We have visited this restaurant far north of us since they opened but not for a long time. We…read morewanted to buy some specialty groceries $$$ at the local town and country market and decided to get dinner while there. In the past it was always very busy and full here. The last two times In a few years we've been there not so much. Our preferred table is an odd round booth tables right up against the fire at the kitchen and it's a bit like sitting at the chefs table in a nice restaurant . Typically served by the bartender when it's not really busy and fun to watch the kitchen and chill. We always seem to order one of the large plate combos and usually the "turf" option. The potato's are just soft, creamy, and plentiful. The bacon wrapped dates good. The chicken empanadas are fried nice but still moist inside and good with the harissa sauce and served with a great house salad for two. I don't eat lamb really ever but I do here. Really perfectly done little lamb chops on the bone but I'm only good for one. The beef skewer pretty good though a little tough. And the pineapple chicken wraps plentiful and spicy yet a bit too sweet but kind of addictive. The bartender was a great server and nice fellow but a bit busy otherwise with house drink prep. But we weren't in a hurry so it was fine. I see that there are some recent reviews about ownership change and that it is not the same as the beginning of this place. I can't disagree with that however it seems like the limited fixed menu combo board we always order has remained mostly the same and the reduced hectic volume of diners has made it more available to us as far drive dining option. It has of course become more expensive but not too much out of the norm. I'm not so sure that I would put on a large group meal here however.

Fairly small bar, Saturday…read morenight 7:45pm, I got lucky with snagging a couple bar top spots but otherwise no tables were available. Food was pretty good - just selected a few of their appetizers; my favorite was the fried dumplings! Spam Masubi was just ok, kinda dry - I'm used to there being a bit of eel sauce beyond just the spam glaze, but I'd try it again! The Mac salad could have used some salt and pepper. Note: they did offer me S&P, so I could have spruced it up myself & I understand wanting to cater to majority tastes - nonetheless I found it to be a bit bland. Multiple Tv screens. Looks like a good place to catch a game with friends. Overall, will be back!

The interior is Hawaiian-themed and also has an outdoor seating area which is perfect for the summer! My friend and I shared some spam musubi and got some drinks. The spam musubi was...meh. It's not bad but I've had better at Hmart lol. The drinks aren't bad though! I got the margarita and tequila sunrise- yummy! I love how they have all day specials so take a look at the chalk board hung up at the bar when you come visit. Our server Makalya was fantastic- she brought such good vibes and was absolutely wonderful! Hope to come back and try more items on the menu.

There food is okay here, nothing spectacular but definitely not bad. The Highlander pizza, again just okay. The crust was what was lacking. I think they got the bottom crisped up better it really would've help. The pesto fettuccine was pretty good and it came with garlic bread. As someone who loves garlic bread and butter, they used way too much butter. I had to soak up some pesto sauce to eat it. Also, if I had known the pastas came with garlic bread I wouldn't have ordered the garlic cheese bread (this was my bad). The garlic cheese bread was a bit better as it wasn't as buttery, either that or the cheese masked it. All in all it, it was not a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend this place for the food, but it's a decent pizza bar to go watch a game or hangout with friends.

It's a cozy little pizza joint with nice employees and good food...not much more to say than that. The pizza is always quite good and the beer is cold. It's a great place for families, and there always seem to be little kids running around (but in the cute way, not obnoxious). We'll continue to make excuses to come up this way more often.

This review is only for their wings - I haven't tried any other food / deals they offer…read more I come at least once every two months on a Thursday for their $1.25 / wings! The wings are very meaty, and plump - nothing like Wingstop. It's ruined almost every wing restaurant / chain for me. They require a minimum of 8 wings per flavor, so if you come with a big group you can mix and match flavors easily. My top two flavors: hot (buffalo) and the dry rub lemon pepper. Service is alright. You seat your self (if there is a table open). On busy days, you just fight for a table. I wish they implemented some form of queue or paper on which party is next. Tables just get wiped down with a rag. But the price / quality for the wings makes me come back every time.
