Love Tukro Coffee! It's our go-to local coffee shop. They offer a great variety of drinks, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. My favorites are the spinach & feta and the ham & cheese sandwiches...they're always delicious. The outdoor seating area is fantastic and works well for larger groups, plus it's welcoming to well-behaved dogs and kids. The interior is cozy but a bit small, so it can get busy. Don't let a line out the door scare you off though...it usually moves quickly! Highly recommend if you're looking for a great local spot for coffee and a bite to eat. read more

I recently stopped by Tukro Cafe, a small and very charming coffee shop tucked into what feels like an old bungalow. The space is cozy and quaint, with just a little bit of indoor seating and some outdoor tables that make it a great spot to sit and relax with a coffee. The atmosphere is really what makes this place special. It has a laid-back, neighborhood feel, and everyone working there was very friendly and welcoming. I also loved that it's within easy walking distance to the Downtown Dunedin market, so it's a perfect place to grab a coffee before or after strolling around town. On this visit I ordered a Snickerdoodle Latte. At first they accidentally gave me a regular latte without the flavoring, but once I mentioned it they were happy to fix it and added the snickerdoodle flavor. The drink ended up being good, though a bit lighter on the flavor than I expected. I expected it to taste more like the cookie, but it was more of a subtle hint. They also offer pastries, though I didn't try any this time. Next visit I'll probably check those out (and see if they happen to have any gluten-free options). Overall it's a really cute spot with a relaxed vibe, and I would definitely come back again -- especially when spending time around downtown Dunedin. I wanted to give a 3.5 stars rating, but decided to round up to 4 stars. Everyone can make a mistake (like with my drink) and I just got a good vibe from this place. Staff was super friendly and this business has limited inside seating as well as its own little courtyard to chill. All pretty shaded if its a spicy sun morning. The drinks were excellent! The food was a little weird with some crossiants with egg that was cooked sometime way prior to purchase and they run em thru a air fryer of some sort. Maybe the sweats are better but i dont typically get that kinda thing first thing in the morning. Its a block or so off the major path so its a little more chill and relaxing thats for sure. read more

Back for my second visit to Tukro Coffee, and this time I tried their popular Liquid Tiramisu OG. It's delicious--rich, creamy, and the perfect mix of coffee and dessert. I just wish it was bigger (it's more of a shot glass). I'm usually a hot latte person, so I wasn't sure about the cream-only, no milk, but it was so good I'd definitely get it again. This place is a five star as far as the coffee, food offerings and staff. Smooth lattes with interesting in-house flavors. The cinnamon roll I dream of. Croissants are delish. The missing star is for the seating. More could be added outdoors. 2 topper bistro tables don't take up much room on the lawn. The wait can be long but if you want quality get over it ... relax.... I've been going to Tukro since early March and I just realized I haven't left a review on my FAVORITE coffee shop in Pinellas County. I genuinely haven't found a coffee shop as good (it's to the point i will drive 20-30 minutes just to get their coffee.) It's very homey and cute with very few people on weekday afternoons. However, the singular con about this place, is that on weekends around 9 THEY ARE PACKED and won't have a lot of seating availability. But to me I have never minded it, but it's one thing that you want to consider. The staff are so sweet and friendly, but special shoutout to Leah and Jackie for being my favs! Their coffee is great, with my fav being the tiramisu latte. Also love the matcha- do note that it isn't naturally sweetened so i recommend a pump of either honey or vanilla with it. why this place was packed i have no idea... the prices were insane! none of us could taste the seasonal flavor in our drinks, after waiting forever for them. and, the quiche was liquidy inside which, for an egg based dish, is unsettling. i would definitely recommend going to veskolini instead if you want a good experience. read more

The pastries were delicious! It was very busy when we got there and they were making drinks as fast as they could! I got the tiramisu latte which was okay. It was fun to try, good, and definitely different - but I probably wouldn't get it again. My mom got the chai tea latte and after asking for more chai than milk, she said the ratio was perfect (she had been before). I stopped into this coffee shop very early on a Sunday morning. I'm glad I did because the place is quite popular and fills up pretty quickly as the morning goes on. It's located on a side street in but gets a lot of good foot traffic with the locals in Dunedin. I don't frequent Dunedin often but this spot is clearly a favorite for early birds. It's in a small little house which could either be seen as cozy or cramped, depending on your outlook haha. I got my usual, an iced vanilla latte with oat milk, and a warmed butter croissant which was incredibly flaky. They had some really tasty looking additional options too which I would totally come back for. The staff is super friendly and I think they definitely see familiar faces coming through their doors pretty often. I stayed here for about 4 hours just reading and it was very relaxing. Everything is excellent: the coffee, food, super friendly staff, nice location and ambiance, EXCEPT.....for me, it's being ruined by the wait: 10 minutes just to take your order, add another 20 to get served. Often crowded, meaning you stand while waiting. Then hope there's a place to sit with your food. This place need to ENLARGE both its square footage AND its staff. Wow! This place was the cutest find in downtown Dunedin. I was heading to Honeymoon Island for the day with my son and found this gem on the way. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. The workers here were so pleasant and helpful. I was about to order a lavender latte but one of the ladies recommended the cardamom-rose latte and it did not disappoint. The flavor was subtle and not too sweet (I don't like when my coffee tastes like milk and sugar). The ambiance is super cute and cozy. I love the plants hanging and the outdoor is well shaded with big trees. It's almost like you're visiting someone's house. Best coffee in Dunedin. If I discovered liquid tiramisu earlier I would have had one every day. I had expected it to be a flowy tiramisu dessert when it's really a tiramisu-like espresso shot that is just the right amount of sweetness (not very). Pure deliciousness. Owners should consider opening a place in NYC. I am sure that liquid tiramisu will make some "best of NY" lists. Loved their rocker chairs outside - just a nice place to hang out. The coffee they use is Counter Culture and the baristas seem to know what they are doing. Sadly they didn't do pour overs while I was there (the true test for a coffee place). The coffee shop has indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy coffee and a pastry, and free wifi if you're looking for a spot to get some work done over parking. I've traded off between my usual Nitro Cold Brew and Golden Kro latte (if you're a fan of turmeric / ginger then this is worth trying.)
