Finally after calling multiple times over multiple days it finally goes through, now you are on hold for 45 min. Ultimately being told they had an oops, my choices are making another appointment, which is a month out, and do the whole thing all over again OR try to renew online and pay the fee again. Utterly ridiculous. I am literally paying for their utter incompetence.

The whole process took about 10 minutes sitting at the counter, and the lady was very nice, and congratulated us. We did notice a typo as we left, and came back to wait another 1/2 minutes with a new number, and got this corrected right away. People always bemoan dealing with the DMV but both Loveland offices have been so easy to deal with. Received a virtual number and went into the correct room. Short wait and Jenna assisted me. She was friendly and helpful. Guided me through the process. Made it fun. And took a good photo. She also let me know that I could do a walk in to get the title of my car changed. I went to Christine at the front information desk and she gave me a number. Went back to wait and Johanna assisted me. She was in training but all went smoothly. And friendly too. Walked out with all tasks completed. I was out of town and my paper plates expired, could not locate any of the words "expired temporary/paper plates expired/renewal" online via the website, so I walked in to be helped. The lady at the front desk helped me find the correct area online and the next available appointment is March 2ed...13 days away. You use be able to sacrifice 2 to 3 hours waiting in line and get everything done that you needed to get done at this DMV, now instead of 2-3 hours it's a week to 2 week wait. I have lived in Colorado all my life and this is the only DMV I ever went to. Grew up hating it…read morebecause everyone was always so rude like they hated their jobs but management has done a great job turning this around. We went to get my daughters driving test today not realizing they recently changed the rules about appointments only and we were a walk in. The first person we dealt with was the supervisor (I regret not getting her name now cause she was so kind and patient). She said she'd see what she could do and put us on standby. The next gentlemen we worked with us equally as kind and helpful. The driving instructor was even spectacular. They all deserve the greatest acknowledgment. They turned what could have easily been the worst day for my daughter and me into one of the best days of her life. And we were in and out in just a few hours. I had taken the whole day off but was able to make it back to work. Thank you again for your kindness and efficiency.
