the customer. In June, I went in on a guest pass to decide if I want to become a member and I was pressured to sign up within 15 minutes for a discount (the discount applied then and only then). Terry also told me that he would give me a free month if I wrote a good review, so I did. Then he offered me a free shirt. I reminded him that he promised me a free month, so after many communications he told me my free month would "most likely" be applied to August. It was not. After many more communications I realized that I will not be getting that free month, so I took my good review down. I signed up thinking I could cancel anytime, like most places. I learned that you can only cancel after being a member for ONE YEAR. I was never informed of this and of course I didn't read the fine print since I was within the last few minutes of discount time. You would think they'd tell you that you have to be a member for an entire year (unless you want to pay an outrageous fee for "breaking the contract"). Also, the monthly membership fee is not at all worth it - $53 monthly when there are many better gyms in the area. I contacted the manager explaining that I am a college student and can't afford to keep this membership, nor was I informed about the stipulations. To paraphrase, I was told "sorry it's company policy." So don't make the same mistake as me. read more

I have been a member at this location for over ten years and I will tell anyone stay away from it because of the new general manager. As a member of all the onelife clubs, Equinox, and Lifetime fitness, I am here to tell anyone to stay away from this facility. While training with my girlfriend and her 11 year old son, I was told I wasn't allowed to give instruction because I wasn't a licensed trainer. I was simply timing there crunches and I was told unless I was doing it with them I needed to stop. Ridiculous and stupid. There is not liability in timing crunches and I had already done abs earlier in the day. He was rude and confrontational and when I went to speak with him about the incident in his office, I was told that I should not try to find a loophole, like i was being paid to train my girlfriend and her son. It was absolutely disgusting behavior, an insult and completely out of line, So any family thinking of joining this facility, please stay away. read more

DO NOT sign up!! This is the first time I am writing a Yelp review and I wish I could give this location zero stars. I've never interacted with such rude staff members before. The LAST thing I want to deal with at a gym is to be gaslighted, silenced, and dismissed by staff members of all people. I have had MULTIPLE instances with different staff members where they were dismissive, and condescending. I have never felt more uncomfortable and intimidated in a facility and I hope they do some serious rehiring. As a college student, I was shocked by the tone I was met with for asking simple questions about the gym. I have access to many D1 athletes and a social media fanbase who are looking for a new gym in the area and will ENSURE none of them sign up for this embarrassment of a facility or any OneLife gyms. They should fire Assistant General Manager Shane Hill for his terrible attitude. He was even rude to a friend who signed up for a day pass and was interested in a membership, ultimately turning him off as well. I've been too scared to go workout to be checked-in by staff members who have scoffed at me, despite the gym being two minutes from where I live. It was such a waste of a year, as I was stuck in a contract, and I wish I could get my money back. It makes me sad to write this review because this gym is really convenient for me (I even went to this location when it was Sports & Health Club before the rebrand, so I've been a longtime supporter!), but it's not worth shattering my confidence or receiving verbal abuse right at the door. I know this gym is going to go bankrupt soon because there's no way they have enough members, which is why they have so many hidden fees, binding contracts, and high rates. There are so many better gyms in the area for better prices, cleaner facilities, and nicer staff. Join Onelife fitness about a month ago. Tried 24 hour fitness after leaving Lifetime fitness. Was given the tour by Terry. This gentleman is a great asset. He's a true professional! Terry walked me through the entire club pointing out where everything was located. He took his time. Asked me several times if I had any questions throughout the tour. No hard sale. Wow! Another packed Zumba class with Teresa--what a fantastic experience! In my opinion, Teresa's Zumba class is one of the best at One Life Fitness Tysons. The Zumba team here is outstanding, and the person in charge of the Zumba program deserves thanks for their expertise in hiring only the best instructors. Teresa's class is excellent, offering tons of participation opportunities to all her students. You can see how eager students are to join her on stage, including me . also the grace and energy she brings to each session is truly special. With around 30 participants today (and sometimes even more), it felt like a Master Class. It would be wonderful to see more Teresa's Zumba classes like this at One Life Fitness Tysons! read more

Teresa Torres is hands down one of the best Zumba instructors we've ever had the pleasure of dancing with - her professionalism and infectious enthusiasm make every class a blast.
