Everything was WRONG n not up to code. A tub drain was wide open going straight into my crawl space. We had 4-6in water in the crawl space The sellers were flippers and had hired a unlicensed plumber to do the work without permits. Lesson learn do your homework. Ric refunded our money because he knew he was wrong but that $385 isn't a drop for the stress, inconvenience, headaches n financial burden it put on my family. We would NEVER recommend this company.

UPDATED: Ric's team came out and did a follow up inspection the same day as closing to confirm builder fixes - found more issues and helped us decide to push closing. In this process with a builder, Ric is really in our corner and it's apparent he's reviewing it as if it were his own home! A true professional!

They will be very specific and detailed write ups. They give pics/descriptions of every system, where it is, and recommended future mx. Overall it was a solid report. I will say that the analysis of the roof was done with binoculars and they forgot the metal fence in the back yard which did have a broken knob that won't allow the gate to open or close. Just walked through after they were done and everything was as advertised minus a good roof analysis and the fence. Price was higher than expected but so is everything in todays market.

Her inspection was notably different from my first home inspector... Home inspection was thorough and non-disruptive. I was home the whole time and she was quiet and polite when needing to get into my space as I worked. She used a drone to get roof pictures. She went into the attic. Infrared pictures verified that I was just imagining a draft through certain walls. She found at least a dozen things my initial inspector did not. The report was provided same day. The radon report was MUCH better than my prior inspection. She gave me the reading minutes after picking up her equipment. The report also included every reading from the 1 hour intervals so I could see exactly how the level changes over the day. Megan actually talked to us about tips on how to manage certain things in the home and seemed happy to do it. My prior inspector literally didn't plan on talking to us about anything - wanting to say everything would be in the report. Megan is the home inspector I WISH we had hired for the original home inspection... but if you're like us, it's not too late to hire her before your home warranty is up!

Unfortunately when Bannon Home Inspection decided not to fully inspect our crawl space they missed extensive damage that cost my wife and I over $30,000 to repair. We filed a claim with Bannon's insurance but they would not cover a cent. Although Shaun admitted wrong doing, their contract states they would not be financially responsible for egregious mistakes like this. Very upsetting and disappointing experience.
