Ummmm, no. This is a very expensive purse and definitely not the welcoming I expected upon entering a nice retail store in South Reno. I totally get theft and understand the deterrent local business owners need to prevent theft however customer service should still be intact. Referral and return business is so important, especially for local business owners in this small (big) growing city. I would suggest proper training, maybe more security or a camera system. The customer should not feel like a suspect while shopping...definitely a huge turn off while here today. read more

Do not buy anything from this store! Most things are cheap and/or cheaply made. In addition, products are NOT as advertised and they do not accept returns of any kind. I purchased a bed restraint system and the images on the package did not match what was inside. I brought it back the very next day, explained that it was false advertising and they still didn't refund me. The top picture shows the apparent system with clips and all. However, when opened, there's no clips just Velcro straps that cannot detach. I understand the health & safety side of it but when you're selling products that don't match their description you're a bad business. I have been coming here since they opened and have always received great customer service. The pricing is typical for the product. Not over priced as some have mentioned. The store is well lit and feels very comfortable to be in. The layout is perfect for the size store. There are a couple of dressing rooms and the staff will gladly allow you to try the clothing on to make sure it fits. The upstairs (a loft section of the store) holds the majority of the toys, movies and magazines. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They are also knowledgeable on the product, and will provide feedback about their own experience with the product if asked. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they used to have a member program where you would get a percentage of your purchase towards the next purchase. This is no longer the case because of new ownership. There was no warning or grace period that this was going away. Now the only incentive is to receive something after 10 visits. read more

Sooooooo, I was actually pretty surprised at Adam & Eve Reno. Let me tell you why. This store is actually quite nice and the staff here is pretty helpful. They are pretty knowledgeable about their products and I talked with one of the cashiers their, very helpful lady, and they test some of their products like the body chocolates so they know what it taste like and etc. I don't know how else to explain this without sounding like a total perv but they know their stuff. It's hard not to sound like a perv, as I keep writing it makes me think twice about leaving a damn review for this place. But I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful the staff was and classy this place is. If you are looking for a place to spice up your love life this would be the place to go. They have costumes for women and some items for men. The men's selection is limited but there are plenty for women to choose from. Lingerie, costumes, movies, dildos, yes I said dildos. Okay let us get over ourselves haha. But lots of items for you to choose from. It is an interesting place to spend the afternoon but men who are looking for a present opportunity might find this place a good place to get your wife maybe long term girlfriend a gift. Always nice and friendly staff when I go in. They have a good selection of items. I am use to bigger stores with more selection BUT the selection they do have is nice. There are a few outfits for cosplay, some corsets, cute suits, panties, but not many functional bras. Some sext shoes. There is a section for lubes, creams and lotions. Upstairs there are toys of different sorts. A little of everything. Anal play, couple play, dom/sub, massagers, vibrators, silicone, glass, metal, whips, ropes, gags........and if you wish to see something that is in a box, just ask and they will usually open it for you! The selection! The internet comparable prices! How non-skeezy the store is! How unobtrusive and yet still helpful the employees are! Anyone accustomed to Suzie's will be amazed at how aesthetically pleasing this store is. They utilize the two stories and the open floor plan well. It is easy to see upon walking in where various products are located. The selection of products is for the most part comparable to Suzie's, although here there is way more women's apparel. My favorite part of my experience of the store, other than getting exactly what the boyf and I were looking for, was the music played in the store: late 1990s/early 2000s pop goodness, almost exclusively female artists. Yes, please, I'd love to shop to early Destiny's Child and late Spice Girls and Christina Aguilera. Not much makes this sex-positive feminist happier while shopping for adult goods than that kind of soundtrack. I also appreciate that it is easy to split the bill between two credit or debit cards, 'cuz some items aren't cheap and in my opinion, gender equality involves sharing the cost of collective fun. I don't know if the cashier's language was intentional, but her explaining to us whose signature was needed on top and whose signature was needed on the bottom of the receipt made me chuckle. We love this adult store and it's a Must Visit when we travel to Reno to get our gamble on. We've spent probably $700 at Adam and Eve store this year and the staff are always so nice and informative. They've given us tours and let me try things on and helped us tie break on which things to get when my husband and I just can't make a decision between similar products. Lots of selection and a huge store upstairs and downstairs. Neatly organized displays and nothing is cluttered or low quality. My husband says it's one of the few 'non creepy' adult stores and has some class which is relaxing and feels almost like clothes shopping at a regular store. I suppose I never checked out a Reno location, because I prefer to shop at grassroots stores over franchises or chains, when I can afford to do so...Nothing against franchises, I understand that there are still local folks investing in the business, but I guess I'm a bit of a puristic idealist. It was the morning of the event (my friend was doing a Bachelorette weekend up at the the lake), and I didn't want to drive to Midtown and deal with the parking (nor did I have the time to travel any farther than necessary). Thanks to Yelp, I found out that there was an Adam & Eve location in close proximity to my house! I must say, I was blown away (no pun intended). The Longley location is in a modern little strip mall, and based on the size of the exterior suites, I figured the store would be small. Boy, was I wrong! Adam & Eve Reno is two glorious stories of selection, class and decadence, with really fun background music to boot! The salesgirl who greeted me was super-friendly. I told her I was looking for a bachelorette gift, and she led me straight to their bachelorette party wall. I then told her that I wasn't really looking for the normal, wacky bachelorette trinkets or games. I wanted to get her more of a nice couples' gift for her honeymoon. She then provided me with several excellent suggestions, but I wanted to take some time to look around the whole store to make up my mind... Holy bejeezus, selection, selection, SELECTION! They have everything you could ever want or need for some intimate time with your partner, in all kinds of colors, sizes and prices. From costumes to toys, to fun and games, Adam & Eve has it ALL. (And if they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you!) The best thing about this store though, is the customer service. It doesn't feel seedy or slimy, and the ladies who work here are genuinely friendly and very knowledgeable- they make excellent, helpful suggestions without a drop of judgement and don't try to push you into buying a higher priced item. They actually try the products here for themselves, and they are very honest, which I really appreciate. In the end, I actually wound up going with the salesgirl's initial suggestion (I am so sorry that I can't remember her name, but she was AMAZING) plus a few extra trinkets. The woman (different lady) who cashed me out also made a great suggestion on one of my extra gifts- her suggestion was spot-on, and my bachelorette friend was very happy and satisfied with her gifts. We respected their rules. The sales lady sold us on an expensive Bluetooth vibrator package deal that came with a bullet it was a anniversary package that I noticed after we walked out was previously opened even though they have a strict no return or exchange policy. So how did I purchase an open package?????? I tried to contact the manufacturer but they where no help so we took the loss and thankfully the bullet is awesome. I was a bit nervous the first time I visited Adam & Eve. I'm a pretty modest gal, so adult stores are not high on my expertise.
