A few months ago, my husband and I visited Limerick's Acura Dealership. We went twice and both times had a bad experience with the same salesman. On our second visit I tested drive the MDX, beautiful car; I loved it! But, we got the same salesman. He had little to no knowledge on the ca. Then, we had a few issues with him and we decided it was best to leave. I loved the MDX and wanted to buy it. We looked up another Acura place and found another Piazza dealership in West Chester. We drove almost an hour to get there. But, it was well worth it! We bought the exact Acura 2025 MDX SUV that I wanted to buy at the Limerick Dealership. There we met a great salesman named Mark and had a great experience. Mark exceeded our expectations with all the knowledge he had about the car. The service department here is terrible. Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had to come here because my wife is going to Florida and I couldn't wait for an appointment at my normal Acura dealership. The appointment was for 7:30 however i didn't know that service technicians didn't come in until 8:00. I was told the oil change and tire rotation would take 45 minutes. At 8:50 I was told that there was a screw in one of my tires and because of the angle of the screw they recommended replacing the tire. I told them I had purchased my tires at another Acura dealership and should be covered. I was then told it was going to take a long time for them to verify this information and get the invoice from the other dealership. I felt like they were insinuating that it would be better to just buy the new tire even though it's covered. I called the dealership that I bought the tires from and in two minutes Acura of Limerick had all the information they needed. It's now been over two and a half hours since that phone call and I still don't have my car back yet. This place is awful! read more

I took my car here for service yesterday and it was a positive experience.I really like their waiting room , it is very unique. It is the entire length of the showroom and I was able to have my own television with a remote. Definitely nice to not have to be stuck watching a stupid show like the view or CNN.... Absolutely phenomenal experience buying our new 2022 mdx tonight. Better than phenomenal actually it was the best car buying experience of my life and my wife's. No nonsense. No games. No waiting around hours for docs. We worked with Chris M and he worked out all details with me via text in the week leading up to tonight. Answered everything thoroughly. Quoted me a price. Said car and papers would be ready when i showed up like every other dealer in my life had told me and for the first time the dealership and sales guy told the truth and it was awesome. I worked really hard to get a new car and make sure it was a good deal However John at Acura of Limerick and his supervisor made sure they could cheat me out of my car and money for a new car! I had my family with me to teach the kids about contracts and how to ask for what you need in a contract just for you not the company. However because I had my kids with me and they were restless John made sure to use this to his advantage and I played a part also by not going over the contract I signed. So I am locked into a new contract for a while. However I will share my experience so no one else gets cheated like I did! Recently purchased/leased a vehicle here... And the experience was negative, for the following reasons: 2 days after I got the car, I let the sales rep know that it was too small, and u was concerned.. He did nothing with the request for a larger car, and waited for it to be too late to remedy, before taking me seriously. I then spoke a 'sales manager', who could not have been more condescending and unhelpful, it was clear that I had to keep going up the foodchain, as someone at this organization wants happy customers, right? Wrong, I then worked with the GM, who at least listened to my concerns, and had a better bedside manner, but still came back with the same response, basically: "we have you over a barrel and we will not work with you, to fix your problem". 5 months in, I am dissatisfied with the quality and the leg room if the car, and stuck. I would not recommend working with this dealership, as they conduct themselves in an elitist manner and act as if they are doing you a favor, just by talking to you. read more

Very unimpressed with this dealership. I was looking to buy a new RDX so I sent out detailed bid requests to a number of dealerships. The initial email I sent was at 930AM on a Saturday, I then sent a follow-up email at 2:30PM that afternoon. My emails were sent to Tom Covell ("Internet Sales Manager") and Tim Nester (Sales Manager). They didn't bother to respond or even acknowledge receipt of either of those emails. (As a side note: in my first email I mentioned the price range of the best offers I had received thus far - which at the time was excluding destination fee, dealer fees, tax, tag, title, etc. since I did not have that detailed price info. yet). On Monday, I gave them one more opportunity by sending a final follow-up email to Chris Jarrell - the general sales manager. By this time I had detailed pricing info for the quotes and was thus able to give him an "out-the-door" number (which is always the best way to compare quotes from different dealers since they may charge different fees that affect the final price.) Most dealers were enthusiastic to have an opportunity to win my business but this was Chris's response: "hi Zach, we already received an email from you on saturday stating you had an offer from other dealer in the mid 30k range, and now seeing your best offer is 39k? Invoice price of the car you are looking at is over 39k and then once you factor in tax and tags, we wouldn't be anywhere close to these deals that you say you have already" 1. So he basically acknowledges that they DID receive my emails on Saturday and just chose to ignore me. Nice 2. He implies that I am lying about the other offers I have received when he states "we wouldn't be anywhere close to these deals that YOU SAY you have already" {Emphasis mine} 3. By his own admission his dealership is completely uncompetitive on price. So, if you want to work with a dealership that ignores you repeatedly, implies you are a liar, and isn't "anywhere close" to being competitive on price then Acura of Limerick is your winner. read more

Went car shopping for a lease with my gf. Test drove a couple different manufacturers. The tlx was on the list. Our salesman was nice and seemed pretty cool as we test drove the vehicle. Once we got inside to talk numbers on leasing it was slightly different. We decided just to get a general idea on price without her trade in. Long story short they tried push a 15 on us instead of a 16. The bigger part was that they tried to make it sound like getting the new model was going to be $125 more per month for a lease. Made no sense to us and sounded fishy. Either way if she chose the tlx she wanted the 16'. Considering the other prices we got from other vehicles pretty much the same price we we shocked that magically an Acura would cast more then the other competing luxury vehicles. This leads me to believe they were lying just to try and unload a leftover. The funnier part was the salesman kept calling even while we were there said she wasn't quite ready to lease yet (due to her bmw possibly being lemon lawed) and after 3 calls tried to tell her if we wanted the 15' other people were interested in the car so he needed to know what she wanted to do like that mattered. He then called at the end of the day saying it was sold. I've driven by every day since and the car still sits on the showroom floor. Watch out for salesman tricks to try to force you to buy a car. Working as a tech I've seen salesmen in action and don't fall for the bs. Don't ever feel like you have to make your decision while you sit there. All they care about is the sale and will say anything to you to trick you. If we choose the Acura we will not be going to Acura of limerick and we live 3 minutes from the dealer so that should tell you something. read more

My household has two Acura cars and both were bought at this dealership from Derek, who was an exceptional sales person, as other reviewers have experienced. The experience was great at the beginning- minimal expenses at service, nice waiting area, etc. However, about 2 years ago, things shifted. First, Derek was gone . I'd love to find out where he is now, as he's such a rockstars. Then, every time the car is in the shop, it's at least a $700 dent in my wallet, even for a car that has been well maintained with no issues. The management philosophy has definitely changed from doing what is the best for customers to what is best for its bottom line. My biggest regret was to do the 100,00-mike service. Not only did the car run very rugged for months, but they later found that something was messed up during that service. Last week I stopped by to look at buying a new car. Unfortunately, the sales person was not professional and made false claims about the car. Compared to what BMW has to offer and the cost of maintenance, I can no longer recommend Acura from this particular dealership offers the best value. Maybe other Acura dealerships that have integrity do, but definitely not this one. I do feel that I have lost trust with the dealership. read more

We purchased a 2011 Honda CRV with 34k on the clock a few months ago. Not long after our purchase my wife noticed the car shuddering while cruising at less than 30 mph. I couldn't believe a car with less than 40k miles would have transmission problems. So I pulled the dip stick as a initial check. The fluid was grey/black and smelled burnt. So I did 2 of the dealer recommended transmission services over a 2 week period, which has solved the problem. My issue is with the service department. How does someone go through a presale inspection and not check the fluids? And if they did check them, ignore an obvious problem. I know this is my fault for trusting a high end dealership to be good on their word that a car has been serviced, but I'm still very disappointed. Honda recommends in there service manual the CR-V transmission has a fluid service done every 30k. This was obviously not done by the previous owner and not picked up in the presale inspection... Maybe I'm weird but when I put 20 grand down on a late model car with low mileage and buy it from a high end dealership, I expect a car that is up to par with all services. I sent this information to Derek their internet sales manager and didn't even receive a response. Once again very disappointed in a upscale branded dealership. read more

I did not get to deal with the amazing Derek. I got to deal with everyone else. I bought the car during the day time. Got it home and it turns out most of the dash lights were burnt out and the wiring harness had become damaged. How did this happen on a certified car? Well that is because any sane human would never have passed this car, only a sleezebag would. Took the car to a real mechanic and it turns out the car was in a MAJOR accident and had to have parts welded back on. Not only do they vehemently deny this, they also refuse to fix the dash lights from the accident that it was in. Love the Acura, absolutely hate the dealer. They shouldnt be allowed to sell random used cars, let alone new Acura's. read more

After my last review, I stopped using their Service but my wife still did for her RDX. She had a disc error with the navigation system. She was told by Shaun the entire system has to be replaced and that he called corporate because of our last experience but it will cost just shy of $1000 for the service. We thanked him for his time but we'd rather use our phone & apple maps. a quick google of "How to fix acura Navi disk read errors" a screw driver, a qtip to clean the lens and about 30 minutes of our time solved the problem the next day. So I have been putting off this review because I helped my gf buy a used car from Acura of Limerick back in December 2013. I just wanted to see how it would fare before leaving a review. My gf and I live in North Jersey. We saw the car online on one of those popular car search sites. We called the number according to Acura of Limerick's website and spoke with John (who we later found out was relatively new at Acura of Limerick). I asked whether they could do better on the price (even though the price was already pretty competitive), and he gave me an even better price. I told John we would be down the next morning. *After doing so much research and reading stories about how car buyers would drive hours to a dealership only to find out they became victims of the "bait and switch"... where the buyer would call to confirm a car's availability, travel, and then find out that the car "was just sold a few hours ago"... I called the dealership just before closing time (car still available), and drove the next morning before the dealership opened. Guess what? The car was still there! No Bait and Switch. We test drove the car, had it inspected by a nearby mechanic, negotiated a bit more, signed the paperwork, and we were on our way. Even though it was the holiday season, my gf got her license plates and other documents before the 30-day temporary plate expired. Went to this place a week ago and purchased a 16 tlx. I bought the car certified and thought I was buying a decent car. Turns out a 30k Acura drives like a 2k beater. I have nothing but vibrations from the vcm system even though I'm told it's normal it's the worst car iv ever driven. To make matters worse these crooks said nothing about this when purchasing. They also are not willing to let me exchange the vehicle for something else even though it's been 4 days. Now after a week of owning the car I absolutely hate it. After purchasing my car, the dealer insisted that they do the paperwork to have my car titled in another state and, of course, they charged me for that "convenience." Well, my PA temporary tags expire in one day and I have gotten nothing. I could have titled the car myself at the local DMV in about 20 minutes. The dealership has completely ignored me and has provided no follow-up. Even the GM, who was copied on all my correspondence, is nowhere to be found. You may get a decent price on a new car here, but then you are completely on your own. Once they get your check, you never hear from them again. There are other options for buying Acuras in the Philly area; I learned my lesson! read more
