I went to Adapt due to left foot pain associated with nerve issues originating from an L4-L5 herniation. I had my reservations on the recovery. I signed up for 40 sessions. I stuck with their treatment and guidance, giving 100% effort and commitment. After 35 sessions, I realized I was generally feeling better. I can now lift weights, run, and do squats with no pain or issues! I am super active and have so much more confidence in my conditioning and abilities. A couple of years ago, i injured my back doing squats and later injured my glute doing weighted lunges. Even after resting, trying a chiropractor, and going to a different PT, I wasn't back to 100%. I improved a little bit, but I was unable to do yoga or run for a long time without pain, and had started to resign myself to the idea of reducing my activity level as day-to-day activities were beginning to hurt. This was devastating to me as a fairly active person, so I decided to try PT again when I moved to NJ. Guys and Ladies - this is the real deal if you want to fix your chronic neck and back problem! I came into Adapt PT during Covid 19 times and as a very hesitant "non believer" who does not believe that quality PT places exist in NJ! The reason that I was a "non-believer" is that I had been through so many other over the years, including -Drs, PT locations, acupuncturists, chiropractors, injections, pain management nerve killing procedures, pain meds, active release technique offices - which provided no relief or possibly just temporary relief. In several cases, other providers made it worse (including hospital visit level)- by aggregating my pain level and sending me into severe flare ups! Dr. Payal helped me become pain free after 20 years. I've had arthritis since I was 9. Being an athlete has been part of my life since I was little. From softball, basketball, and tennis to running marathons and completing triathlons and everything in between, I've put my body through a lot.
