We had been customers of theirs since 1991 and had used them several times in the past, back when the first and second generations of the Oppermanns were still in charge. However, our most recent experience with Mr Brick has ended very unsatisfactorily. They came out three different times and were never able to make our mortar look right. In fact, it looked downright terrible. (see picture below) Mr Brick has not responded to my request for a refund. I finally gave up on Mr Brick and, based on their reviews, I contacted Strong Brick Repair. Jose Cureno promptly came to our house and looked at our mess and said that Strong Brick could fix it. Jose's brother came three days later and fixed our problem in less than two hours (see picture below). Strong Brick gets my enthusiastic recommendation for mortar and brick work. Both Jose and his brother communicate very effectively. Based on what they did for us, they are excellent.

They ran an industrial dehumidifier and cut out all of the wet components. And they did it shockingly cleanly, covering everything and making sure all debris was cleaned up after. That was the first service. Because I was impressed I also had them do the rebuild. Literally a third of my ceiling needed to be replaced. You have to look really hard, and know it's there, to tell where the wallboard was replaced. They even closely matched the ceiling pattern! The team was phenomenal, polite, friendly, helpful and skilled. An all around exceptional experience. Value was very good too.
