I thought because my neck and shoulders hurt, the needles were going to be placed there, but Mr. park explained how the left hemisphere of our body is connected and he put needles on my feet and arms which actually made my neck better; I was able to turn my neck without tightness. The follow up sessions would be needles on my neck and shoulders according to him. He also explained that cupping is more for increasing blood flow while acupuncture is geared towards tightness of the muscle, which is what I needed for my treatment. Mild headaches are gone, I sleep better, my focus and creativity are better. I've never been able to meditate, or at least it's very difficult for my "squirrel" brain. I've been able to successfully meditate while visiting Dr. Cho. If you want information about how she will approach an issue, I would recommend asking about her process and coming prepared with questions. She is kind, friendly, prompt and although acupuncture is not cheap, her prices align with reasonable industry standards. This location is in an office building on the 5th floor. Although that sounds awkward, it's easy to get to, ample/free parking and the suite is quiet and peaceful. There may have been a miscommunication but my understanding was that I would be receiving more needles than that but my practitioner never returned. I believe I was forgotten about but I could not talk to my practitioner and my concerns were waved away at checkout. My symptoms did not improve and I waited several days after treatment to be sure. I was also supposed to receive some follow-up recommendations for teas to drink and never heard back. I reached out privately as a courtesy to them considering years of positive experiences and have not heard back now after several days. They are usually very responsive so I believe they are choosing to ignore my concerns. I do feel a bit scammed. What I paid for was not at all worth it and I feel cheated, which is an icky way to feel, especially at a business you previously trusted.

That tightness made it difficult to look out for traffic when I wanted to filter left on the roads. Turning my face to the right was fantastic but turning to my left was tough and I couldn't turn entirely to where by chin was over my shoulder. I have tried many types of massages and it would help for the day and would slowly creep back the next day.
