She had the breakfast sandwich and I ordered an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe pour over and bagel with cream cheese. The sandwich, made to order, was evenly toasted, flavorful, moist and had a nice kick from the house pepper sauce. The portion was enough to sate your appetite without leaving you feeling stuffed. The bagel, fresh from a local bakery, was decent and was what my tummy yenned for. The Yirgacheffe coffee tasted a little diluted but was still better than most of what was available in the area. This is the land of coffee/tea artisans, good friend... a veritable paradise for those with coin. My girlfriend and I are both around 24 years old, we love unwinding and decompressing here every weekend, since we live closeby. On all my visiting family tours, this is one of the pit stops. My uncle is a coffee connoisseur and business tycoon and he ordered the expresso and he enjoyed it. My stepfather ordered a Brazillian coffee and he said it was the best he had. I'm not personally a coffee drinker, but if I were to drink it, I wouldn't mind occasionally here. It's also a treasure trove of surprisingly good tea (my girlfriend is Chinese and grew up with tea). I recommend the "matcha" tea latte, which is one of their differentiators from most coffee shops, besides their incredible dedication to quality. Can't say enough good things about this place. When you walk in there are light fixtures in mason jars, couches and games around for people to play with. The environment is out of this world and the baristas are so inviting and friendly. It's a place you want to hang out all day. We were grabbing coffee before heading to the beach. I'm apart of a large family (1 of 8 kids). That can be overwhelming for some people but the barista and girl who took our order were patient and extremely friendly. Every one we encountered took the time to explain the menu and we never felt rushed. We even went back the next morning because we enjoyed it so much. I will be back next time I'm in St Pete. DIDN'T KNOW GOOD COFFEE COULD EXIST IN THIS AREA But it's true! And not just excellent Espresso, but all inside a very welcoming, cool hangout-type of place. If you haven't been here, you have to come! This place is a hidden gem! I have been here twice, once for breakfast and today for lunch. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with couches, tables, a bar and outside seating. Robin, the owner know her customers by name and her employees are just as inviting as she is. They welcome feedback and aim to please! There are many items available for breakfast but the triple orange muffins are a must to try! They are moist and taste like an oragne creamsicle! They have a variety of drinks as any "Kaffeehaus" would. Breakfast sandwiches are made to order as well as their lunch sandwiches. They serve boars head meat and soups. What a great find in such a quiet plaza. I've lived in Clearwater my whole life and besides the occasional Starbucks, it's rare to find a coffee shop that has such charming decor and creative drinks. My sisters and I ordered the banana creme, chai, and tex mex lattes. The banana creme tea used is brewed right upon order and only a light honey is added for subtle sweet flavor. The banana flavor is surprisingly not much of an artificial flavor. You can ask the batista to smell the tea before she brews. The chai was simple, but nothing too exciting as all chais are winners... The texmex on the other hand is very sweet, much owed to the condensed milk added in. It's definitely too sweet for my taste. 4 stars because this place only opens until 8, so it's not really the place to study for the night. read more

If you're meeting a friend for coffee on a Saturday morning, this is the perfect spot. The cappuccino is made carefully, with the best foam I have ever had. (They use whole milk.) The morning glory muffin was slightly warmed and a delicious companion. My friend had a breakfast sandwich and hot tea. We both enjoyed the atmosphere and the ability to chat and lingered, nearly two hours. That was long enough to do a second round, but this time it was iced tea. What a quaint and amazing establishment! I am visiting the town for my son's history bowl tournament and they take ALL day - so I needed to find a place to work for a little while. I started out a a BIG chain coffee place that I knew would have wifi - it was SOOOOO loud in there and the food and drinks are SO over priced. So I went on google and found another local Tea & Coffee House just down the road. I am SOOOO glad I made the switch! Small store with plenty of tables, wifi, fresh muffins and pastries, and sandwiches that I saw coming out to other patrons that looked great! The Haus Coffee Shop was such a nice find. We came in search of tea this visit as it's been cold and we were all quite sick. The place was large and inviting, with comfy chairs and wifi- all you'd expect from a great coffee shop. I'm holding back on the 5th star only because I didn't get the chance to try their coffee and feel like I should try the coffee before determining if I like a coffee shop enough for 5 stars. Definitely has the potential to be the perfect spot. I don't live in the area, but if I did, I imagine I would go here frequently. I had a croissant egg and cheese (made perfectly with provolone cheese), and a key lime cookie which was delicious. My choice of tea was the lemon sencha, which I was delighted to find was brewed with loose leaf tea and strained before serving (so it took a few minutes). My daughters and I tried this coffer shop on our last day visiting Florida. Was greeted by a nice man behind the counter and was very polite. Our coffee drinks were very good. I had a Mocha Latte, my daughter made her own iced latte with brown sugar and cinnamon which was very delicious, not sweet at all. My other daughter had the special Pumpkin Spice Latte which was also very good. They both decided to eat something too. Turkey sandwich and a Bacon egg croissant and they said it was delicious. I ordered the Lemon Sencha Green Tea with a lemon cookie and my friend ordered the Chai Tea Latte, a chocolate cookie, the cheese cake, and a cinnamon roll (she is pregnant... Always feed the preggos!) the drinks were both great, the cookies were good, the cinnamon roll was ok... But the cheesecake. The cheesecake was amazing! Maybe a cookie crust? I wasn't your normal gram cracker crust. It was softer and the cheesecake itself was almost fluffy. The ambiance was great. Plenty of seating is inside, along with a few tables outside. Inside is usually not loud, with quiet conversation & good music at a low volume (lots of Queen on my last visit). I've enjoyed several different beverages here, all delightful: Americano, iced coffee with cinnamon sugar, & chardonnay. I've also tried the Boar's Head turkey on rye bread, and it was delicious. Additionally, they offer cafe-style baked goods. Their craft beer selection is not huge, but quite varied, & includes many local brews. I noticed their Facebook page announces tastings, so I look forward to stopping in after work for one of those.
