I would recommend. Called Adam's Door to replace a broken torsion spring on our garage door. They were able to be out the same day and replaced both for less than $250. Kenny was super helpful and fast, replaced the parts, adjusted my opener to work a lot better than before the spring broke. read more

My fiancee was going to leave and opened the garage door. She pushed the opener button and it went up 1/8" before the cable snapped. I got it back down, and the next morning I called Adams. After doing some research I landed on Adams. Adams has a long history of being in my community and during these unprecedented - supporting local is more important than ever. I called them up at 730 and they said they would be able to have someone out between 8 and 12PM, it was only an hour later and Kenny was here to save the day. I've had issues with my garage doors ever since they were installed by another vendor a couple years ago. Kenny was able to quickly diagnose and determine a solution that was the most sustainable and should not cause issues for years. Kenny's craftsmanship and precision to detail was second to none and frankly, I have a couple of other doors at some point that I want Kenny to put his "treatment" on. I have been a customer of Adams Door since 2008, using their services a number of times, including installation of a new opener on a garage door. I was always satisfied. So naturally, I called them this year when the opener on my other garage door stopped working, and a new opener was installed in May. But on July 10, 2021, I saw the new opener hanging from the garage ceiling -- one of the screws on the mounting bracket had pulled out and was lying on the floor. I called the Company and a technician came out July 13. I asked him if there would be any charge, or if some sort of "installation warranty" applied. He said my original bracket had been used to mount the opener and so there would be a charge, as the Company was not responsible for its installation. He secured the opener by installing three screws in the bracket. He then called the company office to find out what charges should be assessed, which I reluctantly paid. The charges were unreasonable. Not only was $21.00 charged for installing three screws, but a $69.00 "Service and Diagnostic" charge was assessed -- but I had already diagnosed the problem when I called and said one of the screws fell out. Such shabby treatment of a long-standing (but no more) customer cannot be ignored, and I will call another company in the future. read more

Called this company after lightning struck our house because their sticker being on the inside of the door from previous owners. Took two days for them to come out, which was on a Friday, was told it was a circuit board that needed replaced and would order. Called the following Tuesday to ask how long it usually takes to get the part and left message. Didn't hear anything back on Wednesday, so called back on Thursday for status of part. Was rudely told the part wasn't in, and didn't know when to expect it. The guy didn't ask my name, so not even certain he knew what part I was inquiring about. Said he would check on it, but since he didn't ask my name or clarify where I could be reached, didn't seem worried about following up with me....THE CUSTOMER. Following this call, called a competitor who has the part in stock and explained how easy it is to install. My husband will be picking up today and installing. That would have been nice to know a week and a half ago! There are other businesses out there that are more than willing to provide the products and services that you need, so recommend looking elsewhere. read more

When I called to get an email address for the owner to file a complaint, I was directed to Wayne Bain, the "head of service", who gave me his email and informed me that the owner did not have an email address and that I could mail a complaint to him. When I then asked what the owner's name was, he finally disclosed that it was Larry Bain his brother. Wayne showed no interest in offering any support, apology or concern when I told him that there was an incident with one of his drivers sideswiping my car and breaking off my passenger side mirror. This lack of customer service translates into his and his company's poor and lacking ability to perform quality work. I wouldn't trust them!!! read more

I am a woman that owns her own townhouse. I needed my garage door looked at because I was having water coming in my garage-My homeowner association did our driveways last summer-that cement put the pitch of my garage floor off to where I had visible gaps under the weather strip-making my garage cold-I had way too many conversations with my HOA management people that are NOT specialist-This morning I met Kenny- a true specialist that fixed the gaps & saved me a bunch of money. If I could give this business zero stars I would. Eight months ago my employer had Adams Door Company repair a door on our shop building. The work was done satisfactory, the problem is with the Accounting Manager. Seven months later we received a letter in the mail stating we had an outstanding amount due. I referred to my copy of the invoice and had notes that I had called in payment 7 months ago. After researching I found the payment had not ever been processed on my credit card. I immediately called and spoke with Brianne. She took my credit card info and said the payment had been processed. When my statement was ready 3 weeks later I saw that the charge had once again not went through on my work credit card. I immediately called and spoke with Mindy the Accounting Manager. I gave her my card information and she emailed the receipt to me. Five days had passed and I realized that I had given Mindy my personal debit card. I called and left a message stating that I needed to credit my personal debit card and charge my work Visa asap. Since that time my coworker and I have left more than 8 messages to no avail. It's gotten to the point that the main person doesn't even answer my calls anymore. She picks up the phone and instantly transfers my call to Mindy's voice mail. It's VERY frustrating that they run a business in this fashion. My husband's job has had a similar situation, however, his employer received a bil that should go to the owner and his company has also tried to reach out and no one will return their calls either. This is very frustrating and it would have been such a quik and easy fix. I don't understand. My advice is to look around for a different company to use. read more
