At First the PT was very helpful and so was Dr. Wong. After a while other Therapists were assigned and Dr Wong rarely asked about anything. Too Busy I guess. Not much was accomplished and we were told that Our Insurance reguired us to stop for a period of time. When we returned we had a the BEST PT there in Mr. G He was amazing and so Very Helpful. The Office Staff Other Staff that did the TENS etc were really great & Very Helpful. But again we ere told in even much less time that we could NO longer get PT and had to Stop again. Spoke to Insurance and was told that they were still covering our PT and that this was NOT true. WE had our Physicians Authorization and if we needed more then another Authorization would be given. Mr. Wong told us we had to leave or we could stay & pay out of Pocket when our Insurance stopped Paying! We reported this to our Insurance . We have stopped going & will NOT return to be treated so badly. It would seem Dr. Wong only wants to get paid out of Pocket rather than deal with Insurances. IWe feel he was totally disinterested & Our Insurance was going to stop(which the Insurance told Us that was Not true) but we could stay and then get Billed Directly . We have left! Acuphysio Acupuncture and Physical Therapy Is my favorite. My mother went for knee pain and while accompanying her to the visits I saw firsthand the staffs professionalism and care. I recently gave birth and started to have immense pain in my wrist, my ob said it's carpel tunnel and would go away. I wore a wrist brace for a few weeks but the pain was unbearable and hurt so much when all I wanted to do was hold my daughter. I made an appointment and Dr. Wong was great! Acupuncture, cupping and physical therapy helped with the pain and swelling! After the first session, I stopped wearing the wrist brace and immediately felt relief! Would have given 1 star but the physical therapist was attentive and did seem caring in providing aid. Reason why it is two stars is because of the people at the front desk, I was asked to receive authorization from my insurance AFTER I already had an appt which has never been an issue before but having worked in multiple medical offices before I know it's the receptionists job to receive authorization from the insurance not the patient. However I did as instructed, called my insurance and they were just as confused as I was as to why I was calling when I was already approved for the full calendar year. I called the office back to relay this message and was told I would "receive a call back when the billing dept comes in" it's now been 3 days and I haven't received any call so I guess the billing dept is lost somewhere in the Himalayan mountains. Terrible service, receptionist workers need some proper training on how to get work done. read more

35 years of back pain have been virtually wiped out by Dr. Wong's amazing acupuncture treatments. Within the first 6 treatments my pain was gone. I suffered for more than 3 decades from nerve damage from a car accident. Recently I considered back surgery, but it comes with a huge risk that fortunately I don't have to take anymore. I can't thank Dr. Wong enough! I have suffered from chronic migraine for 31 years, I usually have daily facial pain and pain behind my eyes and temples, acupuncture has taken me from everyday pain and taking medication everyday to taken no medication and so far no pain no migraine in two weeks! Dr. Wong & his exceptional & courteous staff are extremely proficient & diligent in their attention to detail and particularness. I have extreme bone on bone arthritis in both knees and in my right hip. The pain was initially so severe that it was problematic to even sleep at night let alone walk or drive without severe discomfort. I had previously & am presently a patient at the N.Y. Hip & Joint Specialists in Manhattan. Injections & eventual surgery were recommended. I have a love for the East & their traditions in all aspects & decided to give acupuncture a chance. Dr. Wong's treatment regiment along with P/T has alleviated an incredible amount of pain & stress on my body & psyche. My range of motion has increased tremondously and my pain has considerably diminished. Surgery is not an option at the present moment. I went to see Dr. Wong because I had severe back pain. Walked in with a cane because of the pain and was feeling much better after a few sessions. He was very confident that he could help me and that is exactly what happened. He also suggested acupuncture to relieve the pain. I was kind if hesitant at first but now I recommend it immensely. Does not recommend to anybody this place at alll!! I don't recommend to come to this place at all for PT. I dont even want to put a star but "0". I got a No Fault insurance coverage which it is pretty good. In the beginning apparently seams a nice place and nice people. After I starting my PT treatment with "Jerika" ( a suppose Physical Therapy staff) in the very almost beginning she was very serious and not nice..and then assistant with Greg (which eventually found out is best friend with Jerika " he is married with children).then when weeks pass and I was keep going to this place, I have noticed a change behavior on this lady PT assistant name "Jerika" (like a jealous person behavior) every time I have therapy with the cupping on my back she always leave the door wide open every time while I have my therapies, others patient was having theirs in "private", she then one day pull the cables for the "machine therapy" reluctantly, I ask for her name and last name and she refused, then I complaint with the owner (Mr. Wong) and explained the circumstance of why I was not happy with her. Then he promise me to get another PT staff and no longer have to deal with this lady ever again. I also see a change is Greg that he no longer want to assist, then I found out with one staff that both are together (None of my business) but the treatment that I was getting because all of the jealous Jerika. No only that, she does not have a licence to perform the Physical Therapy or permission from the NYC State, but also found out of another complaint of a lady that she was also receiving PT with similar treatment from Jerika and she went with her husband to complaint with the owner Dr Wong. The Spanish receptionist which is no longer working for the company was not happy at all working for this facility and left the company After I made a complaint, Then the doctor sometimes was not nice at all with me, one day when he was about to perform Acupuncture, he say to me in the front of other staff "are you going to take your blouse off" and I say NO, I refused, and then I went to the last room that I was assigned"which was not privacy at all" only "curtains on the side" and open door and then proceed to perform the Acupuncture. I never felt so horrible experience when the needles he put on my back felt like burning my back, then found out the needles has alcohol on it!! The door where open so practically other around was hearing my complaint (probably well planed because of my complaint with Jerika). I could sue him for all the treatment I got in this place, but same day I decide to no longer comin to this horrible place by leaving an email message that I am no longer going to this place ever, I was not happy at all. I think this doctor whether he is Crazy or has to do something with Jerika that defend her so much. I don't recommend this place for Physical Therapy or Acupuncture or any other treatment ever again!!! Watch out people!!! You may end up with something else in this place read more

I found the place to be dirty, the staff disinterested at best and uncaring and cold for the most part.(at one point seeing them on facebook instead of tending the clients ) I went twice a week for several week and I spoke to the doctor once on my first visit and that was it . there where times that I was there for my appointment and the lights where still out and I had to wait for the staff to show up. when setting up the equipment I would ask what setting where used on my last visit and no one knew. the staff who where not therapists seemed unfamiliar with P T and lacking in knowledge and experience. I am always put of by a medical professional who sell retail items in there lobby but when they started sending me adds for there practice in my e mail that crossed a line with me. I did not give them my e main to get spam. if there is a change in my treatment or appointment that is why I should be contacted. if you would like to be ignored in a uncleanly place that has some shoddy repairs this is the place for you. read more

I am a teenager who has had migraines since I was four years old. No doctor has ever told me how to deal with them aside from taking pain killers. After researching the daith piercing, which supposedly relieves migraines, I found Dr. Wong and his facility. My mother called to schedule an appointment and I was seen the next day. I was extremely anxious about my visit because I have a terrible fear of needles but I was willing to try anything at this point. The staff was extremely welcoming and comforting. They treated me as if I had been a patient there for years. After a consultation, I consented to give it a try. Surprisingly I felt ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN. It felt like my skin was being tapped. When I arrived for my appointment I had a migraine and when I left, I was completely pain free. I used to be unable to function when I had a migraine and have to sleep for multiple hours. Now the duration, severity, and frequency of my migraines has been drastically decreased. I have been a patient for there months. My energy level has increased, my sleep has improved and I feel well. If anyone is considering acupuncture for any issue they have such as smoking, anxiety, migraines or any other problem, try it and go to this facility, You will be taken care of by Dr. Wong and his staff and you will not regret it! read more
