I had a beautiful room with a view of the lake and there was also a nice shared common room with amenities. There was only one other room at the B&B (with lovely occupants) and I am so glad that I decided to treat myself to this instead of a campground. I only wish I had spent another day after the festival was over to enjoy the beautiful lake. Jolee and Dale were considerate hosts who provided a wonderful breakfast each morning in the common area and lots of privacy. We just returned from a visit at Treehouse Point, completing a bucket list item. To say it was an…read moreoutstanding experience is putting it mildly! It was the highlight of our road trip! When we arrived at Treehouse Point, everybody was so professional and kind! We were given a quick tour of all of the amenities in the lodge and other community areas. Then, we were directed to our tree house, Ananda. Just wow! It was cozy as well as spacious, and it was very well appointed with everything we could possibly need! Even though there were other tree houses around ours, we ALL enjoyed total privacy. A great deal of attention has been made in creating personal experiences while still tending to developing a very unique community. All building materials in our treehouse were the best quality available, and the workmanship is second to none! We walked around the grounds, being respectful of others' privacy. Every tree house was unique and beautiful! We then took the trail down to the Raging River. It was beautiful, but our spring has been unusually dry, and the river a little thirsty. Overnight, a rainstorm came through the area. The sound coming from a refreshed river the next morning was breathtaking! I wanted to wake up so I could experience it all, but instead I slept through it. I guess I slept comfortably! (And I am not young.) The bath houses were beautiful and felt like individual spa rooms. They were supplied with wonderful bath products, and the shower offered a pampering experience. Similarly, special products and amenities were provided in our private unit, including coffee and tea. We were going to wash our few dishes, but no dish soap was found, further demonstrating Treehouse Point's intent to pamper their guests. After waking up in the trees, we prepared our own mugs of coffee, tea, and nibbles. After a peaceful start to the day, we made our way to the lodge for breakfast (feeding the fish along the way). Our own breakfast was absolutely wonderful! The chef and souz chef prepared several wonderful dishes. The selections and quality of preparation were both outstanding! Our visit was so wonderful that we truly didn't want to leave! We made the visit to fulfill a bucket list item, but we are already talking about returning again, this time with friends. I could go on and share more, but I want you to delight in your own experience, just as we had. If you've been considering a visit to Treehouse Point, wait no longer. You will never regret it!

Basically, the owner made an offer in an email that she did not keep and reserved the cabin out from under us a few days before our trip. Here are the details: I wrote Rita an email asking about the cost for a three night stay. She wrote back with a final cost and I confirmed via phone call. I gave over my full name, credit card info and home address. She then called back and said she was sorry, but the price she'd quoted me was incorrect because she'd based it on two nights rather than three. She owned the mistake and gave me a new price reflecting three nights. I agreed to the new price initially, and she sent over a contract to sign before 7pm that evening. After speaking with my wife, we decided the new price was simply too high so I wrote Rita to cancel. She apologized again and offered one of the nights for free to make up for the mistake. She said she'd email me a new contract to reflect this adjustment. I said that was wonderful. She wrote back shortly after to say that she was sorry, but someone else had begun to reserve those dates and she'd write back if they fell through. Ok? So here I'd gone 95% of the way through the process, received an offer in no uncertain terms, and had it retracted at the last minute ostensibly to earn more dollars from another client. I didn't post screen shots of our emails here as a courtesy. If it's your first time staying here I'd strongly consider other options first given the customer service issues I'd encountered so early in the process.

The tree houses are so quaint and relaxing. The property is 420 friendly, so it was awesome to be able to smoke in the tree house, by the fire pit, even in the lounge while getting our snacks/drinks from the fridge. This space feels very cozy and more community-oriented than something like a hotel or air BnB. Pretty close to town, so easy to access anything you might need within a 10-15min drive. The animals on the property were all so precious and calm and curious about us. This was just such an awesome experience and stay! Highly recommend to people who are 420 enthusiasts, chill/relaxed mindset, looking for a quiet and calm stay, and love the outdoors. Not a good place if you're looking for luxury and a high-end boutique stay. We stayed for five days at the end of June and the first weekend of July. The guest quarters had…read morejust been completed and they were immaculate! The granite counter tops and tiled floors in the kitchen and bathroom were beautiful and the living area was exceptionally clean. Each bedroom was about the same size and had plenty of room for belongings including a good sized closet as well as a large dresser. There is a view of Liberty Bay from the windows and water access from the property, which we took advantage of as crab season opened the weekend we were there. Wade and Julia, the owners, were very accommodating and Wade even pointed us in the right direction to fill our limit on crab that weekend. The Guesthouse is central to everything we wanted to do in Poulsbo. It's a 3 minute drive to downtown, with great shops, especially Sluy's Bakery (the best doughnuts/pastries ever). It's about a five minute drive to to the local casino, where we enjoyed an evening of relaxing, low-stakes gambling and it's about 15 minutes to the ferry landing when we wanted to enjoy a couple of days sightseeing in Seattle. I can't say enough good things about our experience at the Lemolo Greenhouse Guesthouse. Very highly recommended!
