The dental nurse and lady Doctor were very professional and efficient. We had our 360 xrays done, bite wings and a cleaning, all done the same day. I was delighted to get so much done. I am very happy with how things worked out, and I would highly recommend then to anyone looking for a good place to go. The first positive is ease of scheduling. As a new patient, I was able to get an appointment scheduled in just a few weeks. At past places, it has always seemed like it can take 6 months to get an appointment scheduled at a "good time." As a teacher I don't like taking time off for appointments, so I try to go 3:30 or later and those are always booked, here it was easy to get an appt relatively soon. The staff was very friendly. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very personable, she talked and was friendly, but didn't go overboard. Sometimes I find the hygienist gets too talkative when they have the tools in your mouth and it is a pain to talk, didn't find that here. They didn't suggest all sorts of work and things that needed to be done. My teeth aren't perfect. But I brush twice a day and try to floss most days a week and I feel that I have pretty good oral health. But some of the places i've gone seem to always suggest lots of different things I should have done, and I'm never very certain on if it needs to be done or if they just want to make money, but I didn't see that here. Overall, I am definitely not someone who loves going to the dentist, but the people at Batavia Family Dental made it an overall good experience.
