My now husband and I could not say no to a venue that was 1) beautiful 2) great price 3) had a closet full of decor we could use and 4) responsive owners that answered any questions that came their way. The decor planning was relatively easy since we used pieces from the closet for our entrance and reception tables. Most folks said I didn't look stressed throughout the process, and I believe most of that stemmed from Gray Bridge making it incredibly simple for us to use their items. We just had to take care of personal pieces, such as the entrance sign or guestbook. The only downside to this place is the drive, which is roughly an hour away from Seattle (or 1.5X during traffic time). We overcame that by starting our ceremony earlier than usual (330PM) so we could have our guests enjoy the venue for roughly 7.5-8 hours. Another perk to this venue is they allow any vendors onsite. We weren't stuck with having to buy X cases of wines at wineries or sticking with food caterers that were not on par to the quality we were looking for. Overall, I highly recommend you checking out this place and booking ASAP since their dates fill up well a year in advance.

To start with, the venue is absolutely gorgeous (our wedding was in June). We wanted a beautiful PNW backdrop to show our out of state guests and that is definitely what we got - everyone complimented us on it later! Gray Bridge is set up in a thoughtful layout that makes wedding days flow smoothly while also providing smaller, intimate moments for photos, games, mingling, etc. Additionally, Stacy and Matt go above and beyond to make sure everything is on track and the venue is set up to each couple's specific wedding day vision. It took so much of the uncertainty out of wedding planning to know that we were in such good hands and that Stacy and Matt had great relationships with our vendors, which really goes a long way. Finally, all the decor available to borrow definitely kept costs (and stress) down! We definitely hope to be back here as guests someday :)

Song river was an EXCEPTIONAL choice of Venue. This is exactly what you are looking for and so much…read moremore. Large space, full customization, beautiful decor, friendly service. We booked Song River for our wedding reception and Quyen (the owner) was so helpful from the very beginning. Im an overwhelmed bride, and only child with no siblings, and my mother has Dementia so i was doing it all alone. I never had my wedding planned from a young age so I was completely lost and scared where to begin and wanted something easy. Quyen was there to guide me and literally wipe the tears from my face (I got overwhelmed and cried). We booked the space from 11am to 11pm and Quyen sent over an amazing detailed guide to help plan my wedding and reception. I chose one of her pre-selected decorations options and it turned out so beautiful. I believe the package was called "the silk" i cant recall but it was worth it. All lights and decorations are fully customizable and we chose to go with white table linens/chairs and blue/purple lights. Vendors were a BREEZE, as she let's you bring anyone so long as they are licensed and insured. But dont stress because Quyen has a list of vendors she has worked with that know the space, we ended up choosing one from that list for food and bar and purchased the beer/wine to save some $$$. Venues are expensive but Song River is very affordable in today's market, and honestly worth so much more with how beautiful, large, and customizable the space is. Quyen is professional, kind, and knowledgeable, you will want her on your team and you will want to book this space. 10/10 amazing experience and memorable reception!

Their Borrow Room is full of beautiful and useful treasures to enhance the natural beauty of the space. Their wedding planning guide and vendor recommendations are so detailed and thorough. Olive, Quyen and the entire Song River staff are truly remarkable humans and incredible professionals. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, inviting, and respectful of our queerness and the many different identities of our wedding guests. I cannot recommend them enough for any event. Not only do you get THE BEST venue, but you get the wealth of knowledge and experience that they share with you, and you get to support a minority-owned business and some of the most amazing humans I've met. Our wedding day was pure magic and Song River was an integral part of that.

The first time I did my tour here, I immediately clicked with Angela ---- she is so down to earth, knows her stuff and open to any and all ideas. I really appreciated how communicative she was throughout everything and helped make the process so smooth for my husband and I. The rooms were great (my bridesmaids used the castle) and groomsmen used the cottage. Both great locations and so spacious to get ready in. Nothing felt crowded and everyone could have their own space (we had 10 people total in the bridal party)! Now to talk about the wedding: 1. Highly encourage hiring Angela as the day of coordinator (she was efficient, great communicating with vendors, so talented in decorating for the wedding and one of the things we loved is Angela was great at checking in with everyone during the wedding but also never stepped on any toes. I had many family members comment on how they appreciated her thoughtfulness throughout the day checking in). 2. Parking was great and easy! Plenty of room for everyone. 3. Stay the night! It was great finishing the wedding and just being able to go into the castle and enjoy the night together. The venue is so beautiful and it was nice to stay and take in all the sights. 4. Place was very clean and well stocked with coffee and tea. So many places to take great pictures and incredibly peaceful and quiet. Thank you Angela and we cannot wait to visit again!

For the price they charge for "tea", you get grocery store platter of veggies, cheese, some dollar store brownies and stickers and choice of two types of tea that you serve yourself in styrofoam cups from a coffee carafes. On top of the disappointing tea service, the atmosphere is quite... for a lack of better description... awkward. There's no music, lunch is served outside rain or shine buffet style, the owners sit at the table with you and talk about themselves the entire time and the guests all left early since it was clearly a waste of time and money. Safe yourself the disappointment and go get yourself a nice meal somewhere else. Oh, and you aren't even allowed into the castle unless you make a separate reservation that costs even more. It could really be a beautiful property and even an enjoyable experience if they would pull weeds, do some maintenance and make an effort to provide an actual tea service.
