I also requested several quotes for this work to repair my deck - Alan came in at a very reasonable rate. Much more so than some of the other quotes and the work he did was of high standard. See photo of the time he took to sand the edges of the handrails; he also took special care to choose high quality boards. Even when he ended up realizing that there would need to be additional work to be done that would come at an additional cost to me, he made sure to talk me through my options, he made recommendations, and never forced me into anything. Then he gives you just enough to get you off his back and then still doesn't follow through. Claims he has materials he doesn't and claims he had to special order things and won't provide receipts when asked. The store says other wise that things were in fact not ordered and what materials he did drop off are incorrect and are in stock in the store. He offered a refund, we will see if we get that. We have been down to studs since beginning of September. Oh and he punctured a hole through a wall and didn't fix it. It has been a nightmare trying to get the correct materials or a refund so we can part ways with him. We will see if we get the refund he said he would give, if not we will be taking him to court for compensation. ​
