I unreservedly recommend Adams Moving Company. Adam himself was in communication with us immediately after we requested a quote. He offered to walk through our 3 bedroom ranch home (free) for a move into a 4 bedroom with both a basement and upper floor. He provided an estimate that was accurate and answered our questions about how we could expect that time to fluctuate, such as whether we wanted them to disassemble furniture (which they offered to do). As I had questions leading up to the move, Adam was always quick to respond, whether I texted or called. Adam also called himself to confirm our move the day before, which is something that I usually have had to do myself with moving companies. He also asked us if we needed any last minute moving supplies for our items such as a wardrobe box, and he let us know what time they would be arriving. On the day of the move, Adam called to let us know when they were on their way from their Branford location. He had us walk the movers through the house so they could plan how to load the truck. Then they began their work. They covered floors, wrapped every single piece of furniture, padded furniture that needed protection, communicated with each other about watching corners/walls, and moved quickly and efficiently yet carefully. Upon unload, they were happy to have us direct them for every piece of furniture so they could put it exactly where we wanted it, which was great for heavier pieces like our headboard, which we couldn't relocate ourselves, as well as our upright piano, which they were diligent in protecting. They also offered to assembled any furniture we needed assembled. Every one of the movers working with Adam was also polite, which seems like a small thing but it's also something that really stood out to me. I have worked with many different moving companies in Florida, Boston, and Connecticut, and Adams Moving gave us the most comfortable moving experience we've ever had. I don't think there is a comparative moving company in the New Haven County area. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone with zero exception. read more

I've moved four times all across the country. I will say that Adam's Moving was the best experience yet. They were professional the quote was spot on and their service was amazing. They continually asked what else they could move and if everything was in its right place. They moved many items around to ensure my parents were happy with the location of all furniture. They also took on moving several large stone sculptures that weighed several hundred pounds each. Christian, Jace, David, Lesly, Eric, Tariq and Gabe worked long days and work excellent to work with. The three movers, Christian, David and Mike were fantastic and spent a very long day with multiple stops beginning in CT, then to lower NYC and finally out to Brooklyn to a 5 story walk up in a snow and ice storm, with parking only available half a block away. Adam did a great job with my move! He was on time, prepared, very professional, and very good at his job. Although he gave me the option of hiring additional helpers, I chose to have just him and I was amazed that he was able to move so much on his own, including a heavy desk and a dresser.
