My cousin had strong happy memories of visiting Bob Baker Marionette Theater when she was young so ta-dah! Tbh, I had never heard of this place. Tbh, I was very curious how this generation of young kids, who are raised with cell phones and tablets would be engaged in this live puppet based presentation. I mean, I recall watching marionettes live at fairs and even on tv when I was a kid (Thunderbirds anybody?) but I was born in the 70's. BBMT pulled it off! The show, centered around a train journey, kept at least 30 kids (ranging from 1 to at least 10 years) laughing, clapping, "oohing" and "aahing". Thank God, it was not serious and I was next to him able to assist him without needing medical attention by a professional. Being that it is a kids place, I wish they would implement lids for all hot drinks to avoid something like this in the future. I think this is also something that a supervisor could have noticed before the food got to the table and prevented.
