Miguel is highly professional, timely, courteous, super knowledgeable in his craft, a great communicator, uses top of the line equipment and helped me host one of the most amazing parties I have ever hosted! I am a Zumba Fitness Instructor and have been in the fitness industry for over 3 years, hosting many Masterclasses over that time. Every year in the month of October there is one event that stands out above the rest because it is a fundraising event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. I have always used the same DJ for this event until he moved to the East Coast this year. As you can imagine I was worried about being able to find another DJ that I could trust to help me execute my vision for this important event through music, which is the entire focus of the party. Miguel eased my worry as soon as I spoke to him over the phone, he understood what I wanted to do and assured me he was the right man for the job. He was right! During the event, the music never stopped and the transitions were flawless, just as I had requested. I provided him the complete playlist and he played each song seamlessly and effortlessly. Miguel had great energy, style, attitude and demeanor and rocked the party with myself and the 2 other Instructors the entire duration of the event. We had over 150 people in attendance and everyone raved about Miguel after the event saying what a talented and cool DJ he was. I am so proud and honored to have had him at our Breast Cancer Awareness Masterclass and look forward to working with him again. So pleased to have used Active Sounds, Inc. as our wedding DJ and Photo booth! Their equipment is state of the art. My guests were going crazy in the photo booth, which prints multiple copies quickly and has creative, clean dress-up items. We had up-lighting around the room as well as our names cast in a spotlight which added a fantastic touch of decoration to our reception. Miguel has the best presence on the mic that I have ever heard/seen. My guests kept complimenting me on my DJ and how awesome the music was. He really set the vibe for our reception! Miguel was our DJ at our wedding. He was great. He was attentive and we were able to make a play list. I wanted certain music at my wedding because I wanted a certain ambience. Obviously there has to be flexibility because he was able to include my requests and at the same time add song as well and included music that the crowd seemed to want to hear. It was great. My guests danced the night away! We highly recommend him. He guided the wedding very well. He was dressed formal for the wedding and was very professional. Miguel did a great job with my wedding on June 14, 2015 at villa de amore. He played all the songs I had asked him to on my playlist, and kept the energy of the guests going all night. When the wedding was over my guests started chanting for one more song, because no one wanted to leave. He also was great prior to the wedding in terms of communicating with my husband and I. He helped us to organize a video to be played on a projector that we rented and was very prompt in replying to us. I am very happy he was part of our wedding and made it amazing. read more

Johnny did an amazing job! He showed up had everything set up in about 20 to 30 minutes. He kept people dancing and entertained. Any requests were met with no hesitation. Played everything from country to rock n roll to modern music. Very pleased with active sounds. Wow!!! They always say when planning a wedding their are three important things! The dress, the people you invite, and the music!!! and I must say Miguel nailed the music! It was exactly what my husband and I wanted. We were able to compile a list of songs and request and seamlessly Miguel was able to feel out what we were looking for! Miguel did our wedding at the Veranda at Green River Golf Club. He was the preferred vendor for our wedding site and I had found him on weddingwire.com. I didn't know what to expect, but it all turned out SO awesome and I would definitely recommend him for any event. This was our second wedding as we had gotten married abroad, so it was something we really wanted to turn out well since it was for my side of the family and close friends. Miguel knew all the songs to play, when to announce things, and how to make everyone feel comfortable while still maintaining an elegant ambience.
