Well located by the St James tube stop, near Buckingham Palace. On of the better Greene King pubs we've been to. Good fish and chips, burgers and British dishes. Service can be slow during peak hours. read more

Greetings mate, I quite enjoyed my meal at this little Pub. It was rather empty when we arrived at lunch time, but I trusted my gut and went in anyway. We ordered at the counter like any good lad would and the. Seated ourselves. All meals was surprisingly delicious. I very much enjoyed the sauce accompanying the meat pie. Their Flint Eye been was nice and refreshing although I felt a little guilty drinking during lunch, but what the hell I said, twas vacation and their beer so marketed so heavily I had to try. By the time we left, the pub was filled with no seats left so I felt like a trendsetter eh? Well mates , to sum up this story I think you should give it a go. read more

After walking around we wanted to sit down & grab some drinks, this place was closer to where we were so we decided to give it a try. We came in got drinks at the bar & sat down. We got some of the local beers , Adam & Eve house ale & Green king now I am not a fan of warm beer ughhh this was disappointing to say the least & it's an automatic nope for me! I actually got some ice because it was that warm made it taste better. We wanted to get more drinks but were told they were closing, now this was a Saturday afternoon it was like 6? How do these people stay in business closing so early on a weekend? No clue! Now maybe the beer was warm because they were close to closing time? Can't say for sure but not a good seller Beer should always be served cold. The place itself is decent looking a bit dim on the lighting. The lady bartender was nice, sucks we didn't get to have more drinks but can't do Jack if a place closes early, we just went to the next place we found. read more

We ran into this pub while walking to our hotel and decided to try it out. It's a cute place where you seat yourself. No one comes to take your order here. You have to go to the bar and order. The menu has a few vegetarian options, which is great. The food did take a while to come. I ordered the veggie open sandwich with sweet potato patty and hummus. The sandwich was blah and the bread was cold. I wasn't a fan of it. I did enjoy the ambiance of the place but not the service or the food. read more

This place is a great place for beer and typical British pub style food. We came in after a long day exploring London. The staff was polite and helpful explained us to find a table and to order at the bar. Like many of the breweries back in the US. The place is everything you expect from a British Pub, from a great carved & painted sign outside with Adam, Eve even had a snake in between them. To the interior with a proper "snug" for the lady folk. We had walked by a few times and their "steak pie" had caught our eye today we decided to try it. My only regret is that I didn't stop by and grabbed one the first time I saw the sign. The pie is probably what the British National dish should be. Not fish and chips. It was full of a rich beef gravy, onions and tender steak strips. The crust was flaky and flavorful. It came with chips and peas. But I skipped out on the peas. But my wife did enjoy the mushy peas which she enjoyed. Oh yeah the Flint Eye Beer was great and cold and if you show up during happy hours is 2 for 1! read more

We went to this establishment to celebrate and when we walked in we were received by a rude server at the bar. When we walked in they told us they were only open for one more hour. The server was rude and dismissive, horrible service!! Go to the Sanctuary, much better service and hospitality. If I could leave a negative star I would. read more

This Adam & Eve location offers a charming pub location in central London that doesn't have as many bar options. The bar itself was pretty good with quick service. The food service took a bit longer, but it was nice to have food options (especially late at night). I would recommend the nacho or fry plate to share with others. read more

Decent enough pub, very close to St James's Park underground station (west exit), with a stripped-wood decor which feels half-way between modern and traditional. They do a good selection of real ales and bottled beers, and a reasonable range of bar food (which I've not tried recently, but was above average for this area). I've found the service a bit hit-and-miss in the past, with bar staff inattentive and prone to serving generous heads (ie short measures). The new landlady seems to be improving matters, so it might warrant four stars in due course. Like all the pubs around here, it can get crushed after work, with the combined staff from the various Civil Service departments, London Transport HQ and City of Westminster seemingly all arriving at once. But it empties out by about 7.30pm, and is fine during the day, when it's mostly frequented by tourists. The Buckingham Arms (Young's) is close by if you want a change of scenery, and they also do food. Good accessibility, including lavatories for disabled people. read more

Well run "local" pub frequented in the main by civils from the MoJ opposite and the various other offices nearby. Good range of beer with Butcombe, Adnams and London Gold on offer today. Bog standard offering of Fosters, Stella etc for the larger lover. Food is bog standard pub fare, ok but nothing you would write home about. Lovely old school scary landlady who will often take to moving the customers about the bar if she is not keen on where they have chosen to sit. All good fun but a little bit of a throw back to the 1950's. Much better pubs in the area but worth a visit. 6/10 - has some old school charm and well kept ale. read more

Went up to the bar to place my and my wife's order. They did not have my choice, no worries, I went with the second option. Five minutes later the server came to us and said that they did not have my wife's option either. Ended up canceling our order and leaving. Fairly nice about the matter but they still wanted to charge me for my soft drink. read more

Yay! Stopped in for a pint with my companion before heading to Buckingham Palace to be tourists. Prices were reasonable and staff were really friendly. We actually got carded here! Was surprised since I had rarely been carded in Europe (even as someone under the age of 24). Cute and cozy and perfectly located near a tube station. Staff was really friendly and bathrooms were clean. They serve food as well, but we weren't hungry so can't comment on that. read more

Nice ambiance, good food and wine list. Service was a little off as when we walked in the lady greeting us was unsure if the kitchen was open at 3pm and then she disappeared once the food came. Ended up going over to the bar where the fellow there was helpful and able to assist us with more drinks and then our bill. Fish and chips were great. Hamburger not too bad. I liked the chunky chips that came with the fish more then the string fries with the burger. Chunky fries are more like potatoes and due to their size stay warm longer, where the latter get cold quickly. Over all had a good experience and would go back. read more

Visited this pub for lunch with my mom after visiting Buckingham Palace. Nice and friendly ambiance and pleasant bartender. You have to order food at the bar. We ordered the Big fish and chips and 10 wings with BBQ sauce and creamy garlic sauce. Our food took over 30 mins to arrive and thank god it was good so make sure you have plenty of time if you come here. We had bad fish and chips when we arrived so I'm glad to finally eat some good ol' English fare. The chicken wings were huge but delicious. If you happen to be around Buckingham Palace, check this nice low-key spot but be wary of slow service. read more
