I'm not the kind of person who buys into all the "green" extras and nonsense, but I've taken a chance with a few recommendations from the folks in this shop. I am NEVER disappointed. I was visiting Reno, and with all the walking and not enough sleep, my chronic pain conditions made themselves very known. I haven't been able to get my cbd from my usual source, and we were referred here. This was probably one if the best parts of an already fun trip. Just remembered that they deserve a good yelp. Super laid back place. They also are amazingly friendly while never looking down on anyone for not knowing anything. If you walk in and they're on the phone they'll say hi and let you know that you'll be helped ASAP. After they'll say sorry like a friend who had to take a call even if they REALLY wanted to talk to you instead. They have such low turn over with people who work there that you'll see the same people for years working there. If they aren't 100% about something in the store they'll ask for more information from another worker. Everyone is involved in stocking and what they carry that they'll tell you WHEN they just got something in - and mean it. Prices are comparative. Could you find it online cheaper ? Sure. I shop for 80% of everything online. I do not find going to this place a chore, so I go out of my way to spend a few bucks extra here... and I'm a cheap bastard. Retail has markup and these guys keep it in a safe area that you'd never feel ripped off, EVER. Plus half the time they'll say: "hey, have you ever tried ____?" they'll hook you up on trying something and give you a good price, and next time you come in tell them how it was. They'll stop carrying items if good customers tell them it sucks even if it sold. I heard the one lady there tell someone that they USED to have that, but people who bought it weren't super jazzed about it so instead of just keeping a MEH product they brought in what people really liked. You can ask if you can get a break on an item, and they'll do everything they can to do it. If they can't with that item they'll toss something else in for free. I had something break that was MY FAULT and brought it in to get a replacement... the main dude looked at me and realized I just bought a few weeks ago... so he GAVE me the piece for free and felt bad that I ever had an issue with it. So honestly I've saved money and learned a lot from just going in. Other companies could learn a lot from how this store operates with customers. read more

Whowww, I really can't believe that a place can treat people this way and stay in business. We bought a $350.00 item two months ago and they said if we had ANY problems to come back and they would replace it. Bring it back clean, in the box and we will give you another. I believe this man's name was "Ted". Well, we did and the owner's girlfriend, Mary couldn't have handled the situation any worse. First she said I had to leave it to be checked out, which I understood. Being such an expensive item I asked if she could just mark on my receipt that I was leaving it so she shoved it back at me and said I could send it back myself. I than asked again thinking she misunderstood me and she did the same thing. I left it without any proof. The next day we called and asked what they found out and again Mary treated us like we were asking for something out of normal. We went in to find out in person and Mary RUDELY got the item and we took it back so we could send it back ourselves. The employees seemed to know this was Mary's M.O.. Its sad when a store sells you something giving you promises with a smile but once they have your money they seem to forget what they said to get it. I really feel sorry for the owner having to go home with this Mary every night. She needs to go to the doctor and get some meds. read more

Art Dogs is where I go on the regular for blunt wraps. Not only do they always carry the brand I like (Kingpin) but there is a fantastic selection of wraps in the back corner of the glass room. The staff is real cool and will take a couple bucks off the total when I get a grip of blunt wraps there (I don't think smoke shops make much on those anyways). The larger part of the store is incense, tapestries, clothing, back packs - wow they sure do have a lot here! The incense is ok for the price. Everything else I find in there is quite expensive. Tapestries start at 30$ - though they are indeed fine quality pieces. I basically only come here for blunt wraps (that's all I smoke, so you will not usually catch me buying glass), and I'll pick up some incense just for the hell of it. Anything else is an impulse buy. This was a shop much like The Melting Pot only less jam packed full of stuff. They had a lot of similar items in terms of candles, jewelry, and tapestries. I get that this is mostly a smoke shop but I didn`t come here for that this time. I was looking for a gift, and although I found nothing, it is still a neat little shop to check out. The prices seemed OK. I would honestly rather just pop on over to The Melting Pot but this place might have something they don`t. Probably not but you never know. If you want quality over anything else this is where you go! The owner is extremely cool and very knowledgeable about the latest trends in the scene. I went in there specifically for E-nail accessories and to see about some of the latest types of nails. They carry D-nail and some other brands but seriously at this time, Sept of 2015, there are few spots that carry AND actually know what's up about E-nail products and accessories. If you use an E-nail, you know not many know about it, these guys do...at least the owner def does! I was impressed with his knowledge and how chill he was. So I messed up and got the wrong item not once but twice....long story but e-nail stuff is kinda complicated at times....their receipts say pretty clearly that there are no refunds, etc, etc, but after having all these issues, they kept letting me fix my issue. Bring things back, swap it out, give me store credit until I and they got it right!! That's great customer service and a great way to earn a customer for life! Keep it up guys!! read more

This is my favorite glass/head shop in town, and I was very excited to find out that they were doing home delivery once they were no longer able to do curbside pick up. We placed two separate orders, about a week and a half apart. The first, being an atomizer for a puff co and butane. For the second, my boyfriend was in contact with the owner giving us options for glass, sending pictures, and providing the same information they would've provided to us in store. We had broken our beloved leisure rig about two weeks before the Covid shutdowns began, and we're not able to get a new one in the store in time. After being given many options, and sent many pictures, we ended up deciding on a new, upgraded leisure rig again. They delivered it same day, while still practicing social distancing guidelines. Lousy customer service and attitude!!! My boyfriend bought a $30 dollar lighter on MLK sale day. He was given a great review of the product by the employee helping him. Within two weeks, the lighter started leaking when refilled and wasn't lighting correctly. We went in on Friday Feb. 6th, 2015 to exchange it, and were given possibly the worst customer service I have ever had. The employee (a short, skinny guy with a scraggly beard who refused to give us his name) said that my boyfriend used the wrong fuel, therefore he broke it. My boyfriend was never instructed to use any particular type of fuel, and there was no paperwork with the product mentioning this fact. The employee got irate and started using the F word every other word when we pointed out that it wasn't our fault we weren't given proper refill instructions. He got even more hostile when I asked his name and the name of a manager or owner who could help us. I am flabbergasted to have been treated in such a manner over a $30 lighter. read more

The little older lady is completely rude, and the guy with the dreads is not so helpful, almost as if annoyed by having to help someone.
