The employees were friendly and offered to help, but they do have good signage . Prices are typical for a Harris Teeter store. They are open until 11:00 pm so that is helpful.

I was in Jekyll Island for a conference and we had candy at our trait booth. The attendees ate all of the candy the very first day and I needed to run out to the grocery store and buy more. I chose the Harris Teeter on Saint Simons because it was a familiar brand. I ended up getting a foot-long sub and had half for dinner that night and then saved the other half for another evening. I randomly was driving around the island and went to the Jekyll Island club, which was absolutely gorgeous. I went back the next day with my leftover sub from the hotel refrigerator and had a picnic under the beautiful several hundred years old white oak trees. It was such a special moment that I had to take pictures. It was an ideal picnic.

Produce, commercial bakery (all brought in from elsewhere), dairy, deli (pre-packaged), meat (processed elsewhere) and dry goods. If you've ever shopped an ALDI, you'll know it. Good quality, low prices. Bring your reusable bags or maybe find a box to carry your groceries. The bags aren't free. And remember to bring a quarter for your cart deposit. Although some aisles were blocked while employees stocked, many other aisles were clear and less foot traffic than other grocery stores. We easily found everything we needed and the selection was great. Checkout was really fast and no lines. Only one star was lost for the aisles being blocked and the tons of carts in the parking area. Otherwise, we love this store and will be here often in the future.
