Dr. Wang is a miracle worker. Back in July, I broke out into a very severe rash. I went to the…read moredoctor several times to try and identify the cause to no avail. They gave me steroid cream. They drew blood for allergies tests. Everything came back normal even the test for lobster, which I happen to know I am allergic to. When I eat lobster, my breathing becomes affected. Perplexed by the results, I called the doctor to tell him that I thought the tests were wrong. He was looking at my records and said to me, "Well, you're seeing the allergist on the 17th. In the meantime, you can do your own allergy testing." "What do you mean, Doctor?", I replied. "You can eat some lobster", he said. Dumbfounded, I lost my ability to speak for a moment. Then he said, "What happens when you eat it?" I said, "I can't breathe" to which he replied, "Oh. Don't do that." He then wished me luck and the phone call ended. So did my confidence in the medical establishment. During this whole debacle, my friend told me about Dr. Wang. A long time ago, she broke out into a serious rash and Dr. Wang healed her. After the phone call with my doctor, I decided to pay a visit to him. I went to his office mid-afternoon on a Tuesday, signed in and was seen almost immediately. Dr. Wang did a pulse reading on me, asked me some questions, and confirmed some things about my health (he said my lungs were weak which is true - I have asthma). We spoke for a few minutes and he asked me if I was able to drink the tea. I said yes. He mentioned that it did not taste good. That was okay with me. I was beginning to look like Jeff Goldblum in "The Fly" so I figured the taste might appeal to me or I would endure it out of desperation. He gave me the instructions on when and how to take the tea. Patients have the option of brewing the tea themselves or buying it pre-made; I opted for the latter. I had to wait for about 90 minutes for the tea to be ready which was totally fine with me. I ran some errands while I was waiting. The pulse reading was $20 and is free if you buy the tea. The tea, I am happy to say, is not the worst thing I have ever tasted. Based on some of the reviews here I anticipated it would taste like vomit. It is quite bitter and basically tastes like a herbal remedy. I probably would not chose this brew at Tealuxe but I have been able to drink it with no problem at all. I have about three teas left. The best part this whole thing is that the itching has subsided and my rash is almost completely gone. Dr. Wang is a true expert and healer. Some of the complaints on here are directed at the fact that he does not spend a lot of time with you. He doesn't have to. He is an expert and can accurately diagnosis within a very short amount of time. What I love about his approach is that it is truly holistic. He got to the root of the problem instead of just trying to get rid of the symptoms. Dr. Wang is a very nice man. I will go back to him in the future for other treatments. He healed me and I am very grateful to him.

As he is not the first acupuncturist I've seen, I speak from a small base of experience when I say that he does excellent work. So good, in fact, that I go to see him weekly, whenever I can. I appreciate his style, which is very slow and thorough. He does a complete profile every visit before he begins, and works on supporting trouble areas as well as relieving problems in the short term. I can most sincerely recommend him, if you are considering acupuncture for any reason, give him a try. Tell him I sent you!

PJ is great! Can't say enough good things about the man…read more As far as needle poking goes: I've had some pretty intense experiences in acupuncture with PJ. My first bout of sessions was to treat depression, insomnia, stress and related issues. The results varied and my lifestyle wasn't helping much. In more recent times (past 9-10 months) I returned to PJ to address injuries / emotions. The treatments have really amazed me. I hyper-extended my knee and pulled my hamstring within days of each other -- both were injuries I'd had before but didn't properly heal, in particular my knee pain which has been chronic for three years. After some time in acupuncture my hamstring is 100% again (when before it still never felt quite right) and my knee pain is substantially diminished and even feels normal from time to time. It's amazing! I know I sound like a commercial saying this, but I got to a point where I never thought I'd be able to sit in my chair without feeling constant (if dull) pain again. Emotionally, the treatments have been pretty potent. A few times I started crying involuntarily, one time I saw brilliant colors. I usually feel pretty drained after sessions, but I take it to be a generally good thing. He also has a really good treatment to clear nasal congestion. It kind of sucks, but it works.

But after coming here once a month for a few months, my periods have completely normalized again. No more pain and now my cycles are regular to a T! I haven't made any other life changes besides coming to see Bell. Their methodology is safe and effective, and in my case, curative. Periods don't have to suck! I'd highly recommend coming here if you are someone struggling with your periods or any other chronic conditions.

Dr Zhang also helped to encourage labor, so our son was born at the birth center (no epidural, no pitocin -- it was an all-natural birth). I think she has a good heart. But I don't think she should be working right now. She needs to choose between her job as a healer and her job as a nurturer for her child. Her communication timetable is not reliable, which was evident in that it sometimes took her quite a bit to get back to me. This hit particularly deeply when, in the middle of herbal treatment (during the pandemic, no less), I gave her an update and asked a few questions and then didn't hear back from her for over a month. It wasn't that my email was missed, or that it went to a spam box. She just left it. To her credit, she apologized about this, but being as I had explained to her my experience with other doctors and healers not listening to me, I was so disappointed that I just give up on her entirely. It was the final nail in the coffin that has made working with her feel completely unreliable. Who would want to work with someone to heal who you have shaky confidence will actually be there for you? It's, perhaps, a case of "taking on more than you can chew." I hope one day Marilyn is able to figure out how to strike this balance so that it is easier for her future patients to have faith in her.

But the pain always came back within the next hour. Someone suggested acupuncture, but I was hesitant. Then one day, I mustered up the courage to try it out, and that's when Sharon did wonders to my neck and pain areas. Sharon is one of the acupuncturists at this clinic. She started out by asking a lot of questions to figure out where exactly the pain was and how long it was going on for. And after that, all I had to do was relax and let the wonders of acupuncture do its work. At the end of it, I felt relaxed and I was able to freely move my neck again! I'm no longer afraid or hesitant of acupuncture; rather, I'm very thankful and it's something I want to encourage more people to explore. If you're experiencing any pain, if massages and spas and chiropractor treatments don't seem to work, try acupuncture! And I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Sharon at this clinic!
