I contacted Adam about cleaning the windows of my Redondo Beach home and the rain gutter at my very small 2-story townhouse rental in Pasadena. Due to the short time frame I needed the windows cleaned, Adam couldn't be available on such short notice, but offered to clear the rain gutters of my other property for no charge. Even when I insisted on him allowing me to pay, he still did the work without charging me. It seems these days hardly anyone provides service like that with the thought of building a client relationship. Adam and his guys were able to provide us a quote and come out to do the job next day. We just moved into a rental that is not well maintained on the outside. The house looked like it had never been washed. The home is covered with windows and screens with the gutters full from probably a few winters. After Adam and his men showed up, the house looked brand new and we fell in love with it. Had Adam come in and clean all the windows and screen in our two story home. Adam was prompt and communicated well, he followed up and kept all commitments. Adam and one helper did all the work on the windows and in addition cleaned a chandelier that was difficult to both access and clean. They did a great shop and the windows and screens were so clean my wife thought at first they forgot to put the screens back in place. I loved their attention to detail in flushing and hand wiping the sills and sashes inside the windows for a total cleaning job. My husband urged me to write a 5 star A+++ review for Adam Kirk bec it's pouring with rain right now and Adam has saved us!! We have been using another gutter cleaning service and while they did a good job is just doesn't compare to what Adam offers you. Adam is smart, informative, communicative and knows gutters and beyond. He gave us an assessment of why our gutters were not working well and was able to get under the screen traps to clean out leaves. Our older house has ill designed gutters and we have begun to get water damage bec the water is not draining well. Adam and Brian came and because Adam does the work HIMSELF (being an owner operator) he was able to tell me exactly what my issues were and offered me solutions. His prices are fair and good and he is a gem - in fact worth paying more for him but he was not more than others. We will be using him from this day forward. He was recommended by a dear friend of mine who grew up here in LA. If you want someone who can really do the job and tell you what problems you might have and charge the same or less than others, and offers you service above and beyond (did I mentioned he is smart and communicative) this is your guy. Called for an estimate on gutter cleaning and they got back to us very quickly and with a fair price. Even though many places are very booked right now (months long waits!) they were happy to squeeze us in. They came out the next day and did a thorough job, he cleaned out and disposed of all the debris in the gutters and flushed them through with water to make sure everything was flowing correctly. After it was all done he showed me how everything was working and area where we need one small repair. Found Adam on Yelp. We were worried about our gutters given all the talk about El Nino hitting CA this winter, so we thought better safe than sorry. Adam came by very quickly for an estimate. Low key, explained what he would do, reasonable and honest rates. We were able to have him come back within a couple of days and he spent a couple of hours blowing all the leaves and gunk out of our gutters, blowing the (probably years of build up of) leaves off our roof (we have lots of big trees around the house) and cleaning up the debris that fell to the ground. He did extra work too, looking around on the roof for clogged gutters and other problems. In all, he went way above the call of duty. I am a Realtor here in the Pasadena area and a fellow agent referred me to Adam with flying colors so I tried him for my new townhouse listing that we were preparing. He came in with his assistant as scheduled and they took their time doing what they do best. The property had lots of big windows and the challenge was those very high huge windows by the living room that had cathedral ceilings but they managed to make those sparkle too. The property had a sliding door that opens to the patio that obviously had damaged glass surface already due to its age and was totally weathered. He said he can do it for an additional nominal fee BUT he honestly told me that he might not be able to do it, but he would try. He did make the sliding door look so much better but not acceptable so he did not charge me extra for that. That's what you call honest and fair. Adam did a great job communicating from the start and helping us set a time to get our windows washed for our open house. He assured me that the windows would look great including the filthy tracks inside too. He and another guy showed up on time and I had to leave my husband and wild kids at home so I wasn't around to do a final check on the work before Adam left. When I got home I saw that the windows looked amazing, but that the tracks were cleaned in a sloppy fast way that was not what I was expecting from our conversation. One track was completely missed too. I took some pics and called Adam, expecting a big fight, but he was totally gracious! He said he had a new person with him and apologized for the hasty job and scheduled a time to return so he could personally clean all the tracks. I called to set up an appointment to clean one second story gutter next to the chimney that was clogged and that I could not get to. The overflow water was getting on the chimney and seeping into the house. We set up an appointment on Saturday morning. Adam was late due to traffic but he texted to let me know this. It turned out there was not much debris because I had already attempted to clean it from below. He cleaned and flushed out some debris. He also explained the way the flashing was done, some water was bypassing the gutter. I thought he was professional and thorough. There was a minimal service charge for coming out even though it was just one gutter but I think that is fair. I would recommend him if you have gutter problems. read more

Firstly, I am not a frequent reviewer for various personal reasons, so it takes a very exceptional service/company for me to write a review. I would give Adam 6 stars if I could. Adam was extremely professional, beyond thorough, and patient while he spent the entire day cleaning my windows by hand. He was so thorough that I had to tell HIM to stop cleaning but he insisted on working on this one window which he thought needed a little more cleaning! Additionally, he was very patient in explaining to me the different types of windows I had and how to care for each one. We also had some great conversations which made me chuckle even after he left. And if that's not enough, he stuck by the quote he gave me initially even though the job was bigger upon inspection than he thought. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about Adam.
