I have to say this place has completely changed my life. I started coming here at the beginning of 2020 and have been coming back ever sense. The workout you get in one hour is incredible and I've never felt more alive and energized in my life. I've lost weight, gained strength, and have had a blast in the process. Adam and the entire Bootcamp game have become a second family. The progress I've made over the last year has been game changer. I'm customer for life.

Also a great couples workout! My boyfriend and I go together-it is a great workout and a great time together :)

I typically HATE bootcamps and refuse to go.....but this bootcamp I swear by!!!! The workout is amazing, the people are so welcoming and supportive and Adam is the best!!! He is supportive, encouraging and motivational! He really pushes you but doesn't scream at you or demean you like some bootcamp instructors and some martial art/ boxing instructors. He really is an amazing instructor and I highly recommend the class! You always leave feeling much better about yourself. I try to go at least twice a week! If I could I would go every day! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

Adam is great and motivational! Definitely a good combo of bootcamp and boxing. Remember that it is cash only!

Their professionalism, energy, and dedication are truly the heart of this club. However, my recent experiences have caused me to reconsider continuing my membership. The removal of the cycling classes was disappointing, as they were an important and enjoyable part of my routine. Even more concerning was the decision to store the cycling bikes in the dance studio used for Zumba and Body Pump. This has significantly reduced the available space, creating a cramped environment and noticeably increasing the room temperature. This would be challenging under any circumstances, but it is especially problematic given the lack of a functional air conditioning system. Members have raised this concern with local staff repeatedly over several months, yet the issue remains unresolved. It is frustrating to see resources allocated toward dismantling the basketball courts while such a critical comfort and safety issue continues to be overlooked. Additionally, the new parking system has added another layer of inconvenience to the overall experience. After more than a decade of loyalty, it is disheartening to feel that the quality of the club has declined so substantially. I sincerely hope to see meaningful and timely improvements, as I would prefer to remain a member, but without change, I will unfortunately have to reconsider.

All the big windows and light make it a great experience, vs other LA fitnesses that make me feel like I'm in jail. Also weird comment but there are a lot of rlly beautiful people who come here which is nice and encouraging LOL but people aren't super creepy/hitting on girls or anything which is great. Parking is in a garage which I do hate but they validate and there are some free spots if you drive around a bit. BUT!!!! They used to have these massive gorgeous ceiling fans over the cardio equipment to keep the runners cool! Like the treadmills and ellipticals and stuff. And then I guess the fans they had broke and they had to find replacements- IDK if this was a decision from corporate or management (which fans to get) but they downsized MAJORLY. The new fans are so pathetic it's not even funny I'm constantly DRENCHED in sweat and I know it was probably cheaper! They're like fr half the size of the old fans!!!! And I don't want to complain to a front desk person bc it's not their fault! So I can just hope whoever is responsible SEES this review and KNOWS that it was almost five stars!! But bc of their GREED and UNFEELING WAYS I gotta drop it down to 4. Pls put my big fans back.

Everyone minds there own business. You dont feel judged. When I say they have about almost everything you need im not joking. Their gym equipment is very modern to help build your gains. They have a refrigerator to store your lunches in, a water cooler, private lockers and showers, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. The only downside is you may feel crowded when you workout bc of all the variety of gym equipment but this gym is meant to keep a threshold and did i mention this gym is 24/7??? Take advantage if you're early bird. I struggled a bit with their equipment ngl, bc im still a newb to weight lifting and im not familiar with seeing equipments having an on/off switch to load/unload weights however, i thought it was cool. 5 stars - my go-to Equinox location…read more Equinox Studio City is my home gym and I'm here pretty much every day. I've been to Hollywood, DTLA, West Hollywood, Glendale, Santa Monica, and Studio City is still my favorite overall. Biggest thing is cleanliness. For how busy this place gets, it's always maintained. Towels are always stocked, locker rooms are constantly being cleaned, and I've never walked into a shower that was out of products. There's always staff in there keeping everything in check. Another huge win is Erewhon Studio City right next door. You finish your workout and immediately have a solid post-workout meal ready. Nothing beats that. There's no Earth Bar here, but honestly you don't even need it because Erewhon is better. You do have to time your workouts though. Early mornings before 8am are the best, weekends early are even better and usually empty. After 9-10am it starts getting packed, and evenings around 5-7pm are honestly tough if you're trying to get a smooth workout in. People complain about parking because the plaza gets busy, but I've never had an issue. I go early, get a great spot, and I'm out before it gets crazy. One issue I've raised multiple times is people bringing oils into the steam room. When they pour it in, the whole place smells, it sticks to your body and hair, and I've had allergic reactions from it. It happens less now, but when it does it completely ruins the steam room. Feels like something that could be controlled better. The vibe here is more low-key, which I like. People mind their business and just work out. Compared to Hollywood, which can feel more social and sometimes uncomfortable, Studio City feels way more normal and focused. Front desk and trainers are hit or miss. Some are great, some don't even acknowledge you. Trainers here mostly keep to themselves unless you hire them, while other locations feel more welcoming. Not a dealbreaker, just noticeable. Music is at a good level too--it doesn't interfere with your headphones, which I appreciate. At the end of the day, I'm here daily for a reason. If you figure out the timing, this is one of the best Equinox locations in LA.
